Miro, new kid on the block. More creative, excellent ease-of-use and quick to learn! Good work!

What do you like best about the product?
Recently, I tried out the video and chat feature within Miro. No need to use a separate collaboration platform. Great! Next will try-out integration with MS Teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still trying to figure out the best way to work with temnplates and to big a workflow within a board. Maybe use separate board per workflow phase. Still need to watch all the video tutorials.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solved: keep doing workshops more or less how i would do this face-to-face. Therefore project can continu to move forward. Still not at the same pace, but oke for now.

Miro helps get shared understanding and visibility

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of moving things around, linking them, and organize them in such a vast space
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, just maybe the fact that you cannot select all sticky notes at the same time and make them larger
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gathering and storing data from UX interviews
Doing experience maps or personas
Workshops with colleagues
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to replace boring remote meetings that end up with everybody getting confused by interesting workshops where you all get a shared understanding, miro is your tool :)

Essential tool in today's Product work

  • May 04, 2021

What do you like best about the product?
Miro allows you to visualise any type of information in a comprehensive, organised and flexible way. You are not stuck with rigid templates, or limited by space. Amazing for team work, different team members can contribute without having to undergo trainings. I use it to ideate, or put together research in order to see the bigger picture of what I'm creating. Rather than having multiple documents, I can just add everything to Miro and save it for future reference.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to scale things if you're working with multiple canvases. I often end up with things that are relatively too small or too large, which makes it a bit difficult to navigate different canvases in one session.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows me to organise my research in a way that is not limited by slides or other space constraints. I can create connections between different kinds of elements (image, text) that are easily edited. This means that in the end my work is all in one place, easily shareable with my colleagues. It's more fun and engaging than other tools I might use (e.g. Power Point).

Easy-to-use and well designed platform for brainstorming sessions and team workshops

  • May 04, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's super easy to set up a board thanks to predefined templates. You can create a predefined mindmap or brainstorming session in one click and share it with your colleagues. It's also great for collaboration and I like the voting feature. Team members can easily vote for post-its so you can filter the best results.
What do you dislike about the product?
The default setting is that if you share the board with a colleague who is not in your team and he/she signs up to your team, you are charged for an additional account. I find this a bit aggressive and I would welcome better transparency with the pricing for additional seats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Online team workshops. And any actual presentation if I need to create a simple mindmap or describe a process or an idea to anyone.

Smooth experience

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to co-create strategic sessions with my team members when brainstorming for a new project.
What do you dislike about the product?
To say I "Dislike" is huge, however, i would rather enhance the icons used on the side, sometimes gets confusing and have to click on each icon to discover what it represents. Also, including an option to hide the side menu bar gives us more freedom in control the whiteboard rather than the other way around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Journey Mapping, Brainstorming with strategic business oriented diagrams, the information hub and how to's section is enlightening too! Miro is helping us break into the "new" norm faster than anticipated. Virtual work has fast paced alot of regular office interactions.

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is accessible from every common web browser. You can easily collaborate and share thoughts.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the beginning, the vast amount of possibilities can be kinda overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I create mind maps, flow charts, and team retro sheets with Miro. It's easy to start with and everyone seems to enjoy Miro.

What do you like best about the product?
I love miro for its practicality and how easy it is for me to use it together with clients. On top of that, I love the great templates which help me to prepare meetings, workshops and trainings. This safes me a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is, that it doesn't work offline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I organize remote meetings, workshops, and use them to hold training on them.
The benefit is, that the participants can interact very easily over miro.

My digital White Board

  • May 04, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's intuitive enough for most clients to join in and share in the process
What do you dislike about the product?
I could use a 2 min video that shows my clients how to use it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Early stage creative process mapping (Mind Maps, White Boards) and a customizable creative, cloud work space.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For a 4-in-one book project I?m currently designing, I created 4x148 page dummies, with indication of pages, content and comments. Sharing this with project manager, editors and authors is extremely helpful way of keeping track of an otherwise logistical challenge.
