It has been most useful to draw arch diagrams although usability could be improved a lot

What do you like best about the product?
The interactive elements present in the Miro board.. I worked on a AWS microservice project and i use Visio normally for arch diagrams. But Miro has this repo of interactive elements that i can drag and drop for my lambda functions, cloudfront etc which made my job way easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Please organise your comments section like a peek panel in the side when i click on it .. instead it shows a number and i have to click on it .. Go in and then click and then view the thread .

Also give me free writing pen option so when i use mouse and i can write across the drawing .. Like the pen in slack to help me during demos.

Easy and quick whip up of tech diagrams
Live comments and discussion during my retrospectives and yet anonymous

Very easy to use and quick to learn all the features. I use it for almost every project I start, and for workshops. I am also able to insert pictures and diagrams from the board easily into presentations.

Hard to use without a mouse, so it is limited outside of desk use. I prefer to use it at my desk and struggle to scroll around the screen without a mouse handy.

Collaborative whiteboard solution for IT architecture

  • May 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to interact in real-time with colleagues in the development of a wide range of content. Create architecture diagrams, work planning artifacts, and presentation materials with the ability to gather everyone's input while not requiring file locking or any type of coordinatation between participants.
What do you dislike about the product?
infintely scrollng canvas can be disorienting when trying to find shared content with colleagues.

Miro allows my geographically distributed team to work in real-time on architecture diagrams and whiteboard concepts. It is a responsive platform that makes it feel like we are sitting next to each in the office. This removes the physical barrier and allows us to interact more efficiently.
