Miro as an organization and collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a great way to quickly organize thoughts and ideas in an informal manner that can then be built upon in a more formal way. It is also excellent for collaboration and bringing people into a creative or design process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro could be a bit better with it's subscription levels and clarity around who can be a collabortor versus guest versus viewer versus member of the team etc. Put another way, the subscription levels and invites to guests are too complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me have a digital space to organize different 'buckets' of information.
Ease, Space, and Accessibility
What do you like best about the product?
There are rarely any limits with Miro, especially when it comes to space. You can fit hundreds of elements just on one board, and still keep tidy and organized. I use it for both work and home. I love their templates, especially those that help with plot/story building, like timelines or photo diagrams. Tablemaking, which I use for work, is also not difficult to create and manage. Live collaboration is my favorite feature of Miro!
It makes for an interactive experience for all of those involved in your project, and it makes creation all the more fun, and most importantly, easier. It's done wonders for me and my work partner, and it's made keeping all of our projects in one place easier. I love not having to use several different websites. I also appreciate the features available even with a free account.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Miro had one more slot for another project for free accounts. I'm very grateful for 3 slots, considering it's not paid, but I feel like it's missing just a bit!
I also find dealing with the draw tool a little annoying, but that's only sometimes. I wish there was a better way to group drawings and all of their lines.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me avoid having to use several websites, and it satisfies all requirements I need for my project. Live collaboration, mind mapping templates, easy text editing, generous space, free to use, etc.
Miro is a Game-Changer for Brainstorming and Planning with Remote Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve used Miro across multiple companies and roles for brainstorming, planning roadmaps, quarterly goals, and team discussions around innovation. It works especially well for teams in different locations, allowing us to collaborate as if we're in the same room. The platform is very intuitive and versatile, with an endless canvas that enables seamless collaboration for remote teams. I’ve tried several other alternatives over the years, but Miro always stands out for its smooth interface and robust features.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the AI-powered features are a great addition, I’ve found that they could use improvement when dealing with a lot of unconnected sticky notes or disjointed ideas. It can be a bit complex to get the right insights quickly in these cases, and I’d love to see this made more intuitive and seamless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the challenge of real-time collaboration for distributed teams. It allows us to brainstorm, plan, and align on project goals efficiently, regardless of location. By centralizing our workflows—roadmaps, strategy sessions, and quarterly planning—it ensures everyone is on the same page. This has saved us time and improved team productivity, especially with its helpful templates, which streamline everything from ideation to execution.
A great collaboration tool for teams but requires buy-in
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a great collaboration tool that easily allows user's to create notes and diagrams - its my go to for workshops.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only downside is the needed for users to have a miro account to view the boards, and setting access can sometimes feel a little muddled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clearly mapping product decisions and sharing them with the wider team
Rapid, opinionated - yet surprisingly capable - diagramming
What do you like best about the product?
Miro guides you to do things it's way rather than being a general purpose drawing tool and therefore helps you get stuff done quickly. It's easy, simple, consistent appropach allows you to focus on working on your problems/tasks rather than getting in the way. I've become a fan of it's "just enough" approach.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been performance issues in the past when many users were accessing the same board, but these seem to be sorted and performance is now great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rapid diagramming to communicate with others visually
Love it. Not very flexible pricing
What do you like best about the product?
The software is very intuitive and software. I could start using it almost immediately right from the beginning. There are a lot of templates and plugins to get started. It helps improve my effectiveness and efficiency when collaborating with my colleagues, both online and offline.
What do you dislike about the product?
The zoom function can be confusing. Also, the current pricing is not very flexible to our company's needs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us work as a team more efficiently by providing an whiteboard feature for collaboration. The feature allows us to brainstorm, plan, and execute projects regardless of our physical locations.
Personally, I am using a lot in wireframing and diagramming, which Miro offers many templates to get started with.

Miro is a well rounded product that I use to solve most of my problems at work.
What do you like best about the product?
So easy to visualize flows or problems, many different tools available and good templates. Also easy to use for non-designers (I'm a designer) - which means that workshops are easier to host. I use it everyday - both personally (to map things out for myself) and in my team. Talktrack is awesome!
What do you dislike about the product?
Boards become very heavy fast since there is no guide in regards to how big you should make things. I've been in Miroboards where people have zoomed out to the max and started enormous boards.
I'm also missing the possiblity to add short clips into Miro! To show interactions etc.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User journey mapping - easy to create flows and add pictures.
Hybrid collaboration - we are a distributed team and Miro helps us a lot with staying in sync and noting stuff down.
Mind mapping - for me personally I am a visual thinkier, so I use Miro a lot to mind map and draw stuff out for myself.

Endless, creative design tools for all Work environments
What do you like best about the product?
I love the endless amount of templates, designs and shapes that I can apply to create various different boards to suit my many different meetings in work. or even my independent discovery work or planning.
Perfect for collaboration and very easy, simple to get others using this too in interactives sessions.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes things can mess up, always issue with size and zooming. Too many tools to choose from. Still trying to find what is best. Not yet got to grips with implementing AI with my work yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Running retrospectives and interactive sessions. Allowing people to easily voice their opinions discreetly or openly and helps us determine actions.
I always struggled with planning and designing timelines and roadmaps. This application helps me easily map out my timelines and my step by step progress, especially useful if you're not as creative like me.

Great for everything from organizing and holding workshops to managing self.
What do you like best about the product?
— The ability to share and collaborate even with non-logged in people is the top highlight. Without it, it certainly wouldn't be as useful, let alone used regularly for some of its top features (that enable us to hold workshops)
— There have been more and more addons over time, which enables us to use it for wireframing, getting feedback on documents, to a multitude of uses
— We started running our team syncs with Miro, and even with loads of components, it's able to load fast! We use the voting in the end to choose the person of the month :)
— The "anonymous" mode is also quite useful when we're running online workshops and don't want to bias each other's responses

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! I've been using it for quite some years (±7), and it has significantly improved overtime. The company has tried to find a replacement software, and got lots of backlash from the team. There's no other software that compares to the same level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having people all working in the same page, and enabling us to be transparent org-wise are the main highlights. We use Miro extensively and for a multitude of purposes, from organizing workshops to gathering feedback on interfaces.
Miro is an essential tool for business
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro in almost every aspect of my job - from project planning, ideation, article dissemenation, workshop planning and facilitation, weekly company meetings. It is a fantastic and easy to use colloborative tool with infinite ways to use it. It's an essential tool / platform for my work and one I could not live without.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no downsides to this tool and clearly Miro utilises a team of UX experts to continually improve the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is an online whiteboard that has taken the place of the physical rooms and whiteboards we used to rely on for projects. It's helped us save paper and permanently document our work. I could never imagine going back to a world without Miro!
