Helpful tool for organizing the team's thoughts and collaborating virtually.

  • March 23, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We found a lot of use for the tool when we were stuck at home during the pandemic. Everyone would log on remotely, and we could still hold virtual innovation sessions. We still use it to support specific activities as the tool allows us to add/share information simultaneously. Miro is also the go-to tool for making flow charts and diagrams because it is easier to build, edit and share than other programs we have.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't needed it as much since we are back in the office full-time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been helpful in our innovation process, mainly as we conducted some of these virtually. In-person Miro allowed for larger innovation sessions because more people could participate simultaneously and still contribute individually.

I am using Miro on a weekly basis in my role as Product owner

What do you like best about the product?
Easy access to the dasboard, easy to understand the application, easy to work as a team at the same time. It is easy to export any dashboard to a png or pdf such that is can be used in external applications like Azure DevOps and Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboards can be very large, distracting the audience to other areas of the board. I would like to see some functionality that help to focus my audience. I recently discovered the ability to export a link to JIRA. I would love to have that kind of integration also for Azure DevOps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy interface to quickly setup a roadmap that can be shared to management. The team can simultaniously work on the content, rather than sending a Powerpoint presentation around, hence it promotes collaboration (even among teams).

Miro as a tool for Qualitative Analysis

  • March 23, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I often use Miro as a qualitative research tool. I specifically value the ability to take notes very fast through post-its, and then the ability to cluster these with personalized tags.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we have to do an analysis of more than 4500 post-its. What happens often is once we are done with giving the individual post-its tags, Miro crashes. I would like to see an additional way of saving a project, without having to rely on the auto-save option only.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making it possible to conduct qualitative research activities, on a collaborative platform together with other researchers. It also provides a nice way to communicate these activities to the client we're working for.

Essential tool for today's work

  • March 23, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Not having a tool like Miro in this day and age, where online working in teams is more common than not, is almost impossible. Especially for creative workshops and design sprints Miro is inddispensable.
What do you dislike about the product?
A better 'file' or project management option would be nice. When your team grows and the number of projects and boards as well, the current system is a bit lacking
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to digitize what we used to do with post its on the wall and being able to do this remotely

Could be great to be able to upload our own fonts into the projects

It is a great visually interactive and collaborative tool

  • March 23, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Freedom of moving around, & ease of creating / editing
What do you dislike about the product?
Text format could be improved adding more options (font type, etc.)
Having some pre defined shapes or forms as templates would help a lot
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross functionally collaborating across multiple teams / functions in a visually enhanced way. This translate into much easier understanding and flow of communication across all stakeholders, which in turn allows them to give input faster and advance projects in a faster and more aligned way.

A must have tool for team collaboration

  • March 23, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The range of plugins and tools it provides. It solves most of the use cases I can think of.
The flows of the ppts I can make are just amazing.
I love to use this through my day to day work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pen support is missing. All else I feel good about. I feel we can have some pins per page. sometimes we put things on board and it takes a lot to expand them from zoom out look.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for team collaboration and tracking.
Plus I sometimes use it for data visualization making diagrams and flows for my day-to-day work.
These features are missing in most of tools.

Miro is a powerful tool

  • March 23, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to easily draw flows and transform it into presentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Part of the UI sometimes is not friendly when you have to pick forms to draw for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro help to easily transform my ideas into visual flows, allowing me to have conversations with my peers and team members.

What do you like best about the product?
Brings people together.
Mouse cursor tracking is a great feature.
Premade templates that we can use to drop straight into the work space.
Expansive working area and lets you run parallel activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its too slow sometimes, there is a big load when using the app alongside screensharing on google meet.
There is a lot of features baked into miro and that can be a bit overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
using it as a virtual white board.
moving post its aroudn the screen and allowing multiple users to simultaneously categorise their priorities that have been predefined by the chair of the meeting as well as creating their own.

Almost seamless, with more features that I even know about

  • March 22, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility in board use and ability to easily share with other stakeholders
What do you dislike about the product?
Pretty intensive on the hardware when used in Chrome (preferred browser choice). Often have to shut down and reopen all tabs if using Miro
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a solution which enables me to map large/complex ideas and then share easily with other stakeholders - also allows for jumping between contexts within the same topic of discussion
