What do you like best about the product?
we Agile Coaches facilitate a lot of ceremonies, workshops, trainnings and awareness and MIRO is the perfect tool to help us specially the feature of recording a video and users can follow our presentation / board while they listen to our video.

Best collaboration tool for the new hybrid-working norm

  • January 10, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is so intuitive to use and even if I am collaborating with colleagues who have never used it before, it is super easy to integrate into BAU. Being able to have guests on boards, control access and rights and having team and project areas is invaluable. It has everything you need in terms of tools from post-it notes to value stream mapping diagram shapes. I utilise the templates every day and love how it allows me to test ideas, and visualise and communicate concepts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features do hinder productivity and can be frustrating - such as the tables. Some functionality does not appear in the app as it does in browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to map and diagram - not just remotely but also easily and collaboratively.

The adoption of Miro has been limited to a few use cases

  • January 10, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Having a practically infinite space where you can collaborate with other team members instantly. The movements and actions of the teammates are seen live and it works very well. Additionally, the number of templates it has created.

Another positive point is the integration with Microsoft Teams since, if you use this environment, being able to sync a Miro board with your team is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
First of all, the work environments, where you have different "boards" saved when working with different teams, can be difficult to find. This makes the best way to find the board I'm looking for to save the link in my browser's bookmarks.

Secondly, although Miro integrates well with Teams, for example, other products are developing similar solutions. I think it would benefit from additional features that provide interactivity, such as checkboxes, dropdown lists with options, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is especially useful when we brainstorm, for example, to improve internal processes within the team. I have also used it to develop an organization's strategy; it was very useful for creating a simple framework that various team members could collaborate on. Lastly, we have also used Miro for retrospective sessions, where the team explained what had worked and what hadn't, and then it's easy to share with the managers.

Miro is an efficient co-working tool for various team setups

  • January 10, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I can see all the changes live without someone having to publish a version or something. In a meeting no one has to share a screen to present since people can just follow the presentor in their own computer. It works efficiently in both, large workdhops and smaller meetings as just a meeting notes tool. It is easy to get started with it and share/onboard to new users as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The boards can get pretty massive which obviously makes them less usable. It is easy to add content and for that reason it is also easy to outdate the old content on the board sofrom that perspective it needs someone to be maintaining and being on top of things. The (mac) application gets updates quite often and has to be restarted. If the organisation uses Miro broadly, it is sometimes hard to remember which board had the certain info and the searching from 'all the b oards ever created ' can be challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have people in multiple countries in my time and we rarely get to sit in one room. Miro helps in bringing people together in meetings and gives an extra layer of depth to the discussions since it provides vidual aids that someone has already prepared. It is also a lot more fun than having a text document or something as meeting notes. In Miro it is also easy to build "stages" for the discussion in seconds like "hey wait a minute, this looks like a bug that has to be solved by another team. I'll create a box where we can land such blockers and we'll tag the needed persons here as well".

Great collaboration and co-creation tool for teams

  • January 10, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a user resercher very often in my role I found myself looking for the best way to work together in defriefing findings with my team and stakeholders; Miro has proven to be the best option for this on top of other research tools.

The curve of learning is fast, with a brief explanation you can have everyone creating and moving posts its to collaborate.

When you are creating a workshop, you don't need to start from scratch, as their area know as the Miroverse will give you plenty of templates to work with.

My product team also likes that we can build Oppportunity solution trees and then move the prioritised opportunites to Jira. So Miro allows you to go through ideation, collaboration and then moving it to planning. I use Miro everyday and my peers as well, as proven my 12 Miro tabs opened at this time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are problems sometimes when managing tables and wanting to build a diagram inside the table, the arrows just go crazy and it can be really frustrating but my dislike it's more about functionality than lack of purpose from the tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storytelling effectively, debriefing research with coworkers who are not used repository tools, making sense of the chaos of information in a platform where I can see everything at the same time and move everything easily to find patters.

In short, helps me to communicate effectively and also to allow ideas to spark by collaboration with the team.

The perfect tool to fire up a project

  • January 10, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to invite other people and let them join a new or existing project. With little to no explaining, new users can jump in, share their thoughts and start adding their feedback, stickies and media.
You can start with the basic features or you can add a multitude of add-ons and extra's, making a Miro board even more powerful.

I have been using Miro for many years now, across 3 companies I worked for. Quickly discussing some basic sketches with stakeholders and team members as a UX Designer, but also creating roadmaps and timelines for the time I was a Product Owner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Copying contents form one board to another is sometimes a hassle when you're not the board's administrator. This is by design, but sometimes annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alignment across stakeholders. Quickly creating a project to get everything and everyone together to solve a problem visually.
