The only way remote/hybrid work WORKS
What do you like best about the product?
Hard to limit myself to just one thing I like best. I'll give a few: collaboration with collegues is honestly EASIER than in person collaboration. I could not live without Miro as a workspace for client sessions. It's easy onboarding new users and makes our workshops professional and seamless. Third, it's invaluable for brainstorming and note taking for my own personal use. I've even used it to help plan a personal trip to Paris! I use Miro every single day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very very little. There are just two that consistently trip me up. First, there is no ability to archive or create subfolders. I work in a large organization and that consistently creates issues as we do multiple projects for the same client. Just give me a subfolder please! The only other nit is that as new features are added, I've noticed that Miro has slowed down and gotten a bit laggy in the past few months, which never used to be a problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At it's most basic level, Miro allows for realtime collaboration no matter where you are located. My clients and collegues are spread around the world. Miro makes it easy for everyone to work together and align around a single goal.
My experience with miro in the last years.
What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro a wonderfull tool to organize Ideias, and visualizing in a very intuitive manner a digital board. The technology is flawwless and the ability to upload PDFs, Youtube videos, and articles is an incredible way to communicate my ideias. As an architect I find it essential.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont particularly dislike anything about the tool, but there is a lot of gadgets and tools I never used either.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It offers an integrated sollution to have all project related documents, drawings and anotations for the whole team as well as the client to see and interact with. Its the best platform I know of to do such integrated colaborative work, when going through different stages of a product or architectural design
As a program manager I love it!
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a program manager and I love miro, it's easy to use and to share with my stakeholders. I love the fact that I have a blank page and can play with shapes and sizes. It allows me to clear up my ideas and brainstorm easily from a distance with my stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to use their templates more often, each time I choose but end up deleting it and starting from scratch according to my needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing ideas with my colleagues and collaborating with them to create complete diagrams
Effective, Collaborative, and Fun!
What do you like best about the product?
The navigation, the customization, the ease of collaboration, and the pre-built templates make Miro so fun to use. Here at ShyftLabs we use Miro for everything from Team Org Charts to Content Calendars to Backend Archeticture.
I've used Freeform and Whimsical and a number of other tools like this - but none have made my life as easy as Miro does.

What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, nothing. Been using it for over a year and have not had any issues other than the odd ownership transfer confusion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effective Collaboration and Visual Mapping across our remote teams. Being global and a hybrid company, we can't all just get in a room and scribble on the whiteboard - but Miro makes it feel like we are doing exactly that!
Self-Taught Miro User Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like the collaborative ability within Miro. It's very easy to share information, make changes, and see real time updates when working with teams and people across the world.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a self-proclamed perfectionist, it can be frustrating when pieces of a Miro board can't be edited exaclty how I'd like them to be. However, with the variation of tools within Miro, if one visual doesn't work for my project I can usually find another setup that achieves what I need to.
It does take time to get into a rhythm when using the tool for the first time. I usually dedicate a chuck of time to get a foundation of my Miro board created before changing tasks.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows for multiple workstreams to collaborate on a common project - it provides a space for a larger number of people to contribute and provide feedback or ideas while keeping the "workspace" clean and easy to follow.
Miro review
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and the variety of templates
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer that the ability to drag the board around was not the right mouse button but the left mouse button. Perhaps a setting to allow 1) left button drag along with 2) double left click to activate the selection of items on the board since that action is currently on the left button.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've learned a lot about the various techniques for performing customer journey mapping and the collaborative way in which all of the above can be done is a game-changer. It's made my work more efficient and my ability to communicate product direction and user journey so much easier.
Easy to use, great to get visual thoughts out in a virtual collaborative environment
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it's easy to use, easy to share, and easy to collaborate with cross functional partners on some of the different challenges we face
What do you dislike about the product?
Formatting is sometimes a little ugly, like the left aligned boxes having text all the way to the left makes my diagrams (as a designer) not look the best designed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are some things that are better visualized cross-functionally, -- flows, proposals for roadmaps, and brainstorming OKRs
Miro is awesome to share and order toughts and ideas
What do you like best about the product?
I like the idea that I can have multiple work areas in the same board without having to minimize or distribute them in different tabs. Also, the great features, accessibility, flexibility and templates make my daily agenda a super doable plan.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when I try using my Miro on my cellphone is not updated immediately, however it works perfect on my mobile devices. Also the org chats are not so friendly according to the way we work at our company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is helping me a lot to organize all the ideas that come to my mind as I go, is a great tool to brainstorm, organize and follow up
Excellent tool to promote better collaboration and actionable plans
What do you like best about the product?
It's intuitive and easy to use. There are a ton of templates that both provide value or even suggest alternative approaches. I use it almost every day, and certainly every week. It easily integrates with Jira, the customer support team are responsive, the implementation is very straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not a lot to dislike, the ability to share and set up non-licensed user access could be a little better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PI Planning, Refinement, Roadmapping. Creating a visual reference to increase common levels of understanding.
Great for team collaborations and workshops
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to build process flows and collect ideas through the boards, which ultimately helps align the team to the right place. Key Miro boards are also a great source of truth for agreement and presenting charts or discovery flows. I used Miro almost every day, either to look at documents or review processes. I have not had major issues that required a customer support agent.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to track down changes with many contributors, and sometimes pasting from other sources doesn't work as well. For example, I recently pasted a table from Miro to Atlassian and it worked like a charm and was super satisfactory. When I tried the other way around to copy a table from a Google Doc or Confluence into Miro, its doesn't work that great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- For remote teams its much easier to host workshops.
- Some presentation features like very graphical roadmaps are easier to maigtaign and present than roadmapping tools because zoomin in and out is better and the export options are great.
