What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central is its comprehensive feature set that simplifies IT management. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to navigate, while robust functionalities like remote desktop support, patch management, and software deployment streamline everyday tasks. Additionally, the reporting capabilities are impressive, providing valuable insights into system health and performance. Overall, it enhances efficiency and allows IT teams to focus more on strategic initiatives rather than routine maintenance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, my experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central has been very positive. However, the adaptation period can be a bit challenging due to the numerous functionalities it offers. While this is an advantage because it provides many useful tools, new users may need some time to get familiar with all the available options. Despite this, the effort is worth it, as once you adjust, the tool proves to be extremely efficient and powerful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use ManageEngine Endpoint Central for patching and remotely managing configurations on devices, which solves several key problems. It mitigates security risks by automating patch management, ensuring all systems are up to date and reducing the likelihood of cyberattacks. The tool simplifies remote configuration management, allowing me to make changes quickly across multiple devices, which saves valuable time. It also ensures consistency and compliance by maintaining standardized configurations, reducing the chances of misconfigurations. Additionally, the ability to remotely troubleshoot and configure settings enhances user support, improving response times and overall user satisfaction. Overall, ManageEngine Endpoint Central streamlines these processes, leading to increased efficiency and a more secure IT environment.
Lots of features, great multi-OS support, and strong value for the price!
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is extremely comprehensive with an impressive amount of features. The MacOS and Linux support in addition to Windows makes it a great solution for our needs. The Manage Engine team has been extremely helpful and supportive from the very start. The agent is easy to install and makes mangaing your devices very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The large amount of features can mean there is a bit of a learning curve to finding your way around the control portal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As our company is growing, manually managing devices has become impossible. We needed a solution to manage a wide range of devices, across many operating systems including MacOS, iOS, Ubuntu, and Windows, deployed all over the world. We also needed a solution that was affordable, and easily managed without a full time committed role or team. ManageEngine has worked very well for us thus far!
Very efficient and packed with useful features
What do you like best about the product?
Endpoint Central is pretty useful, in terms of functionality it provides everything that we need. For the price they offer the solution for, it really can't be beat.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way the platform works is kinda counter-intuitive, meaning it takes a while to learn how to use the platform to it's full potential. After this learning curve, it's almost a smoth sail till you need to find something to do which you've not had to before and spend 25 minutes trying to figure out where it is in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to almost efficeintly manage our computers and mobile/tablet devices.

What do you like best about the product?
We have beend using endpoint central more then 2 years now. It is easiest tool to manage endpoint, software and patches in our infrastructure. Easiness of integration with other manageengine products is realy helpfull too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Biggest drawback I can think of is there is not big community for manageengine products and when I have some problem frequently finding solution on forums can be hard. on the other hand manageengine support team is always helpfull.

Biggest problem endpoint central is solving is endpoints accounting and controling software updates
Endpoint Central provides a single pane of glass for IT inventory management
What do you like best about the product?
Endpoint Central allows my organization to fully manage our endpoints, be they workstations, servers or mobile devices. As Endpoint Central also allows for management, and configuration of devices of multiple operating systems, this provides a single pane of glass look at our entire IT inventory. With the addition of add-ons, we have been able to replace several separate programs, and rely on Endpoint Central to keep our inventory updated, patched, and secured.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real downfall with using Endpoint Central, or any ManageEngine product for that matter, is the support is all based in India. This sometimes presents issues with communicating any technical issues, and delays the response time if developers must be involved. This is due to a 10 1/2 hour time difference between India and my organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to using Endpoint Central, the organization had used several software solutions to inventory, update, and secure our workstations, servers, and mobile devices. Endpoint Central allows us to accomplish these tasks in a single pane of glass.

sometimes its overwhelming due to its extensive features, which require sometime learning for new users. sometimes you will exprience performance issues or slow response times, especially with larger deployments

Remote support and patch management

Easy to deploy patches to different devices with multiple OS's. Grouping them makes it a breeze

Could do with some more enterprise grade MDM functions

Beng able to deploy patches for multiple OS's for a large amount of devices quickly, efficantly and generally without user disruption.

What do you like best about the product?
Endpoint Central is your one stop shop for endpoint management. It is very easy to use and full of lots of different tools to assist with managing your end points. Support is amazing and quick to respond.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have yet to find anything we dislike with endpoint central
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ednpoint central helpped us to replace a number of different tools into the one console. Patch management is amazing and helps us with all patching especially third party software

Automatic patch update, Remote Control, Remote Shutdown, Browser Security & Inventory

Less possibilities for managing Linux system

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it easily resolves our issues with IT operation, especially when the users required us to come to their office and trobleshoot. By having the computers available via remote connection, I can multi-task and connect to every computers that needs support. Also, the inventory is very helpful in monitoring the devices.
