Miro, a perfect tool for Agile Way of Working

  • October 07, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a very flexible, reliable and effective tool for any organization that follows Agile Methodology as their way of working. The tool enables the creation of Product Roadmaps, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives and daily standups, all in virtual space. Additionally, Miro's flexibilityallows team to experiment and iterate
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro is less effective when it comes to tracking any project in terms of timeline. Including interactiveand advanced Gantt charts would be helpful. For large scale projects where strict timelines are to beadhered, non-availability of tracking can cause hinderance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It drives innovation and improves business process agility. It helps create internal/operational efficiencies and thus improve business process outcomes by enhancing decision making

My experience with Miro is great except some minor flaws.

What do you like best about the product?
Best thing is its colorful nature and easy connector which are very easy to connect as compared to Visio. Also interface is pretty amazing. I mostly used it for making flows charts.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are certain drawbacks in Miro:

1) Some times user is not able to edit the block which we usually do after double clicking it. In order to remove this error, every time I have to refresh the entire miro.

2) If the flow chart is big, then there should be an option of adjusting it according to the MS word or MS power point, because if we tru to paste the large flow chart in ppt or word doc then it becomes blur. There should be an option removing the blurness that comes after pasting big flows in ppt or ms word.

3) Also you guys can include AI that will convert the text into flowchat, that will be of great help and even organisation will buy it if AI is able to create the proper workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is making by the flow very creating as it is using colorfl blocks which makes it different from others. When I am using the flow in the ppt or words, people won't find it boring and they are compelled to read it.

Miro is perfect for creative strategists.

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has just enough flexibility that I can add fidelity to the mental frameworks I use to solve problems and ideate on the best solutions. However it also provides just enough structure to prevent me from getting lost in a sea of my own thoughts. Excellent tool for product managers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more than three boards in the free subscription. Not every business supports employee accounts and I would like to get more use out of it. Additionally, I feel the tool has great potential for early-stage wireframing but sometimes wish there were more options in the component library.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me add structure to my product ideas and communicate those ideas to other teammates effectively.

Also workshops. Excellent for workshops.

My Favorite Tool for Visual Thinking and Collaboration

  • October 06, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has quickly become an essential tool in my daily workflow over the past three months. I'm amazed by its versatility – I've effortlessly used it for mind mapping, process mapping, and brainstorming sessions, and it's been fantastic for each. What's really surprising is how intuitive and simple it is to use; I jumped right in without any setup or excesive implementation effort. And with so many features still to explore, I'm excited to see how I can integrate Miro into even more of my work, including presentations!
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm still discovering new things about Miro, but so far, I haven't run into anything I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basically, Miro is my go-to for clarifying my thoughts and making ideas tangible, both in my personal life and when I'm working with clients.
It's become my second brain. I map out my personal goals, my vision for the future, and my core values – it's incredibly helpful for self-reflection and keeping myself on track.
It's a vital tool for my consulting business. Whenever I need to tackle a problem with a client, I turn to Miro. It's where I brainstorm, visualize processes, and map out potential solutions in a way that's clear and easy for everyone to understand.

Powerful visualization tool with fast, seamless infinite canvas

  • October 06, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My favourite feature is the infinite canvas and the surprisingly fast loading time, which together allow for a smooth and fast navigation around a big structured board. As someone who uses Miro to visualize processes that are the result of discussions with various experts, quickly being able to find a related material on the same board without having to exit the tab and search for a different document is what allows me to have that extra second of time to jot down that valuable input directly to the right place. It also allows me to quickly find related materials to show to the team. I also requently use sticky notes to add quick remarks during discussions to my diagrams that usually will become part of the process flows later on, when I have time to turn think through how to finalize the formatting.
I also quite like that they offer community events, trainings, feedbacking, courses and badges. I have participated in some before.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the more challenging features to use for me personally is tables. Unfortunately, the smooth and usable UI that I like elsewhere just does not seem as seamless when working with tables. When pasting a table, the default format always needs tweaking and is surprisingly uncomfortable to do. Another improvement that would be really helpful would be the ability to select individual cell borders in the table and to be able to format them separately (colour, thickness).
The AI prompts functionality is another interesting one that I have not gotten the hang of, maybe I will get there one day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me solve the problem of creating and visualizing workflows across different departments in our company. Miro benefits me because it makes it easy for me to draft, review, and update process flows all in one place, as well as show or share them to all the other stakeholders. I can keep all created materials stored for future updates, which saves me time and enables me to reuse components, achieving a uniform style across different diagrams.

Miro: The Ultimate Collaboration Tool for Teams

  • October 05, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro daily and constantly invite my colleagues and teams to collaborate. Miro has revolutionized the way we work together, both online and in person. It's like having a "blank canvas" where teams can brainstorm, create plans, and develop ideas seamlessly. One of the standout features is how easy it is for everyone to stay connected, even when working asynchronously. Miro also serves as an excellent "memory" of all the ideas, plans, and tasks we've accomplished. The integration with other tools, like Jira, allows us to stay in sync with our projects more effectively. Additionally, Miroverse provides an incredible resource for discovering new templates and ideas. Miro continuously surprises us with new features that make working with the platform even more intuitive and effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I haven't encountered any significant disadvantages while using Miro. The tool consistently meets and exceeds our expectations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for a wide range of activities, including brainstorming, creating maps, developing plans, facilitating workshops, and designing courses. It's an essential tool for both team-based collaboration and individual work. I also rely on Miro to help my teams organize their tasks, share ideas visually, and track progress through the integration with project management tools like Jira.
Miro solves the challenge of keeping teams aligned and collaborative, especially in an asynchronous work environment. It provides a "single source of truth" where all ideas, plans, and actions are visually represented, making it easy to reference past work and maintain momentum. The ability to integrate Miro with tools like Jira ensures that our projects stay on track and that everyone is synchronized. It also helps in fostering creativity and engagement during remote workshops and meetings, allowing everyone to contribute effectively regardless of location.

What do you like best about the product?
Built in tools pool and integrations make it great for working on projects and keeping ideas together
What do you dislike about the product?
With the free plan you cannot access to deleted boards
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can do all of the things in one platform instead of keeping some file types or source types in several platforms
