What do you like best about the product?
I really like Lovable for its quick and easy sign-up process, which means I can get started very quickly without any hassles. It's a product that excels in quickly transforming conceptual ideas into tangible proofs of concept, enabling me to effectively communicate my vision to others. This capability accelerates the initial creation process significantly. The ability for Lovable to provide a workable preview and interact with the application directly enhances my efficiency. The app's chat functionality is particularly useful, allowing me to discuss directly and make changes before diving into coding, which streamlines the workflow. I find it incredibly valuable in saving time and making the overall process smooth and clear. Lovable's transparency in costs and its ease of use are standout features that I find very reliable and solid.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Lovable could be improved by making it a bit easier to integrate with GitHub. Although the integration isn't a major issue, streamlining it could enhance the workflow efficiency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lovable accelerates the initial process of taking conceptual ideas and turning them into tangible proof of concepts quickly, allowing me to easily showcase and get feedback on digital platform ideas.

Love for Lovable, but Cost is a Barrier

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I deeply value Lovable's ability to integrate solutions easily, which significantly simplifies my workflow when developing solutions for companies. This ease of integration with the backend and artificial intelligence allows me to automate processes effectively, something that is essential in my field of work. My passion for Lovable is not just for its practical functionalities, but also for the revolutionary capability it offers to create and sell systems and solutions, enhancing my efficiency and profit. The fact that I have managed to sell an HR indicators system and multiple solutions to different companies is proof of this. I truly appreciate how Lovable has enabled me to reach new financial heights, something I never imagined before. This, combined with the use of other tools like ChatGPT, further enhances the results I can offer to my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the initial setup of Lovable very difficult and it consumed a lot of credits, which is still a problem I face. Spending credits when using the chat mode is something I believe should not happen. Furthermore, the cost for us Brazilians makes the use of the tool very expensive. This limits my ability to make the most of the resources offered by Lovable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lovable to develop solutions and automate processes for companies, generating considerable revenue through indicator systems and inventory control.

You Bear 100% of the Financial Risk for the AI's Mistakes

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
can generate my own program with the AI's help.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system has frequent errors with high credit charges
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I spent 200 credits building a feature. The AI generated code with a critical database error that also broke existing parts of my application.

After a lengthy support conversation, Lovable's team confirmed their official policy in writing: "We are not able to issue refunds or credits for generations that produced broken or unexpected code. Our system charges credits based on completed generations, regardless of output quality."

Let me be clear: This means if their AI produces code that is fundamentally broken and destructive to your project, you still pay for it. All financial risk for the AI's errors is transferred to the user.

The platform has potential, but be very aware of this business model before you invest significantly. You are liable for every credit spent, even on outputs that cause you harm.

What do you like best about the product?
For the first few days using Lovable, it's like magic. You ask it to build something, and it does. You can build semi-functional prototypes very quickly just by prompting it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything else. It's marketed as everything you need to build fully-functional software that people will love. But it's not capable of this -- like many products powered by LLMs: It lies. It forgets things it knew a minute ago. It makes predictable coding errors. It gets basic math wrong (it underestimated OpenAI and Google Places API costs by 5-6x, costing me $1k+).

My experience with 3-4 different projects follows a similar pattern: they start promisingly, then devolve into non-functional messes that are FUBAR'ed -- as a non-coder, there's simply now way I can prompt Lovable to unf*ck its own creation.

This leaves me with projects that never meet acceptance, despite investing hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars working with Lovable.

I honestly wish I had never tried it -- I would still have nothing to show, but I'd have lots of money and months of my life back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Lovable as a non-technical product manager. I was drawn in by the promise that I could build functional software purely through prompting.

Unfortunately, it is not benefiting me. I'd estimate the ROI on using Lovable to be a negative 4-5x (more if I count my time). I've spent tons of time and money trying to get even a single project to ship successfully, and they all fail. I wish I had never used it.

Impressive Code Quality, But Cloud Database Needs Improvement

  • October 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lovable is truly amazing; I'm impressed by its interpretation capabilities and the results it delivers.
I have the confidence of receiving clean and impeccable code in terms of organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, I don't really like the database connected to Lovable Cloud; it has many limitations that hinder the development process. However, since it's optional, it can be avoided.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, the main reason for using Lovable is the speed of development and the security of the applications.

Effortlessly Boosts Efficiency with Rich Features

  • October 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Lovable incredibly easy and efficient to use, especially given my developing skills. It simplifies the process of building business-to-business applications by making it easier to instruct what I want to build. The setup process was super easy. I just started with some prompts and Lovable got most of what I was looking for right, allowing me to build from there. It constructs logic encoding efficiently, saving me from taking forever or spending a lot of money to hire someone else. I really like the AI feature because it allows me to inspect and interact with the code and access the database easily. It's also highly responsive and user-friendly. Additionally, Lovable is great at troubleshooting and overall, it solves many problems for me efficiently. I’ve integrated it with several APIs specific to my trade, and it works seamlessly with all the ones I provided. I am quite happy with it, and it saves me a lot of hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Lovable sometimes uses a lot of credits for troubleshooting issues, especially when it breaks something. This can be quite frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lovable constructs logic efficiently, saving me time and money on business applications. It's excellent at troubleshooting and has made development easier and more efficient for me.

Great for interface construction, needs some fine tweaking

  • October 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is great at using feedback to construct a usable UI that has a simple but effective design. Great for educational content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI can be extremely frustrating to work with at times. It may take 5-10 tries to get it to make a specific, simple fix. Also, the AI usage credits are separate from the site credits to make HTML code changes which was not made aware to me at the time of membership purchase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It takes the skill gap out of HTML coding which is perfect for me who needs a simple but functional website that I would not be able to create without the help of Lovable

    Media Production

Like it but small changes can be very costly

  • October 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very quick results. Ideal for prototyping an rapid devlopment
What do you dislike about the product?
The credit system is fine in general but get's very (very) annoying when small things go wrong and need to be corrected. You can burn 5 credits just to fix a issue that is created by lovable itself (eg how a switch looks) . At the same time creating a new piece of complex functionality can also be 5 credits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building small apps. In my case booking app for a club

Lovable Cloud is a massive step up from the previous Lovable experience

  • October 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of creating an application from scratch, adding a backend, genAI capabilities and publishing it without having to go through complex settings and integrations. Also, the security check and fix feature is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
The credit usage is not straighforward and can be misleading. eg. the "Try to Fix All (free)" security issues that were detected suggests that this action is not using any credits. But it actually does.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not a developer and now I can create working prototypes for my product ideas without having to pay someone to code them for me.
