Create extremely clear process flow diagrams in less time

  • August 01, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The blank canvas setup allows for maximum creativity and flexibility in mapping complex, multi layered process flows. Options to invite colleagues makes it easy to gather input from all the relevant stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are limited keyboard shortcuts available in Miro which can slow the process of creating new diagrams. The training material and documentation can also be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have complex process flows in our key functions including marketing, sales, and venture capital analysis often with cross-departmental dependencies. Clear diagramming in Miro allows us to keep track of how existing processes are setup, find opportunities for improvement and train new joiners.

A Game-Changing Collaboration Tool

  • July 31, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Great UX: Working with a big canvas could be difficult, Miro solves this using a ver friendly interface.

Easy to Use: Different users can interact in a very simple way, without loosing the attention.

Smart Features: Miro provides several features and widgets. It's not only a platform that it helps you to create your own maps (which is great to organise your ideas), but also to work with others in a very efficient way. For instance, you can vote for the best idea, leave comments, create several templates for the same project and explore which view is better for your goal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve can be challenging. Especially if you want to conduct collaborative mappings or sessions. It's tempting to jump into the platform and invite participants. Yet, you'll require to prepare your meeting in order to haver a good interaction and results with your participants. Otherwise you could ended up with a great template and purpose, but with bad results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Perhaps there are different problems that Miro can tackle. In my personal case was how to conduct participatory research for a study that requires a sample from different locations in the UK. It was very easy to select the most suitable template, setup the elements that I needed, and share the board. Moreover, I realised that one project can have different views/maps and it is easy to add those "layers". For instance, you can start with your main board to conduct a collaborative mapping session. The next day, you realise that you need to complement your information by adding your literature review. Well, you can create another board and have "your second brain" based on relationships and connections in one place.

Superb tool to create and check complex processes within Customers companies as well as your own

  • July 31, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Different icons are also very useful when making maps of different processes. The fact that you also get same icons - like envelope - in different styles makes its possible to adapt to customers own graphic guidelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
The small fact that when you share a board - and do not want to pay for a license - you must remember to not invite people and just send them a link.

Just a bit clearer dialogue here would be very helpful!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is our most helpful tool to visualize.
- web sites during development
- web sites during re building
- google ads flow
- product selling on a web site
- marketing strategy
- how social media works - with accounts

Especially to make a complex project easier to understand for customers not used to make processes

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is very helpful for me to track my product and project flow clearly. Also easy to explain very difficult strategies with the help of the diagram. The UI is friendly when compared to the competitors
What do you dislike about the product?
3rd party software integration to add the image to the platform like how the canvas integrates pixels and other tools with their platform.

Id Such kinda option is there, it would be an added advantage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating and maintaining the product and project flow is the key role of one organization to make the project and product outcomes successful.

With the help of Miro, I can abe to track the entire flow and achieve the result s in and on time.

Great tool to design flow diagrams

  • July 30, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I used the Miro tool to document the sequence of operations in one of my projects and it was very helpful and easy to design the flow diagrams which aids in easy understanding of the Machine working sequence.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can,t really categorise this under dislike but as an improvement point the arrow mapping is a bit challenging and be made a little bit easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an Industrial automation engineer i often need to build logics for machines so before i need to get aan approval before working on logic developments. If i present the sequence of operations in form of flow diagrams to the customers it will be easier to understand and can make a good impression too.

Invaluable for our remote first organisation!

  • July 28, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Our team is geographically dispersed and being able to conduct workshops or even having a place to capture spontaneous ideas has been really helpful for our team. We love that Miro suits every unit in our business, from product users needed to mock up flows and wire frames, to marketing users brainstorming a new ICP, it has everyone covered.
What do you dislike about the product?
On occasion we need to screen share to quickly show agencies or internal stakeholders that don't use miro regularly new diagrams or work but the visibility on a screen share can be poor. It would be great to see this improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us test our new concepts and scrutinize our workflows before putting them into action with our remote dev and product teams. We are able to effectively plan our sprints and review process using the templates provided.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Its been 2 months i have started to use Miro board under 2 projects. One to collaborate with our partners and create new services and another in my design thinking training. So far it is awesome
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that i can think of right now. Sometimes the single sign logs out and wont work. But i think it is not that a big of an issue at this point. Will surely keep posted
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The frameworks templates that are available in the Miro board has been extremely helpful. They have an example preview that serves as a good starting point. It is solving the problem of remote collaboration with my partners

My Experience from Miro

  • July 28, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has reduced my workload, instead of creating the entire block from scratch, the refined blocks and arrows make my work much easier.

Controlling and aligning the blocks are also pretty simple
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing the arrow block control is a bit challenging, I won't say it is tedious, but this can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The predefined template finished half the work, color adding features to the block diagram, made my diagram visually stunning. !!!

The options of exporting my diagram in different formats helps me to use the same for my own convenience platform.

Virtual and In-Person Collaboration

  • July 28, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Gives an easy to use virtual whiteboard to visually capture brainstorms, work collaboratively online, and bring projects to life.

Limited experience with competitors. Much better than using a Zoom whiteboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can occasionally be glitchy (e.g. cant add extra sticky notes) and the refresh rate can sometimes be slow. These issues can frustrate people (especially if they are not comfortable using 'technology').
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating process maps and user journeys that the whole team can view and contribute to. Its making it easier for staff to communicate an issues/bottlenecks that they encounter.

    Consumer Electronics

I enjoy using Miro in my creative workflow as a brainstorming and blank-canvas workspace.

  • July 27, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the open-canvas aspect of Miro since it allows me to see all the data in my projects at once. I can spread out my sketches, research, consumer reviews, etc. all in one place, but it's still organized and usable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the text tools and frame tools are a little clunky. It can be difficult to format in exactly the way I want it and it all feels very structured, not quite as free flowing as I'd maybe like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It works as a digital whiteboard for my creative workflow. I have a smaller desk space and as a creative designer I don't have a ton of space to pin up sketches, cad photos, research, etc. This allows me to do it digitally and also present my work in video calls easily and effectively.
