good for demos, not for real cloud work.
What do you like best about the product?
it can make a simple web app very fast. if i need a quick ui for a demo to show my manager, it works. i just tell it what to build. it deploys automatically which is nice for a prototype. i dont need to make a full ci/cd pipeline for a small test.
What do you dislike about the product?
i have zero control. where is the server? is it in azure? i dont know. i cannot configure the vnet, the subnets, or the nsg rules. this is a very big problem for security. it is not an infrastructure tool. it's for making the app, not managing the cloud part. it uses its own database, i cannot connect to my company's azure sql database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
my team needed a simple dashboard to show the status of our test environments. we needed it in one day. setting up a new app service and pipeline in azure would take time. i used lovable ai to build a simple front-end in one hour just by talking to it. it was not connected to our real data, just for showing the idea. it solved the problem of needing a visual prototype very fast.
A Few Challenges, But Ultimately a Great Tool for App Creation
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Lovable helped me successfully create an online game that my friends and I can play every weekend. Once I figured out to use it in small and tiny iterations, it worked out really well, providing all the features we wanted and allowing us to easily add new features as needed. This flexibility and support for customization was crucial, and knowing I can create another app if needed makes Lovable a valuable tool for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I initially found it difficult to understand how the system worked. It was frustrating because when I asked it to do multiple tasks simultaneously, it wouldn't perform well for any of those tasks. The process improved when I realized it was better to ask the system to carry out small and tiny iterations. I believe a better initial learning or educational video could help new users understand how to get the most out of the system and emphasize the importance of iterating in small steps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lovable to create a custom online game with features we want, replacing lesser alternatives. It enables easy updates and enhances game quality.

What do you like best about the product?
Lovable.dev has truly transformed my experience. It enabled me to turn my ideas into reality without needing any coding skills. I enjoy being able to work on my project daily, making changes and trying out new things whenever I want, all at my own speed. The freedom from having to hire developers or rely on others to make progress is incredible. Lovable has made creating something uniquely mine both straightforward and empowering.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main improvement I’d like to see in the future is a simpler process for deploying apps directly to the Google Play and Apple App Store—this feature would make the experience truly perfect. Additionally, I’ve noticed that sometimes making a change can use up a lot of credits, especially when it unintentionally alters something we didn’t want to change. Over time, we do learn how to prompt more effectively, but this learning process can be costly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lovable is solving the problem of needing coding skills or a full development team to turn an idea into a real, working product. It bridges the gap between imagination and execution — I can design, build, and refine my app exactly how I want it without writing code. This gives me complete control and freedom to move at my own pace, test ideas instantly, and continuously improve my project without waiting on anyone else.

Bridges the gap from a keen amateur programmer to a successful deployment of a sophisticated app with total control in the designer's hands. No more accepting limitations imposed by someone else.

Credits anxiety - unclear pricing around annual vs monthly and whether it is downgradeable once on annual

Lovable's ability to translate loose text into code with speed is amazing. I'm able to pursue all of the side-project ideas I've gathered over the years, and am having a blast.

Their human support line could be bolstered a bit.

Evidently I am not a trained SWE, but I am looking to build. Lovable makes it easy to pursue an idea and craft an MVP iteratively with speed.

I love how easy it is to go from ideation or full on product. It does such a good job in understanding requirements while still creating the best product, based on your prompt

Not understanding why the specific amount of credits was consumed.
