Complete endpoint management a la carte!
What do you like best about the product?
We like with an agent installed you can do tons of things on endpoints. We have yet to scratch the surface of what it can do. You can add more features as you go. The team uses it daily to cleanup workstations, deploy software & patches.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had a small issue after the first month. We had high CPU utlization on workstations and servers. After starting a ticket with support from the console, they looked into it immedatley. It did take longer than we hoped for a fix, but it was easy enough to remove the agents. After the issues were resolved with a QPM, we redeployed the agents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easy to deploy software and patches for software. We're able to remove unused software. We can remotely clean up machines without intruding on the end user.
ManageEngine Endpoint Central = Amazing!
What do you like best about the product?
I have used many remote management software, but by far this is the best! Its easy to install, manage, setup patching, MDM, it integrates with our JIRA service board, allows for phone MDM not just PC and Mac. I know I have just scratched the surface, but I am loving this solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
The paging could be better, the only thing I dont like is when I click on something in Agents, and it takes me to another page in a subgroup, could be a tad more self-contained at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of access, and functionality that is lacking in other RMM tools
Endpoint Management
What do you like best about the product?
Patch management, ease of asset management, and the ability to use the tool as an inventory.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don’t like is that ManageEngine is not an update provider.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using ManageEngine, we had a WSUS for applying updates, and it was very inefficient.
Now, with ManageEngine, we have the ability to better manage OS updates and also update third-party software, which has helped us a lot.

Manage Engine Endpoint Central review
What do you like best about the product?
Manage Engine products work well together. We currently have (pay for) Manage Engine A.D. Manager Plus and Manage Engine Patch Manager.
The functionality is great! We are able to get our test devices enrolled, doing both BYOD mobile devices as well as fully company owned devices (both Android and iOS).
Getting profiles set up and getting mobile devices enrolled is quite easy and the tie in with Azure/Entra/Active Directory makes it very easy to get all of our users listed in the portal and allows us to assign devices as needed.
Manage Engine is the only MDM vendor that prices software/services by agent/admin instead of end point so that does simplify how things are priced.
The product reps and account rep for Manage Engine have been very helpful with any questions we have and getting any of their many products and services they offer demos or live testing environments set up for us.

What do you dislike about the product?
We started with Manage Engine MDM demo/live environement and switched to End Point Central and some things (like admin profiles) changed a bit so that was confusing.
Price - could be a con, since it can get expensive if needing alot of admins.
Some of the initial configuration is a bit tricky if doing it on your own, but Manage Engine has a great team to assist.
Web site can be a bit slow at times.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We only have the old "legacy" version of Cisco Meraki for MDM curretnly and it does nothing at all for us.
Endpoint Central is a big step up for our MDM needs.

Great Tool for Centralized Endpoint Management
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about ManageEngine Endpoint Central is its comprehensive set of features that allow for centralized management of diverse operating systems like Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. The intuitive dashboard, combined with powerful automation capabilities, makes it easier for us to monitor and manage all devices from one place. Also, the policy enforcement options for security and compliance are very robust, making it super useful for GDPR-compliant environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup can be a bit overwhelming due to the number of configurations available and I feel like sometimes the solution is over-engineered with a few unnneccesary features like having an MDM and a UEM in one tool but also kind of separate in a way that sometimes the UEM enrollment works but you still need to do a separate MDM enrollment to use the full capabilities of ManageEngine. A more guided onboarding process or built-in tutorials would help users get started faster. Also, while the interface is functional, it could be more modern and visually refined.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ManageEngine Endpoint Central solves the problem of managing and securing a wide range of devices across multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android) from one centralized platform. This unified approach significantly reduces the time and effort required to deploy software updates, enforce security policies, and monitor device health across our organization. The automation capabilities would help us ensure compliance with security standards like GDPR, minimizing the risk of data breaches and reducing manual administrative tasks. This centralized management has improved efficiency and provides peace of mind by giving us better control over all endpoints in our network. so far so good it seems like a really useful tool for cenrealized management.

There are some issues in the configuration part that, despite being described in the product knowledge base, in some cases still require the support to be enabled.
