Complete Whiteboard Solution

  • January 08, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's incredibly easy to start getting ideas down thanks to the intuitive user interface. It's also a great place to share design sketches and mockups and then easily share with the whole team for comment/review. There is little to no learning curve so the team can start working and commenting instantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything that I honestly dislike about Miro. One thing that I needed to learn was that the sticky note and shape tools are not able to be scaled in groups in the same way, which was confusing at first. Also, when you add a user and then remove them, it would be nice if it would remember the user existed previously and simply add them back to the team rather than having to re-invite them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to build out our product with a more streamlined workflow because everything can be created, accessed and referenced on Miro rather than having files and user stories in many different apps.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Regardless if your team is working remotely, Miro is the answer for teams looking for a central area to discuss and collaborate on products, designs and beyond. It's easy to use and has templates to use if you need to get started right away and don't want to spend too much time starting from scratch.

Miro is my favorite remote workshop tool!

  • January 07, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro's collaborative features and how easy it is to get started. I send a link and spend a few minutes in the beginning to go through basic functionality and we are ready. I don't miss whiteboards. And post-processesing sessions became a lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really so far. The pricing structure and the user types took some reading to understand, but after that it's all good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hosting remote workshops. Brainstorming and organizing my work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to consider how you plan to use it, for me the consulting plan made a lot more sense than having a very large team. And with Projects you can organize your work and share documents only with the intended audience.

Made Working From Home a Breeze

  • January 05, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The collaboration aspect of Miro is great. You can have a whole team of people working in a board at the same time, with live updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you have a lot of info in a board, it can slow it down. I've had issues with content loading and the occasional crash.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company has been working from home for almost a year now, and I don't know what we would do without Miro. It is extremely user-friendly, collaborative, and affordable.

Brainstorm Collaboration Tool

  • December 31, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like to use it as a collaboration platform to conduct design activities such as collaborative mood boards, brainstorm sessions, and wireframing
What do you dislike about the product?
There were several times where we lost valuable content
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration moodboards for art direction. It’s great for information architecture, wire-framing (much neater than Mural)

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that you can customize templates to fit exact needs. I personally use it for quarterly roadmaps. It also allows users to access simultaneously, which makes it easy to collaborate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like that you have to have an account to view the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using it to create roadmaps and collaborate with developers.

Easy, simple, beautiful

  • December 28, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The system is so flexible that it's easy to create fun collaborative documents even without a template. I've used it several times now to create "yearbooks" for tech bootcamp students. They have a blast creating entries and signing each other's "pages", even as they're learning another powerful software to add to their toolkits.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were unlimited free boards! Also, the learning curve takes a minute - would love a 2-3 minute video in addition to the tool tips/popups for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The templates are a huge timesaver, especially in remote working environments where the usual whiteboard and post-it options aren't practical.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I prefer it over Mural. It just feels friendlier and easier to use.

Great UI/UX to visually organize knowledge and for smoothly and fast collaboration.

  • December 27, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Most of the time UI/UX works as I expect. It's fast and intuitive. Having visually organized ideas/knowledge helps me a lot. Also everything works great when used as whiteboard to cooperate with my colleagues. I used other tools in the past and from the UI/UX or time/value ratio Miro is the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hope Miro will continue to invest to UX so all base functionality will work as I would imagine. I think there should be more innovation how to make UI dynamically change to help me create what I want very fast (e.g. I don't need to see 20 colors when I choose only three, similar with edges). Many things are better for some new widgets added recently and should be also improved for the old ones to make UX consistent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Designing and planning with easy collaboration/sharing. Organize and share knowledge visually.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to quickly whip up different kinds of visuals from wireframes to flow chats.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot import other visuals from tools like Visio
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working from home collaboration during Covid and as a less expensive Vision replacement
