Boost your remote collaboration and inspiration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is one of my key tools I use in my work as technical consultant. The unlimited canvas, rich tooling and collaboration features make it a versatile and powerful tool for many use cases, including personal ones, internal with the team and company as well as with clients.
Getting started with Miro is easy. In couple of minutes you know the basics and start collaborate together. As with every tool, the interesting features are in the second row and you need time to discover them and evaluate for your use cases. With the Miro Academy a good starting point is provided for free and in the context of use cases, like Agile, diagraming or innovation. The webinars are joyful experiences as well: well prepared, engaging with good structure and content. So far was never disappointed with my time spend.
The magic of Miro lies for me in the incredible and huge community - the Miro Universe. The provided templates there are very inspiring and you can discover new approaches how to tackle one challenge and make progress fast.
Miro AI gets more and more powerful and looking forward to the new features. Especially the UI prototyping will be very interesting for us.
The innovation speed and new features is high, with the combination of blogs, webinars and videos you can catch up quite quickly when you have the time for them.

What do you dislike about the product?
Board sharing is easy and follows a hierachical approach. I wish I could create multiple share links with different passwords and permissions, which could have been useful in some situations to better control permissions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborate remotely with my collagues or clients. Also find visual attractive options and creativity by avoiding hard structures like a PowerPoint template.
How Miro makes campaign planning a breeze
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a fantastic tool for visually mapping out complex ideas and workflows. I’ve been using it to outline campaigns and ebooks, and it’s been a game-changer for clarity and collaboration. The ability to create dynamic, interactive boards helps visualise the flow from start to finish, making it easy to spot gaps or optimise strategies. Its user-friendly interface and versatile templates save time while offering creative flexibility. Whether working solo or with a team, Miro is an invaluable resource for brainstorming, organising, and presenting ideas. Highly recommend for anyone needing a powerful visualisation tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
A small downside of Miro could be that it sometimes feels overwhelming with so many features and tools available. For example, if you're mapping out a simple campaign, you might spend extra time navigating options you don’t need, which can slow down the process initially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of disorganised brainstorming and planning by offering a centralized, visual platform for collaboration. Instead of juggling multiple tools or static documents, I can map out campaigns or ebook flows in an interactive way that’s easy to update and share with my team. This not only keeps everything clear and aligned but also saves time by reducing back-and-forth communication. The visual aspect makes it simple to identify gaps or opportunities, which has been a game-changer for streamlining my creative processes.

Good for virtual team brainstorming
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a pretty good tool, especially for virtual teams. My team is able to work collaboratively and explore ideas and projects. I use Miro almost daily. I like that there are a lot of templates to choose from although it can be easy to get lost in all the choices. The addition of AI has been cool to watch. It works well in some templates but as with all products using it, growth and refinement is still needed.
Miro has been particularly helpful to me when I want to easily create visually pleasing assets for pitch decks or other situations where I need to demonstrate decision making rationale (especially when working with less tech savy industries or oganizations that are used to looking at spreadsheets or word documents).

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if there were folders or other ways to organize boards within a space/project.
I think this is a complaint I have about many tools, but there are lots of features and if you or someone on your team doesn't have dedicated time to define templates, processes, naming conventions, etc., etc...it can be easy to end up with a bunch of stuff that is hard to organize/reference back to.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtual whiteboarding and collaboration. It makes it easy to be in a shared space. There are good templates that include activities and having timers and the ability to have focused sessions with a team is helpful and reduces wasted time.
Miro in a multidisciplinary Medical device startup usage
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, and the benefits of collaborating with numerous tools to reach alignment and synchroniztion across the various team in an effective manner
What do you dislike about the product?
The update and loading time are too long, sometime the board that you are working on just disconnects/ disappears
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is solving the ineffective meetings, when employees and managers step out of meeting with misalignment on objectives, prioritization and scope
Friendly user experience for non-designers
What do you like best about the product?
Real time collaborative tool - it is great for remote/hybrid meetings where we need to share + update things real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
At our company, not everyone gets a Miro license so figuring out which teams are allowed to have information on Miro is difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves our need for collaborating visual spaces (vs a text or notes based app) and it benefits my team by reducing the additional amount of time needed to clarify.
Best tool for visualization!
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has been the best tool I've used so far for visualization. I'm an email marketer and it's so difficult to view all our email journeys in one place in the email platforms we use. Miro has allowed us to create visual customer journey maps that have made huge impacts on our marketing strategies. We are able to see all customer journey touchpoints in one place and identify areas of opportunity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly don't have too many dislikes about Miro. I wish there were some more pre-built board templates available focused on marketing use-cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is solving the issue of how to visualize our customer journey map. This has helped us tremendously because we are able to see all touchpoints going out to our customers and have been able to identify several areas of opportunity. We found outdated emails that we were able to update, high performing emails that we were able to add to other touchpoints in the journey, and low performing emails we were able to replace with other content.
Miro is a great way to map my interdisciplinary research projects
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the open plan, the ability to quickly insert text, image and arrows, and the ability to zoom in and out quickly to different parts of the overall board - the navigation is really intuitive and strong.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't major but sometimes I wish the selecting the arrow functions to ad to the board were more intuitive, I understand how they work but sometimes I want the arrow or the line to look a certain way and it can take up time fine tuning how the arrows link to text and image and making sure they look correct and are in the right format adds a little extra time. Perhaps if you start with a curved arrow it should be that for the next line you draw instead of having to tweak the settings each time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows me to house a lot of information from a PhD research project all in the one visual space. It enables me to have both micro access to specific elements of my research quickly but it also enables a macro viewpoint where you can step back and get a clear sense of the overall project quickly.
