Great function - some additional needs
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to setup - document generation works great
What do you dislike about the product?
No ability to organize files in the composer window.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generating documentation through Salesforce. Allows our document team to work efficiently and effectively by using Salesforce fields in our documents.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's worth the function of the product, but in general, it has some hiccups.

Great tool, we switched from a competitor.
What do you like best about the product?
Conga provides a lot of versatility into the document generation and contract process. It allowed us to scale our contract process in a unique environment where we struggled with other vendors.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup took a big longer than we thought as we ran into integration issues. Additionally, it is a bit higher maintenance than we were accustomed to compared to previous vendors we used
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtual contract signing and in-line editing on Saleforce. Both were huge successes for us in terms of adoption. We recently rolled out the Conga grid tool that allows us to mass edit things all within salesforce.
Integration with Salesforce, but not super awesome.
What do you like best about the product?
Integration with Salesforce is pretty good.
What do you dislike about the product?
hard to modify the sending in SF, not able to easily update a document that was already sent, the emails go to leads spam folders sometimes. There is not an option to have a link to include in a standard email saying "if this goes to your spam, click here to see the doc".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
having contracts and legal information inside of SF easily.
Conga Review
What do you like best about the product?
Conga quickly became an excellent resource for our team to create documents quickly and get them out to customers. They were great to work with and made it an easy process for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had our Conga link break many times. We have had to reach out and ask for assistance enough to make many of our employees frustrated with the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can create custom documents to fit the many needs of our customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Engage the Conga team with any hiccups you may have. They are great to work with and are efficient, and respond quickly.

It's cheaper than docusign! But unfortunately, it's not nearly as good.

The automation seemed to break, needed lots of human oversight to make sure things looked ok and had the right details.

Could send contracts to be signed. In theory, would be automated from our CRM, but lots of manual entry
Conga, a perfect pdf generation solution for Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
I have been working on conga composer, conga trigger, and conga batch. I had a complex requirement of generating lot of PDF based on the salesforce records. I am fully satisfied with the working and ease of use of conga product.
What do you dislike about the product?
When document generation fails, it does not show the exacat error.

Generation of PDF when a student fills an application for schooling.

What do you like best about the product?
The best feature would be flexibility and customization power of the tool. It used templates with customizable fields to create and automate the policies to be maintained.
It helps in pulling data directly from Salesforce and generates documents easily.

It is consuming alot of time while creating presentations.

To generate order forms and documents from salesforce to streamline our sales processwe use Conga Documentation. It pulls appropriate data from our opportunity object and generates and document that can downloaded and shared with customers and prospects.
We recommend conga composer and conga contracts and grid to all of our client.

We recommend conga composer and conga contracts and grid to all of our clients. Composer makes it very easy to generate contract documents and with the help of sign it makes the process smooth.

We want the conga composer to be more flexible with the conga batch.

To make your process smooth and automate use conga composer with conga sign and conga batch.
Steep learning curve but flexible to meet most requirements and can produce beautiful docs
What do you like best about the product?
There really isn't any limitation to how beautiful you can make the output from Conga. I recommend building a temaplate and then giving it to your Marketing team to beautify. I really can make a difference to the prefessionalism of the output. Once you get your head around how the data is extracted from SF and surfaced on the doc it is quite simple but you do have to invest the time to learn it properly. I've 6 years SF experience as an admin and it took me 3-4 weeks to get my first (admittedly non-trivial document).

What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation online was hard to navigate as they had moved CM solutions just after we were onboarded. Sometimes we had to change the format of the data in SF to suit the way it was pulled into Conga.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automate the reports generated for customers. This is now much quicker and, much more importantly, consistent between months and customers.
Amazing Document generation from Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
The ability of conga document generation to generate documents from multiple salesforce objects into a single document is the best feature. We have integrated our salesforce with help of this tool to generate and send the documments.
What do you dislike about the product?
The requirement of a developer to set up and configure is cosly for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We earlier were not able to generate the documents from different objects into a document from native salesforce. Using this, we were able to merge fields of different records.
