The best tool i found to easily visualize and organize ideas

  • September 30, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The live sharing of everything is what makes it more useful for me.

Being able to get together with sometimes more then 20 people and just go wild on a brainstorming session where everyone is just shooting out ideas in their own post-it notes, then being able to very easily organize and go through all of them is amazing, and with the added bonus of not actually needing to be together in the same room, and also not wasting any real paper.

Using it solo to design system architectures, starting from scratch is also very useful, i can start from a very simple set of post it notes and then evolve the complexity of the diagram as needed, easily getting feedback from others at any moment.

The smoothness of the experience is great, and the fact that it also takes almost no time to load any board is also amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont have big things that i dislike, but i would say that there are somethings that its not very suited to do.

An example that I've seen is using for creating a scrum board for tickets, it has flexibility for those things but its much easier to just use a more specific tool like jira for this, that already has a lot of built in useful functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote team work and collaboration without it would be much harder.

Miro in consultancy

What do you like best about the product?
Miro, is the best tool when it comes to presentations, trainings and workshops (majority of my job activities).
I am very happy with it, as everybody can join it and also contribute to the wanted activities, which can be also timeboxed, Another good aspect is that it can be used also in planning, being upgraded with the estimations and dependencies.
What do you dislike about the product?
In general, I am very happy with this tool, maybe I would appreciate more when somebody adds my name on a specific postit, to be notified by e-mail about it; otherwise if I am not opening the Miro board, I will not know that some action point was agreed to be tackled by me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trainings and workshops presentations are made with the help of Miro, so it s a great friend in my job

good platform for interactive teaching / co-creation

What do you like best about the product?
While materials stored in computer folders might easily be forgotten, Miro offers a good solution—everything becomes visible at a glance. By placing materials on a Miro board, I can easily organize them, build structures, and make connections, which makes the entire process more streamlined and productive.

One of the standout features of Miro is its collaborative capabilities. Multiple users can work on the same board or project simultaneously, making it incredibly easy to co-create and share ideas in real time.

Additionally, the ability to revert to a previous version of the board helped me recover accidentally deleted items, which is a huge relief when working on complex projects.

While I haven’t tested its maximum capacity, Miro seems capable of handling a significant amount of uploaded content. I hope it can accommodate the entire set of materials for a course with 20+ students, but so far, the storage capacity has been no problem.

The support team of Miro is great! They replied to my email very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally I encountered technical issues such as a freezing board or not being able to open a board. But it usually resolves after a few refreshes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
a storage for data collection; co-creation of project ideas; organise ideas

Once You Start, You Can’t Stop – A Highly Addictive Collaboration Tool

  • September 28, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I started using Miro more frequently during the pandemic, and it quickly became a go-to tool for team online meetings. It’s incredibly addictive—once you start using it, it's hard to switch to anything else. The flexibility and ease of collaboration make it feel like an essential part of the workflow, especially when working remotely. Even now, I find myself using Miro for almost every project or meeting. It just works, and it keeps our team connected and productive in a way other tools haven't been able to match.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version is quite limited, and the pricing for larger teams or more advanced features can add up quickly, which might be a downside for small teams or startups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Engagement during meetings has improved. Instead of passive participation, everyone is more engaged because they can actively contribute. This has made our meetings more productive and cut down on the time spent circling back on missed ideas.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using it for making idea boards, presentations and working with my teams. I can easily create visual concept on miro board and the best about miro is I can easily copy and and paste design elements from online website. no need to download first the paste into board. Great tool for showing ideas visually.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we import many templates on same board while working with team this tool can slow down and become hard to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to get work done quickly with ease of copy and paste into various template based placeholders. Easy to operate from any device and communicate with team.
