Great tool for development for non-developers
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to use have a great integration that make the development of our app so easy I really recommend it
What do you dislike about the product?
I think they should improve their support via phone, but they have great support that don't afraid to compensate when needed

Help me create an elaborate app even though I have no cuttings experience
A smooth user experience for no-code building
What do you like best about the product?
It is truly no-code (if you choose not to review the codes). It is beautifully integrated with Github and Supabase right there on the interface. Previews allow you to see how your app appears on desktop or mobile, a handy feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've subscribed to their basic level and that does not really give me enough to build a simple app. There is a big jump in price to upgrade to the pro level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do not know how to code. Lovable allows me to build a webapp including integration with database in just a few hours. I previously built the same app using Cursor which took much longer, with a more complicated interface, and more errors.
I tried LOTS of other tools, but this is by FAR the best
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve tried LOTS of tools, but Lovable stands out as the best by far. The platform is incredibly intuitive, easy to use, and feels tailor-made for developers. It has significantly streamlined my workflow, and I can confidently say it’s 10x better than competitors like Bolt.new and Windsurf. The speed, functionality, and clean design make it a joy to use. It allows me to focus on coding and building instead of struggling with clunky features. - It does not make as many errors as other tools!
What do you dislike about the product?
There was some confusion initially regarding the usage limits as it wasn’t clearly visible in the dashboard while editing code. However, this is a minor issue and doesn’t take away from how impressive the platform is overall. A clearer display of limits in the interface would make it even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not a developer, so it helped me create my own custom built CRM for my software sales.

The best thing about Lovable.dev is its ease of use. If I have an idea, I just type a prompt, and it creates exactly what I need instantly. This simplicity has made it an indispensable tool for me—I find myself using it every day!

Limited Customization: While the templates are great, I found the customization options somewhat restricted.

GPT Engineer is a great tool. I like it because we can easily create web applications with it. With a detailed description of what I want to create, GPT Engineer is a blessing for new developers.

GPT Engineer is beneficial for my prototyping as I am a web developer. The first and most obvious feature is the ability to interact with the AI and write code snippets based on the free text description is extremely fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Debugging tools are not well developed in GPT Engineer that is why it can be challenging to identify errors’ root. I think this is somewhat discouraging, particularly when one is working on a large assignment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GPT Engineer really boosts my website development productivity since I do not need to write code for routine functions anymore. It allows me to concentrate on other aspects of development more unique to my job and fun application coding problems.
Easily export the generated code for further refinement

For a web developer as myself, GPT Engineer has been an interesting tool for idea generation and even quick mockups. I can now have a conversation with an AI to type code snippets and see different designs in my initial development stages.

Sometimes the generated code itself is wrong or has existing function discrepancies. This means that I spend my time reviewing the code for errors that need to be debugged before incorporating it into my projects.

There is nothing that I would say I dislike, especially with the recent update.
I would only suggest including more video tutorials to align with the upgrades and emails shared with the users.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GPT Engineer is assisting in bringing ideas to life in quicker and cost-effective way. It allows me to create and implement concepts that would have taken a long time to develop and would have been more costly to bring up to my desired standard using the traditional way.
With the platform I can prototype and iterate any of my ideas , test and refine it to the my ideal finish without the need for extensive coding knowledge, although, having basic knowlege would help speed up the process, and with fraction of te cost.
As an example, I was able to create complex tasks that involved authentications to any person that is given access to my webpage (using the power for superbase integration). Also, by being able to store multiple API keys, I was able to call upon and carry out multiple steps on the same page. This included fetching coordinates of a location, then using the same coordinates to get the weather forecast, and finally utilizing the weather forecast to provide suggestions on how this data can be implemented. It's worth mentioning that all the above was carried out by simply describing the task on the chat interface and GPTengineer was able to execute the necessary steps to fulfill the request.
