My experience with Miro
What do you like best about the product?
Miro makes the day-to-day work of our company's product and development teams much easier. It and its templates are used in various dynamics, scrum meetings, and in research and demand organization processes. The various features, integrations, and possibilities are great. In addition, the tutorials that explain our features are clear and objective.
What do you dislike about the product?
I miss some features that I have seen on other platforms and that promote interaction between participants in a dynamic, in addition to promoting greater personalization of participating users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Need to carry out synchronous and asynchronous dynamics with the objective of studying and mapping opportunities for improvement in our products. In addition to obtaining feedback and evaluations from the development team participants.

Amazing tool for remote collaboration, social activities and visualising business journeys
What do you like best about the product?
It makes collaboration fun with the various features such as reactions, timers, music, follow me feature and has a no latency way of operating.
It provides different diagramming templates, and the thousands of ready-made templates help create an online workshop in an instant. Implementing new boards is really easy and allows creativity. We use MIRO for most of our Software engineering team rituals.

What do you dislike about the product?
Migrating from one Miro workspace to another is not so straightforward, and it would be great to have ready-made flows, none other than templates. For example, to run a retrospective, it's nice to have something similar to Team Retro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating between remote teams is a bliss using MIRO. We are finding quite useful to visual business and customer journeys, or open a collaboration space.
Great platform for brainstorming with teams
What do you like best about the product?
I like the creative way of being able to brainstorm outside of a Word doc. Team can work together in real time to solve problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
I always have trouble finding the upload button to upload images. The button icons to navigate once in a board are not super easy to understand at first glance (where things are, what means what).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me brainstorm with our team and create great marketing campaigns
Easy Collaborative Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part of Miro is that I can share with internal and external facing team members. Also, the integrations with Jira are super helpful when it comes to making a ton of tickets. It takes out the tedious repetive work. I use this two to three times a week and if I had more training on it I would likely use it daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't see many downsides to using Miro. The only thing I can think of is when trying to find the right template to use for a project can sometimes be overwhleming because there are many options. However, I'd rather have more options so this is something I live with! Maybe already this exsist, but I would love more project management templates that already have integration to Jira included.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows my team and I to be more organized. The team can quickly go to Miro and see their tasks or status of projects. This also helps keep things organized when developing new courses.
Miro is wonderful for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
The ability for everyone to collaborate, add stickers, cluster, write, etc. Great for result presentation and brainstorming.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really. Everything is good. If I have to complain I wish there are more stickers/emojis to add more fun when teams are collaborating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
when knowledge and information is distributed within the team, Miro helps us bring everything together and work on the same board.
An invaluable tool for brainstorming, architecture, and communication.
What do you like best about the product?
I started using Miro back in 2019 as part of a human centered design team, but my use really took off in 2020 when the sudden need for remote workshops came about from the COVID pandemic. Miro was indispensable for continuing our work since we could interact with people, remotely, in real-time. The ability to show/hide content, see where cursors were pointed, guide users, and have the content in a digital format meant that I could run remote workshops as effectively as being in-person. As I've grown in my career I've found that its ease of use to share content to external organizations has become an invaluable platform for communication, regardless if it's a structured format like an architecture diagram, or something as informal as a brainstorming board. Even the simple copy/paste from screenshots is a huge help in putting together clear and thoughtful visuals for presentations. If a picture is worth a 1000 words, then the ease of Miro is worth 1000 pictures.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only challenge I've had is navigating the various teams and boards within the environment. It's just a minor annoyance where I have to be cognizant of which team I'm working in, which boards I created, and then ensuring I've invited the correct participants into the correct team. Thankfully, the ability to export back-ups of my boards eases my mind where if I get removed from a team, I can still maintain the data (I'm possessive like that).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The real-time collaboration is the biggest challenge, especially when working remotely where I've had to run workshops in the past.
