Miro provides countless templates to choose from to make your product ideation and strategy sessions
What do you dislike about the product?
For my purposes, it would be helpful to have the 'upload photo' link pinned to the quick tool links.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is a quick and efficient way for me to map our user flows, among many other processes. Miro has been incredibly helpful for me to organize my product ideas and articulate it in a clear way for my team (non-design and non-dev) to understand.

Miro m'aide à m'organiser au quotidien. J'ai besoin d'avoir beaucoup d'informations sous les yeux pour suivre mes projets et structurer ma démarche. Tout est visuel et favorise le partage de connaissances avec mes collaborateurs. J'apprécie de trouver des modèles, cela me fait gagner du temps.

Sur le plan gratuit, le partage d'un projet ouvre l'accès à mes autres projets, ce qui n'est pas toujours une bonne chose. J'espère que le plan payant m'offrira plus de confidentialité.

Miro is vital to the way we work at SKAO to deliver software for our telescopes
What do you like best about the product?
It easily manages to provide a shared whiteboard experience for over 30 globally distributed development teams and is connected to our Jira server allowing seamless interaction between backlogs in Jira and more graphical planning and design activities. As a result Miro is part of our daily work.
We also use the Miro API to extend Miro to add custom content and support for this on the forums is first-class.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the shapes in the UML toolbox could be improved or give more customisation. Without this i find the need to resort to using the draw.io plugin but would prefer to work natively in Miro.
There are also a few edge cases like how objects behave inside tables such as how grouping works (or doesn't) for items inside a table that could be improved. To group items that are in a table at the moment, its necessary to take them out of the table, group them and move them back in for example - this is slightly awkward.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We make use of Miro for pretty much all of our collaborative software development activities from problem solving workshops, planning boards, backlog development boards, roadmaps graphics, mapping out product trees, software diagrams UML or otherwise.
SKAO software involves over 30 globally distributed teams and having a tool that gives a virtual space for collaborative activities is vital to the way we work and Miro does a great job at that.

What do you like best about the product?
With every updates it gets even better. Miro can provide space for so many different applications for nearly every need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Big spaces can slow down the performance

Working together remote is great with Miro. The achievements are digitized.

Excellent tool for collaborating with the team in a remote setting
What do you like best about the product?
The real time collaboration ability of users - which is incredibly important in a company that largely works remotely.
Also the templates available are incredibly useful for a quick brainstorming ssession.

Slightly confusing to get to grips with the use of all the different functions on Miro at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The use of collaborating real time with our team who are based remotely.
Better than real world stickies
What do you like best about the product?
With distributed and asynchronous work becoming the new norm, our teams have greatly benefited from staying up-to-date with collaborative efforts. The new AI and sorting features are massive time-savers, helping us synthesize large amounts of work efficiently. the UI is easy to adopt by new users.
What do you dislike about the product?
It might be due to my own proficiency with the tool, but a major issue I’ve encountered is the use of icons. Searching for and using icons in a single style or family has been difficult, and it’s also challenging to easily change the icon colors to illustrate certain concepts. The usability of the AI can be hit or miss, but I do notice regular improvements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Version control for idea and concept generation and refinement has been an issue. Now, capturing and storing reference material, flows, designs, and decision registries is done in a single space accessible to the entire team. This approach helps with “time to market” and makes the team operationally more efficient.
Becoming a one-stop shop
What do you like best about the product?
The speed by which it allows me to captures ideas with a degree of structure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes struggle to find content on the board and as a consequence end up scrolling around and zooming in/out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I often use Miro for business modelling ideas because it helps to bring visual elements and written copy together in one place. That helps provide an at-a-glance visual overview of the idea, as well as the option to dive deeper into content with written commentary - all in one place.
