best digital whiteboard tool out there

  • September 12, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
once you get the hang of it, it's very convenient. I use a lot of features, mainly the timer/anonymous view for interactive sessions, and the presentation mode + export frame as images for sharing content
What do you dislike about the product?
lack of navigation between boards, and overall structure of grouping boards
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Create a space for a remote team to interact for collaborative and productive meetings. Easily share ideas and concepts that are editable or commentable to others. Keep related content into one board with different frames instead of creating a lot of new links.

Daily, must-have tool to enable distributed work

  • September 12, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how it matches the way my design brain thinks and organizes information. It's fluid and real-time, enabling me to work with my other design-minded colleagues. The scale and space available to work also helps with projects across timelines and various complexity levels.
What do you dislike about the product?
There can be glitches - for example, the undo button suddenly stopping. I also find it difficult to use on tablet or touch screen (mouse is best). But my day-to-day experience is positive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working across physical locations and navigating ambiguity. Not everything in our strategy work is clear cut, but this helps us work through ideas that may start out messy and evolve into clarity.

Leave Complex Tools Behind: Tailor Your Journey with Miro

  • September 12, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Miro is its ability to transform my workspace into a mindful, organized environment. It allows me to seamlessly create mind maps, diagrams, and process workflows, all in one place. Whether I'm working on a project, product design, SOP, or just managing daily operations, Miro helps me visualize and demonstrate each step effortlessly. It's not just a tool—it’s a creative space that makes complex tasks easier to manage and execute.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I first started using it, I found the sheer number of tools and features a bit overwhelming—it definitely took some time to get comfortable. Plus, as my boards grew larger with more complex diagrams, I noticed some performance slowdowns, like lagging and longer load times. The lack of offline access can also be a hassle, especially when I need to work while traveling or in places with spotty internet. Pricing is another issue, especially if you’re working solo or in a small team—some of the features that would be most useful are behind a paywall. And while the mobile app is handy, it doesn’t have the full functionality of the desktop version, which limits how much I can do on the go. That said, it’s still a great tool when everything’s up and running smoothly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Miro, I struggled with creating process maps, diagrams, and journey demonstrations across different platforms. It was difficult to find everything I needed in one place, and switching between tools slowed me down. Miro solved that by bringing all my ideas, workflows, and diagrams into a single, easily accessible workspace. With tools like mind mapping, icon integration, and the ability to comment, Miro allows me to create everything in real-time, effortlessly. I can instantly share my work with my team for collaboration, and export it as PDFs or industry-standard formats like JPG. Every time I have a new idea, I can quickly jot it down on the board without wasting time on complicated setups. Miro has been a game changer for my daily workflow, streamlining tasks and making my design process more efficient and collaborative.

Miro makes creative remote work possible

  • September 12, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Miro is that it allows remote and local teams to discuss and think about complex issues in a collaborative, visual way. It speeds up and deepens the quality of conversation in an easy to use and meaningful way, helps align people on a particular topic, and clarifies and eludicates the central topic.

Additionally, doing remote workshops in Miro is enjoyable and engaging.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't really a dislike, but if it were possible to integrate Miro with Zoom or even have a Miro-specific video communication channel that would further motivate people to speak, create, and interact with the Miro content it would be even more effective. Sometimes people can take on an observer role and I'd like to have them more proactively engage with the Miro content without having to remind them, so something baked into the user experience would be a huge improvement in my teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping my remote team communicate more efficiently
Helping create strategy documents in a more dynamic and enjoyable way than Powerpoint

Miro for product managers and designers

  • September 12, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
For me, Miro is currently the best visual management and whiteboarding on the market with unique usability and a deep set of features, facilitation and templates to cover all needs for a product team.
My team extensively leverages miro for:
- Product management: whiteboarding and ideation, stakeholder and client engagement through workshops, giving a support for team ceremonies
- Product design: wireframing, usability testing, innovation

The perfect tool to support a hybrid team.
What do you dislike about the product?
For my needs, an integration with Aha would be ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly collaboration. Anytime we have to wirk together, Miro helps giving a voice to everyone and flesh out any idea a blink. And contrary to physical whiteboards, you get to keep your diagrams!

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Linking and finding nodes is really easy, good selection of nodes, you can lock certain parts of the diagram in order to prevent disruptions in collaborations
What do you dislike about the product?
Somewhat high memory usage while idle. Can be mitigated by using the browser's energy saving features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly it helps getting my ideas (and related consequences and such) together "in paper". Diagramming helps during onboarding or feature design.

Miro is amazing

  • September 11, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a great tool, you can do many things. I am a UX Designer and use Miro almost daily to create, ideate, collaborate, prototype, and discuss. At this moment I am using Miro to elaborate some wireframes to validate with my team and after we will spend time making a dynamic collaboration, and we have Miro to do this!
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro would deliver more extensions for UX Designers, like more icon library options, and possibilities to arrange or merge some components like Figma. For example, I can do it in Figma simply because I can group, lay out, measure the distance, and create my own symbols and components.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Create a simple design and wireframe to discuss faster with my team.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how cross-functional friendly it is - i can create work and then share with my team to update live while in a working session.
What do you dislike about the product?
haven't found the most out of the library template...though there are some great ones in there, many are exactly what I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro really helps me visualize journies without limitations. i used to build these in slides and lack of real-estate and options really prevented me from creating something great. Miro is so easy to use once you get the hang of it and so customizable.
