Using miro as a designer during covid
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple and easy to use with the right amount of tools

It lags a lot when the files get heavy

Design workshops with non design people! It's really great for workshops and internal collaborations

Very helpful while working with team remotely!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the number of tools available to create and customize your board. It is also effortless to have multiple co-workers simultaneously making notes and adjustments to the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see more templates for board creation. It is beneficial to see and have the ability to use different organizational strategies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can work as a team on shared projects remotely. It is helpful to have a place to organize thoughts and easily share with other groups.
My favourite shiny toy.
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is one of my favorite tools; it helps me visually unpack complex concepts, and it's fun to use. The templates are fantastic, and it is the fastest way to create professional presentations (Powerpoint is so 2010). I love being able to post screengrabs, links and link various elements.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an endless whiteboarding tool, my Miro boards can get quite large, slowing the load speed. I've had feedback that non-Miro users find it quite overwhelming in presentation mode skipping from frame to frame. Sharing boards with non-Miro users is also quite tricky as they find it challenging to navigate at first glance - accidentally moving things around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to map out complex relationships. It is my go-to for visualizing online journeys and creating presentations. It is fun, easy to use (once you get the hang of it), and fast.

Our team is a remote team so Miro is great for collabrative work. It's so intuitive and can do everything we need.

Sometimes loading is glitchy sometimes..

Collaborative, communicative, free-flowing; a game changer
What do you like best about the product?
The expensive whiteboard surface has allowed my Film production team to create and collaborate in ways we never have before. Working with a Environmentalist perspective, this has allowed us to transition from paper used to virtual use, not having to take photos of a whiteboard, just to share an idea.
What do you dislike about the product?
The coding side of things is very difficult, Especially when trying to get apps that aren't integrated into the program to work with the program. I think there could be some more streamlining towards making this software more business intuitive, so someone like myself can easily incorporate everything into this one software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Writers block, creative Block, and overall cross platform communication has been streamlined And I find that my deliverables are now on time and far more refined because it's easier to make mistakes and grow from them. My stories are now interested, we're fine, and less destructive to the environment, which for me is a huge thing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be willing to play around with it and figure out what works for you, it is a amazing application for those willing to find their flow with it.

Quick and super flexible. Nice integration capabilities - using Monday, Jura. Scalable.

Would like to choose which pages to export.

Visualizing concepts and whiteboarding with customers. Interaction is great.
Transformative for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to get started and have a group contribute without prior experience. I like that you can visually diagram things easily with shapes that connect. Frames help you synthesize ideas after a session or can help you use one board as a collaborative space with multiple topics. Social features like commenting allow you to use a space over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little difficult to use at times - often people inadvertently move pieces of content when trying to move around the board. I find it hard to edit shapes sometimes after the fact. I also wish there were more intensive board categorization capabilities so that when used at a large company, users can navigate to a space to see their boards more effectively.

Get teams to think on complex topics where input from multiple people is needed

Templates are good, but would be even better if were a bit more interactive and even guide you completing them
