What do you like best about the product?
I love having an infinite panel in which multiple templates can be combined (from those available or designed by me) to adapt to any need of my clients
What do you dislike about the product?
at first it was difficult for me to fully understand the different payment accounts and their options to select the most suitable for me and my work with clients
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have obtained an essential tool for collaboration with my clients and colleagues remotely. Easy to use, allows a lot of creativity and productivity

Amazing tool for collaboration

  • May 18, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro helped me during the lockdown to work collaboratively with the team, exactly like when we were in the office, and sometimes better. It is a fundamental tool in our workflow for brainstorming, decision making, and co-design activities. We often use Miro boards as addition specifications for sofware developers, both exported as images or PDF and directly linked into DevOps cards.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't easy to handle big groups of anonymous users. It happens a lot when we run a big workshop with persons external to our organization that aren't autonomous in exporting information and other activities. The voting system isn't so intuitive to use for first-comers. The wireframe library could be bigger, I usually prefer to sketch with shapes and text. Make it easier to draw lines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Powerful whiteboard for co-design activities, both with designers and developers
- Make it easy to handle big meetings with a lot of essential stakeholders, making the conversation more structured and easy to manage
- Perfect to collect inspirational material for market analysis, user testing, and UX design
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use a lot the guest access to make it every day in the organization to see Miro boards, and it can be not easy to understand the concept if you never used collaborative whiteboards.

Flexible & Collaborative

  • May 18, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of toolset, limitless board space, collaborative ability
What do you dislike about the product?
Wireframing tools need some development: limited states, options, and odd sizing behavior. Pricing could be better for enterprise customers. Super frustrating that I cannot downgrade a user from the team back to guest
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Miro for visualizing and documenting software discovery and design outputs. It is a great tool to help the team get on the same page.

World class collaboration & ideation tool

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. The UI is extremely easy accessible, and makes it really easy for people who are less tech-savvy to contribute to Miro boards
What do you dislike about the product?
As much as we'd like to, I'll never get away from needing to create powerpoints. Exporting frames into a more PPT friendly format would be good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming with less words. It's helping us to become more visual & tap into that creative side of our brains!

Miro is also helping us move away from traditional documentation methods for internal uses where straight to the point visual boards do the trick

Workshop, meetings, brainstorming, planning, retrospectives, design sprint, design thinking, Lean UX, Wireframes

Miro is a space where I can share proposals quickly and align different teams

  • May 18, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I can screenshot and put in there different concepts and ideas and align them in the board, and it's also very useful to conduct workshops.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have more boards in the free version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing my ideas and having in a single space briefing specs and aligning stakeholders without having to switch among tools.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend it to cross-functional teams, especially if they involve designers and other stakeholders, also to conduct workshops.

What do you like best about the product?
functionality, how it allows you to interact with co-workers
What do you dislike about the product?
The short trial time that the tool has. It could be more extensive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A retrospective with the team. It helped me in facilitating the scrum team
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a collaborative tool that has multiple uses. I used it to guide a retrospective and other Scrum Ceremonies. It was helpful. I tried others collaborations tools and this is the most complete.

A fantastic product for remote teams

  • May 18, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy team collaboration is easily the best feature. I also really like access to templates and integration with Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't support multiple accounts. For example, as a consultant, I use Miro with my client-provided email and my own company's email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team communication around features and initiatives, team product discovery sessions, retrospectives
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Of all of the virtual whiteboards out there Miro is easily the most enjoyable to use. The available templates are top quality, it's easy to move around the board, and to my eyes feels the best visually.

Miro is a game changer

  • May 18, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro changed the way we have our daily meetings and ideation sessions. The collaboration features provides freedom to the users. The possibility to bring everyone to your viewpoint is great. Besides it, even when working solo, it is a great tool, because it allows you something close to the feeling of a blank paper sheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
We lack something like formulas on spreadsheets. It would be interesting to insert tables inside table cells, to give you the freedom to zoom in for more details inside a specific cell. Another thing nice would be to use scales to measure drawings, more pencil, brushes and color options, and the possibility to insert xreferenced 3d models (sketchup, bim...). The exporting tool could allow you to choose which sheets to make pdf. It could be something odd, but having a tool that could simulate dice throwing would be useful for contests. Another nice addition could be the possibility to play background music, and audio effects to call someone in particular, or everybody.Play videos on the board. Hide and reveal parts of the board, something like dynamic light centered on each user cursor. The possibility to export the mind maps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visual planning, meeting support, ideation sessions, dashboard with Google sheets xreferenced files, basic image edition, social media content planning, creating backlog for activities, creating moodboards for every new project with image references, links to videos, links to external sites to ring additional information related to the content we are working on, agenda for meetings and to keep contacts, relating them.

Miro became my main project management tool

  • May 18, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Performance is amazing, I really like how everything is moving so fast considering the amount of content I drop inside my boards. My research always includes so many screenshots & images & it's great to be able to generously add whatever I want. I really like the presentation mode feature and the fact that I can hide boards from certain teammates. It really helped me promote Miro within my team, they all really dependent on Google slides.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. I'm missing a way to sync things I design in extended software like Sketch or XD.
2. I really want to create nice presentations on Miro, and as a designer, I'm missing basic typography capabilities such as character/ line spacing, creating grid & uploading fonts.
3. Although I think Miro's performance is great, sometimes I wish I could make loading faster, and I think that adding a capability of presenting only chosen boards could be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First and foremost it is a tool for documenting product projects. From the research phase to the transition of design to development. For me, this is a great way to share ideas with my team members, present them with complex diagrams, draw ideas quickly and get feedback on them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is the most amazing tool for any project related to design or visual elements. In my opinion, any team that creates together ideas should use Miro, and document the work in it. I'm definitely trying to implement Miro into my team as much as possible and slowly it's seeping through.
