Miro is a great platform for virtual and in person collaboration.

What do you like best about the product?
DIfferent types of media can be incorporated into a Miro board with links to documents - it's all in one place, easy to share and to edit.
For in person collaboration it also removes the need of archiving the work in form of taking photos of the whiteboard or transferring process flows into another application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Virtual collaboration has always the risk of not having all participants fully engaged.
Handling tables is not so handy. Would be great to be able to tie in an excel sheet and work on directly in Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly process improvement, problem solving and mind storming activities. As mentioned, easy to share content, edit with a big team, no need to archive.
It was a great help during the pandemic.

Miro is an excellent tool for conduction workshops in a hybrid or digital environment..

What do you like best about the product?
It's possible to use it on complex workshop situations in a way that makes it both easy for me as a facilitator and visually appealing to participants. A lot better than e.g. Collaboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to export the findings and results in an easy way without alot of manual work arounds. Exportation to PPT would be nice with a possibility to edit the content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross - functional participations in a hybrid setting. Which means more participants from separate parts of the organisation and a possibility to decrease travel expenses.

Skeptical at first but now love Miro

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a great tool for collaborating and sharing information with a team. You can format information in so many different ways and customize it for a more analytical or design-oriented approach.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more options for customizing tables and when you copy/paste to and from Excel the data could be more streamlined and maintain the same formatting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is a great place to collect information and ideas to be shared and collaborated with across a team. I also like it for corraling links to documents and reports that are stored in different locations.
I was skeptical at first, but it's been easy to learn and use the tool.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that as a team we can all be synced on a topic and working collaboratively. the doc updates in realtime and allows us to work from multiple locations seamlessly
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Miro kicks me out a lot - I find myself having to log back in multiple times
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As we can work remotely, Miro is solving the issue of any gap between WFH colleagues and IRL colleagues - we can remain up to date and in the loop

What do you like best about the product?
I like the virtual collaboration, so I can work with teams across the world in real-time. It is easy to ideate, brainstorm, and create visually compelling content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The access constraints and approval process for invitees. This may be related to how our enterprise account is setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Great Collaboration Tool for Designers and Developers

  • March 22, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is very user friendly and efficient in gathering images/information onto a platform that you can use with your colleagues. It is also great for collaborating on new design briefs, presenatations, and discussions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro can get slow if you upload high resolution images so you just need to make sure to downsize the images before uploading in order to conserve the data usage that will slow down the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is allowing my colleagues and I to collaborate in real time. The virtual whiteboard is very useful in generating ideas, collecting information, and building projects during meetings with team members in different locations.

Miro is what whiteboard apps should be

  • March 22, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the Smart Drawing tool. Converting notes from one shape to another without losing the written content is great. Love how you can link to and from almost everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it misses features for power users. Keyboard shortcuts could be enhanced. For example, it would be great to quickly switch to the Selection tool by pressing CMD when using another tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It would be impossible to run remote meetings and workshops without a feature-rich whiteboard tool.

Miro makes it easy!

  • March 22, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a great resource for my team. We primarily use it to develop test plans, product user analysis, and presentations. It is easy to make visuals in real-time with the team which makes conversations around complex planning much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a little bit of a learning curve with Miro. Once users are comfortable, they become much more productive, but it takes time. It also takes time to figure out how to organize the boards. The templates are great, but there could definitely be more and more specific ones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is helping a lot with the realtime creation of visuals. This aids in discussions around planning. Additionally, I do a lot of user diagramming in Miro. Previously, I was working in PowerPoint to make these visuals. My miro visuals are much nicer to look at and quicker to create.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact you can create quickly boards and see online modifications from collaborator.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I like much the way to move in the miro board (better to do it with the usual left button on the mouse)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is helping in idea sharing and brainstorming phase of a project
