User-Friendly Interface, But Video Uploads Are a Hassle
What do you like best about the product?
easy to use, fast, direct and straightforward
What do you dislike about the product?
the hassle to upload a video even if it's 5 second long
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
team brainstorming
Excellent for Visualizing Flows, But Limited Free Export Options
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the functionality of Miro. It is a great tool for illustrating complex flows and diagrams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The features in Miro are not available for free. Additionally, it is not possible to download forms and files in a convenient format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro provides effective tools for mapping business processes within the company, which helps to create a clear understanding of the roles and functions of all participants involved in a project.
Amazing tool to visually work real-time with people in many different countries
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that you can draw, annotate and work real-time with colleagues and friends from all over the world has been SUCH an amazing addition to both my work and student time through the years. We use it for everything! For classes, for competitions, for every-day work. It makes collaboration so easy when you work in a global setting where you're likely to share projects with people in many different countries.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main issue I've encountered through the years is the fact that as a project develops, the board becomes heavier and heavier. This is mostly due to the fact that we work a lot with images and sketching -- two very heavy elements. I would love to see some sort of fix on this like say 'display settings' on images to make them display low res like in InDesign, or maybe turning our drawing lines into whichever format is less heavy than current lines are.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to work with teammates who do not live in the same country in real time. Being able to sketch, write and share images on a shared platform, see all their activities, and work as a team as if we're sitting right next to each other working on the same desk.
Great for Team Visibility, But Can Get Cluttered
What do you like best about the product?
It helps me understand what’s currently going on in the tea. who’s working on what and what still needs to be done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it feels a bit cluttered and hard to navigate when there are too many boards or elements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us keep track of ongoing tasks, dependencies, and priorities in a clear, visual way — which makes collaboration smoother and reduces misunderstandings within the team.
Highly Customizable Boards, But Limited by Plan Restrictions
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how customizable the boards are, and I find their aesthetic very appealing. They make it simple to create clear visual representations of processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our current plan restricts us to just a handful of boards, and we recently reached that limit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us visualize our processes effectively. As a sales leader, I deal with many factors that influence our workflows. Miro enables us to see the whole process, from lead generation to closing, in a straightforward and accessible manner.
Excellent for Process Diagrams, But Has a Few Drawbacks
What do you like best about the product?
Great way to diagram a process in a way that makes it easy for others to quickly understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took me a while to learn how to use it- not all of the menu buttons are intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps organize an otherwise confusing process in a way that makes it easy for others to understand.
Perfect for Collaborative Creativity and Workshops
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a great tool for group-based creative work and workshops, as well as diagraming (whether user journeys or technical diagrams).
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little feedback -- AI tools are not quite there yet, but as expected given this isn't the core.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helpful to have a platform that supports easily creating and collaborating on visual concepts. Aids more productive collaboration and working through concepts that are difficult or impractical to address in text / voice format.
Intuitive Interface and Great Tools, But Sticky Note Deletion Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is easy and intuitive. Plenty of tools and elements to create easily-digestible compilations of information. Easy to connect elements to show relationships and flows. Good export options to fit different presentation formats and use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to delete all sticky notes within a frame without clicking on each one (perhaps the feature is there but it wasn't immediately apparent).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Capturing diverse thinking and views across teams, including clients, and synthesising those into shareable resources for projects and further analysis.
It streamlines collaboration and gives people collated information for future reference, overcoming information leakage after workshops.

Easy Flow Creation, But Slow Connections Can Frustrate
What do you like best about the product?
The place where flows can be easily created.
What do you dislike about the product?
The part/area where the connection is slow/heavy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps align understanding within the company.
Flexible, Integrative, and Template-Rich—Minor Organization Tweaks Needed
What do you like best about the product?
I work in digital strategy, and I use Miro almost every day. I like that Miro is extremely flexible and integrates with a ton of different tools. We've used Miro for everything from website design concepting to analytics reporting to sprint training. Miro's investment in building a community of templates has been another awesome improvement over the past few years -- templates make things much faster and easier to get started!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes looking at a blank Miro board can be tough because you don't know where to start, but I do think that the growing template library has helped diminish the instances of "blank page syndrome" when trying to get work started! The only thing I dislike is that there is no additional options for "nesting" information aside from organizing boards and content into "Spaces". We have a space per client, but it would be helpful to be able to organize information by project within that client space. All in all that's a super minor inconvenience vs. a major turn off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro really helps us bring a lot of different kinds of information into one place to help move projects forward. We have tinkered with Figjam as an extension of Figma as a replacement, but it doesn't come close to the features, ease of use, and pricing and account structure Miro offers.
