Amazing tool for remote workers

  • December 17, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I prefer in Miro is the fact that it's a collaborative tool, that can be used by several users at the same time and help building amazing workflows online.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still improvements to do with AI on the Ai creation (diagram, workflows..)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The first problem that is solving is helping inside remote teams.
I also love how easy it is to create workflows and wireframes to then share to the team.
Miro is very easy to use, it's collaborative and have real-time/instant updates. It's really helpful to work in a collaborative way to solve issues, to brainstorm and to build together.

Great big brainstorming spaces

What do you like best about the product?
As a marketer, planning is at the heart of what I do—campaigns, content, strategies, and everything in between. I used to rely on paper: notebooks, scraps, and post-its scattered across my desk, all covered in my awful handwriting.

Miro has been a game-changer, helping me organise information seamlessly, whether through lists, charts, diagrams, images, or links—whatever works best for the task at hand. I use it pretty much every day.

Even better, Miro enables my team to collaborate in real-time on the same board. Whether we’re planning activities, brainstorming ideas, or running retrospectives, it brings us together and makes our work more efficient and aligned.

Miro runs in a browser and the interface is pretty intuitive so it's really easy to implement. And once you master the keyboard shortcuts, you can create boards really quickly.

I've only once had an issue (a frame had disappeared and taken all the contents with it) but customer support was really responsive and keen to fix the issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe it's just me, but I struggle to maintain scale on my boards. I'll start with all my notes being uniform and neat, but eventually get to a point where things are wildly different sizes. I'd like a feature that either locks the scale of elements or some kind of AI tool that can make my boards neat and tidy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro takes all the many scraps of paper, hastily-drawn diagrams, scruffy notepads, piles of old post-its, and faded whiteboards from my workspace and puts them neatly online. It really helps me to organise my thoughts and communicate theme ith others.

Simple way to collaborate with your colleagues

  • December 17, 2024

What do you like best about the product?
I started using Miro during the pandemic, and it quickly became an essential part of my daily work routine. It’s incredibly easy to use, which makes it accessible even for colleagues who aren’t very tech-savvy. The user interface is clean, intuitive, and straightforward, allowing anyone to jump in and start collaborating right away.

One of Miro's standout features is its ease of implementation. As a desktop app, it’s super simple to download and set up, and you’re ready to go in no time. The ability to collaborate in real time with my team—especially during remote working—has been a game changer. Miro has become one of the best tools for brainstorming, planning, and sharing ideas seamlessly across teams.

I’m also excited about the new AI feature, which looks incredibly promising. It’s clear this will help us simplify our work even further by automating repetitive tasks and offering smart suggestions. This addition makes Miro even more powerful and efficient as a collaboration tool.

I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their teamwork, especially in a hybrid or remote work environment!
What do you dislike about the product?
As a designer, what I dislike most about Miro is the lack of integration with Figma. Both tools are widely used in the design community, and having seamless integration between them would significantly improve workflows. Being able to directly sync designs or prototypes from Figma into Miro boards would save a lot of time and effort.

I understand that there might be some challenges due to Figma’s native board feature, but it would still be great to use both tools more easily together. A smoother connection between the two would make Miro an even more indispensable tool for designers like me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro makes it super easy to collaborate with my team, especially when we’re remote. It’s great for brainstorming, mapping out user journeys, and organizing ideas in a way everyone can understand—even non-designers. Having everything in one place saves me time and keeps the design process smooth and efficient.

Miro is the perfect tool for designers who need to colloborate with others

  • December 16, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to work from home! Before Miro existed, our workspace consisted of a cork board with active projects living on it. It was constantly being updated in person (because that was the only option). Now that Miro exists, we can be more sustainable, use less paper and work from home! I LOVE Miro!
What do you dislike about the product?
When a board is full of pictures- it can be glitchy and "blackout" for a few seconds. My IT guy has tried switching platforms but the problem still exists. I'd love to work with someone at Miro on problemsolving this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows people from outside our organization to colloborate with us without having to be in a physicall room together. This is what we were missing in the fashion industry!

Real Time Team Collaboration

  • December 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Multiple team members can work simultaneously on the same board and provide feedback which helps them to make good decisions. Also, this will help us to integrate with multiple tools like Slack, teams, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
All good, but compare to desktop version, mobile version has some less features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multiple team members can work simultaneously on the same board and provide feedback which helps them to make good decisions. Also, this will help us to integrate with multiple tools like Slack, teams, etc. This is contributing more than what I expect because this is flexible to use for team members even if they are at remote work.

Miro for In Person or Remote Collaboration

  • December 16, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how Miro enables our design team to collaborate simultaneously, whether we’re working together in person with our laptops or remotely from different locations.

We use Miro for brainstorming sessions, providing feedback on design work, voting on creative directions, and tracking our progress. The ability to see live updates as team members mark things up is invaluable for our remote team members. We use Miro paired with other video conferencing apps, and it keeps everyone on the same page, no matter where they’re working from.

Getting started with Miro is fairly intuitive. You can quickly jump in to add sticky notes or other annotations on designs, upload images, or even run a poll to vote on a design direction.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro has quite a few buttons to scroll through, especially when trying to find the upload option under the Tools/Media/Integrations section. Our team doesn’t really need some of the extra buttons (t-shirt sizing, AWS Cloud, or GIFs) which can make the extra tools interface feel a bit cluttered. That said, drag-and-drop functionality works as a alternative, and we just realized you can also pin the upload button for easier access.

It would be helpful if there were more customization options to hide or rearrange tools based on what a team actually uses.

Occasionally, we’ve run into issues with our boards getting too cluttered when a lot of people are working on them simultaneously, but the ability to organize content into frames or sections could likely help with this as we use Miro more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have remote workers spread across 6 countries and various timezones. Collaboration sometimes happens live on the same time, but at other times there is a delay in how we communicate. We rely on Miro for brainstorming sessions, providing feedback on design work, voting on creative directions, and tracking our progress. The ability to see live updates as team members mark things up is invaluable, as well as being able to chack back later for more clear direction.

Muito prático para cerimônias ágeis

  • December 16, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Gosto da possibilidade de fazer votações, montar boards temáticos e poder duplicar um board e customizar de acordo com a cerimônia e time.
What do you dislike about the product?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Executar, registrar e arquivar cerimônias ágeis de scrum.

Perfect tool for visual planners

  • December 16, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a white-board with superpowers. I can easily go from brainstorming/note-taking in a meeting to actually creating guidelines and sharing it in all-hands with the rest of the company. It's super easy to start using it and to get more team members on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, not everyone is familiar with it. The AI features could work with less content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro enables me to plan and think visually, making it easier to share my ideas and capture input from others more effectively and clearly. This guarantees alignment.
