Amazing Colaborative Plataform

  • December 23, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The endless canvas and artboards, is really intuitive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
How the artboards are organized and the fact that my colleagues and team mates has to pay even If I'm the owner of the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization problems. Now I'm able to see a lot of my work in one plataform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Review the pricing information and contact a sales representative to make sure you are getting the best license for you.

This is great for a teams that are not use to working remotely

  • December 23, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My team is use to getting together on a regular basis and using a whiteboard to brainstorm a new project or get up to speed on existing ones. The transition to remote working has been difficult, and finding the right tool that will allow us to collaborate in our most effective way has been a hard road. Miro has solved this problem for us! We are able to have virtual meetings directly in each board we are working on and update boards individually outside of meetings, we now feel like the team we were before 2020!
What do you dislike about the product?
At this time we have not had any issues, and so can not report any dislikes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem we are solving with Miro is team collaboration and communication, this is the only app we have found that allows to speak our language. There are so many out there that mean learning a new one and that effects our efficiency and responsiveness to our clients!

The best online "digital whiteboard"

  • December 21, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The controls in Miro are largely intuitive, items import and export seamlessly, and in the format you'd expect, and it walks a fine line of having functionality that is not overwhelming, while simultaneously offering robust all-in-one technology.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting consistent sizing for boards and frames across a project when working with others. I understand the almost unlimited scroll functionality, but boards start to crash after a certain size and it can be hard to make sure some users know how to format their boards for collaboration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Digital project collaboration, working through Agile templates, and hosting virtual workshops.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is an incredibly robust tool and I would recommend it to anyone looking for the next closest thing to getting to whiteboard out a project together. That being said, I think Miro would be most effectively utilized if you start with a strong onboarding of yourself and participants (so you can take advantage of features like # and search and hide as well as get the sizing consistent, etc.) and setting up the board before inviting participants including getting the templates, and coming up with a plan for how your users will engage with each frame.

Great for visual collaboration

  • December 21, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use Miro as a collaborative tool on remote calls and allows our team the ability to brainstorm and map out our thoughts in a more visual manner than you usually would be able to.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the cost, I wish there were more features available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For one of our design projects, we are able to take a high level look at the project across the board, as well as zoom into specific components and react to them. This allows us to have a feedback session that is interactive.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Set up any concept boards prior to a meeting and delegate who is in charge of each Miro board.

The Google Doc of diagrams : the easiest way to collaborate on diagrams, workflows and user flows

  • December 21, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease-of-use and speed of creation of nice workflows
Collaboration capabilities
Export capabilities
Quality of rendering
Capability to embed notes, tasks and links
What do you dislike about the product?
Only online mode - an offline app would be great
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Design workflows and enable collaboration on it : I was using Google Presentations to share thoughts around diagrams, but design is limited. With Miro, I'm able to design complex diagrams and workflows, and share them with customers and colleagues. It looks very professional and I can design them within a snap
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Reduce time spent on designing diagrams for teamwork

What do you like best about the product?
Great way to collaborate, change ways of narration within the single workspace: from Kanban to narrative design to project planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
Highlighted areas, but the idea may be fruitful for some other users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task tracking; brainstorming; fleshing out ideas.
Great way to track things!

Best creative and strategy collaborative tool on the market. Intuitive, easy to use by anybody

  • December 17, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, allows shy participants to have a voice in creativity and is extremely easy to use. It allows large groups to participate in ideation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe improve the video conference aspect of the platform. We still use Zoom versus using the video system within Miro
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ideation with large groups

98% perfect diagramming tool.

  • December 16, 2020

What do you like best about the product?
Collaborating live on Miro has been the best replacement for IRL whiteboarding sessions I've found, and as a UX Designer/Product Owner, it's one of the easiest tools for ideation and process capture, even easier than Omnigraffle was. I can have non-designers participate and pick it up very easily, or use it for detailed wireframes and site maps.
What do you dislike about the product?
1.No element libraries is a HUGE gap and missed opportunity, and that's the only thing that prevent me from a 100% positive review.

2. I really hate truncating titles to fit narrow tabs. Just give it another row so I can see the full damn title!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

nice, easy, intuitive and powerful

  • December 16, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Mainly it's the variety and flexibility. It is easy to sketch something pretty fast during a 5people plus session. Visualize your thoughts or the center of the discussion is key to gain progress and bring everybody on the same page.
Ay! And there are these nice template, icon library and these discreet "there is a new feature" messages/ tutorials.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really so far - the unavailability of the icon library app for one or two days was 'uncomfortable'
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly visualize concepts and draft the 'big picture'! In our day to day business as DATA- and digitalization advisor it is key to bring people and departments together coming from different departments and talking differently. MIRO helps to bring everybody on the same page, collect and present facts, info and snippets.
