Intuitive and Precise for Event Layouts

  • March 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for precise hall layout planning for a regional science fair. I love its grid-based precision for sizing, locating, and aligning rectangles, plus adding flexibly formattable text annotations, all of which is great for event layout work. The intuitive, easy-to-use user interface is a major plus for me. I also appreciate the high-resolution export capability, including vector option, which is perfect for professional printing of maps and signage. The initial setup experience with Miro was excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be very helpful when duplicating a frame to have the option to also duplicate the Locked/Unlocked status of all elements in the frame.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me identify the number of tables and rows needed for events, create different layout versions, and support grid-based precision and text annotations. The user interface is intuitive, and its high-resolution export capability is perfect for professional map printing.

Intuitive and Customizable Tool for Global Team Collaboration

  • March 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Miro is very intuitive with a lot of ready-made features that make things super easy to use. It saves me time because I don't need to spend a lot of time setting things up. I can quickly do things using a template. Plus, if I have a specialized use case, Miro offers a lot of different options to customize exactly to my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have a difficult time just navigating within the space. I understand how frames and things work but just having it be a big open board can be challenging. Sometimes I struggle with text sizing and making everything sort of line up based off of the current view that I'm in. I recognize I haven't necessarily explored all the different options. Usually, I'm when I'm creating something in Miro, it's because I have a specific use case, so I kind of just make it fit that use case. And I haven't really had the opportunity to sit and play around and experiment with things as much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps our global team collaborate effectively, enabling input from everyone during workshops. It ensures equal voice and prevents loss of opinions, while supporting asynchronous work with flexible tools to gather input at convenient times.

Excellent for Collaboration, Needs Smoother Access Controls

  • March 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Miro makes it easier to share and collaborate with others in a freeform way, while also allowing for structured work, which speeds things up for me. I appreciate being able to get a lot of people together in the same virtual space and even record myself if people can't make it to a meeting. I really like how it allows for collaboration workshops and showing my work. The document and tables features are great, and I'm finding the AI prompts interesting too. I sometimes use the templates, which help make my work easier and allow me to organize myself better.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the access is sometimes an issue for us. It's very hard to sometimes get every single stakeholder on the same board. Now there are some things that you need to add to your license to be able to use, like another premium seat, which is a bit weird, since we already have an enterprise license. Ocassionally, boards take quite long to load, when they get ti a bigger size. Something else that I think could be improved is to be easier to organize documents, and boards, as they tend to get messy really quick!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro makes it easier to share and collaborate in a free-form yet structured way, speeding up work.

I work with photography and its a way to visualise lots of works in one place.

Miro Makes Brainstorming and Workshops Fast, Collaborative, and Template-Rich

  • March 18, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Love the infinite canvas and tons of templates — makes it super quick to get going, so implementation was pretty painless. The support team’s been helpful when we’ve needed them, and we use Miro almost daily for brainstorming, planning, and workshops. Integrations with Slack/Google Drive/Figma save time, and the real-time cursors/comments/voting keep everyone involved
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall great, but it can get laggy on very large boards and mobile editing isn’t as smooth as desktop
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us run remote workshops, map user journeys, and do quick brainstorming without juggling a bunch of files. The shared infinite canvas makes it easy to capture ideas in one place, and the built-in templates, voting, and timers speed up decision-making

Facilitates Collaboration, Needs Steeper Learning

  • March 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use of Miro, which makes collaboration across multiple users seamless. The visuals are also a big plus and enhance the experience. I find the sticky notes feature especially helpful for brainstorming sessions, and the process maps aid in understanding all steps, handoffs, and stakeholder inputs effectively. Miro makes it easy to capture the thoughts of all team members on demand.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the learning curve to be able to function in the platform. The initial setup was also time consuming. I feel there should be on demand training and tips in the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to connect stakeholders, fill communication gaps, and streamline metric reviews. It captures all team members' thoughts instantly and maps processes for clarity on steps and handoffs.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro's flexible functionality that lets me do a variety of exercises like mapping customer journeys, brainstorming and organizing ideas, structuring complex projects, and organizing information. It really helps with mapping expansion journeys to build more targeted customer campaigns. I also enjoy sharing spaces with my team, which makes collaboration so much easier. The initial setup of Miro was easy too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Large boards are confusing with zooming in and out, moving objects around, etc. Also, improve search and navigation features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It solves visual mapping problems and offers flexible functionality for activities like mapping customer journeys and structuring complex projects. I find it valuable for sharing spaces with my team and organizing information effectively.

Miro Makes Real-Time Collaboration and Planning Effortless

  • March 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an excellent collaboration platform that helps teams think, plan, and create together in real time. My team and I have used it extensively for a variety of activities, including storyboarding, mapping out project timelines, and developing detailed user stories. Its flexible canvas and library of templates make it easy to visualize ideas, align on priorities, and keep everyone working from the same shared source of truth.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only challenge I’ve encountered with Miro is that sharing boards can sometimes be inconvenient, especially when collaborating with teammates or stakeholders who don’t already have access to the platform. This can lead to extra steps in granting permissions or exporting content. Aside from that, I’ve found Miro to be an exceptional tool for any product team. Its collaborative features make it easy to create, plan, and stay aligned throughout the entire product development process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves several key collaboration and alignment challenges that product teams often face. First, it provides a shared visual workspace that makes it easy for distributed teams to brainstorm, map workflows, and refine ideas in real time. Instead of juggling static documents or scattered notes, everything lives in one interactive, flexible space.

Miro also streamlines complex planning activities, such as storyboarding, building project timelines, and defining user stories, by giving teams a structured yet creative way to organize information. This reduces ambiguity, increases alignment, and helps ensure that everyone understands the direction and priorities.
|
The main benefit for me is that Miro creates clarity. It turns abstract conversations into visual artifacts that are easier to reference, refine, and share. Even though sharing boards with people who don’t already have access can be a bit cumbersome at times, the overall impact is overwhelmingly positive. It accelerates collaboration, supports better decision‑making, and keeps the team aligned from strategy through execution.
