What do you like best about the product?
The tool is super simple and intuitive. The way how it combines indefinite board capability with frames/slides is revolutionary. Any there are templates for any type of workshop you're running.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm using Miro on mac, and downloaded the desktop app. I can't get my head around if there's a reason why anyone would use desktop app when all features are available in web app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ideation sessions, strategic road mapping, brainstorming sessions, work breakdown sessions

What do you like best about the product?
Their drawing tools are super responsive than others on market. I tried other tools that slowdowns when drawing a large diagram. Their coloring tool allows me to group my ideas to think broader. Also, Sticky notes allow me to tag special notes over diagrams. Google image search tool is amazing for presentations diagram.
What do you dislike about the product?
Actually, until today they provide all I need. Love everything. 😇
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Miro to visualize software architectures and software problem solving while programming. Sharing options give our team to collaboratively solve problems related to our products.

Creative, visual, collaborative & fun!

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a fantastic collaboration tool, be it for small or large teams! It's more fun to use than a physical board because of the many features it provides, like uploading documents, images, etc., without worrying about losing all the creative stuff the team develops. I love that Miro provides innumerable templates and examples to get started; it's one of those tools where you don't get overwhelmed or intimated once you start using it. I see many cool features getting added regularly, and I can't get enough of Miro!
What do you dislike about the product?
I will like to have more editable boards in the free version!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming, problem-solving, and solution identification

    Computer Software

Easy to use flexible and colaborative.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that a group can work on a scope map or a flow diagram at the same time and most things are really easy to figure out. I love drawing shapes and connecting lines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish I could copy a chape and past to replace it. Eg. Copy my green chape with "Text", select my blue shape with "other text" and past to just replace that shape with the copied one without having to manually edit or replace.

Also wish I had WASD to look around (not just coz I'm a gamer) as I use the mouse with my right hand constantly and using the arrow keys with my left hand is awkward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm often using Miro to plan logical problems for software development tasks. If a complex situation arises it's super handy to visualize what would happen and plan out possible edge cases that could go wrong. And when you find something is going to be much more complicated than expected you can easily screenshot it and post it in a chat so others can instantly see what you mean without long typing sessions.

Great online alternative to Visio for quick and easy diagram creation.

  • May 12, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We find Miro much easier to use compared to Visio. We also use the collaboration features very heavily within our design team, as we are not often in the same location.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little time consuming to find symbols for technical diagrams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Miro within our business to brainstorm ideas, and to prepare diagrams for use in design documentation. It has replaced the use of Visio, a tool that we all hate due to its many quirks and frustrating ways of working.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for an alternative to Visio, Miro is quicker and easier to use, and provides collaboration features that Visio just doesn't have.

A fantastic collaborative, multi-purpose tool

What do you like best about the product?
I like how many different visual options there are for collaboration and planning. The templates and shared boards from other users are fantastic, as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to be able to hyperlink locked elements so that the board could serve as a doorway into other boards or resource pages for a public user, but that user wouldn't be able to move items or change the formatting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've used it for Zoom Design Thinking exercises, for creative writing workshops for students, for planning and storyboarding novels, for brainstorming and planning marketing content, for brainstorming and warm-up activities, and for problem-solving and strategic planning.

Very useful tool for online collaboration and facilitation

  • May 11, 2021

What do you like best about the product?
I like the endless board the most, allowing my team and myself to span around complex projects. Miro helps us to visualize the steps of our endeavors, showing insight into different challenges and goals. The powerful visualization tools help me coordinate team efforts in my projects. I also really like tre "frames" option, when I lock them they provide a good structure to work on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have purchased a "team" subscription plan, as I facilitate a team of two startup owners, plus their advisors. This plan is limited as it asks me to purchase additional licenses for everybody who wants to do more than comment on the board. Additionally, I've just seen that they now sell "$10 per member/month billed monthly", while I was charged 15$ just two weeks ago per member in this plan.
Also, I am not a big fan of constant reminders that something is new and that I should try it out every now and then.
Also, Miro does have a certain learning curve that should be follwed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've solved problems regarding visualization and coordination of project steps in my ongoing projects. Miro is mostly beneficial for online work and remote work.
In these times it is hard to collaborate while staying at home, and Miro really helps my clients and myself to get to the goals fast and with substantial motivation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It would help if you tried it out. It does make a difference.

Great collaboration tool! especially in current times

  • May 11, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it is a real-time whiteboard tool that I can share with everyone on my team. We use Miro to map out plans for our projects, track progress, generate solutions and ideas with stakeholders, and visualize concepts. It is essential to me in my current role as a Product Manager, and I would recommend it to anyone that works with a remote team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more integrations. I use JIRA for managing work with my team but would like to use one tool and have it reflect in the other. I would also like to see more templates that are maybe community-generated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication. The tool allows me to communicate with a remote team about plans and ideate solutions with them. Stakeholders also use the tool to get updates from the product team as we use it for all our planning

I love Miro; it does everything I need

  • May 11, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro's ease of use and clean, intuitive user interface set it apart from the competition. I love that it has web, macOS, and iOS apps that work great. Miro is always ahead of the curve with new and useful features that make remote workshopping nearly as easy and natural as in person.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any major issues with Miro. There are some features around presenting frames that could be improved so that Miro can replace PowerPoint or Keynote.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to facilitate remote design team meetings and workshops. My clients prefer using Miro to the competition. I've also found that I'm using Miro more in my day-to-day work for personal brainstorming and planning removing the need for other software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro just works. As a software designer, I can't find a lot to complain about. It does everything I need and integrates with the design tools I use.

It got everything I got for the workshops with my clients. I try to do sone Design Sprint excercise

  • May 11, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Its SUPER EASY to understand in just 2 minutes. Super intuitive for my clients to start using it. That a really plus for me. Also, there is no need for login, in 2 clicks my clients can be using Miro and in 2 minutes they are already experts
I can draw in a beautiful way all my thoughts and ideas and share it with people in my company or with clients. Visually is awesome. The era of powerpoint is over for me
What do you dislike about the product?
Its not very personalized and informal. That what I like about figjam, the got some cool themes, stickers, ways to use a sticky notes. Thats a +1 in the delightfulness of the product. In conclusion, Figjam is fun to use and Miro is only super useful
Also i dont like the lack of "emojiness" of the platform. In workshops I need to maintain people entertain, so I need resources for that, if the platform is too serious, people might get bored.
Maybe an Product Tour Onboarding might be super useful for any guest that enter my boards. Right now I have to add an personal onboarding chart to make them use miro before the workshop but that can be automated by the platform itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Design problems Its super useful for documentig in a visual way results and findings. I facilitate workshops and, contrary to a physical workshop, a remote one in Miro got everything documented. Also, people are tire of looking at powerpoints slides, Miro is a great visual change for my audience in terms of presentation
For example: I been working projects like "how to increase the digital usage of a product" or "how can be improved the customer experiencia in gas station". And in my boarda I add dashboards, study results, customer Journey Maps and much more
Right now Im working in the design of a new app for the medical field. A real challenge, but using tools like miro my clients trust that I know what Im doing
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I always make them do a couple of simple excercise just to know the basic of the platform and get ready to go
