Great solution for working remote with my team

  • October 29, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Smooth collaborative editing and sharing.
Enough tools around to get ideas across.
Easy to learn if familiar with other design programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Seems like data loss is sometimes an issue. Really would be great to have versioning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting with teammate to ideate together at the same. Replacing the feel of physical whiteboards.
Effectively saving gigantic boards, in this case better than a physical whiteboard that can get wiped.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just use it. As a designer, or anyone working in a team setting. It's a great collaboration tool.

Miro Review from a UX Designer

  • October 29, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Collaboration aspect of Miro is fantastic. The interface is easy to use and fast. We've been able to run brainstorm workshops with Miro!
What do you dislike about the product?
Drawing is difficult without the app/ipad.. I'd like to see drawing features similar to Invision Freehand, which make drawing very easy even with a keyboard/mouse
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration is so great, especially with everyone working from home. It allows us to share out boards across disciplines and get everyone involved.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to work, the app, you can work with people at the same time. Visually is pleasant.
What do you dislike about the product?
Practically anything. At the beginning there were no tables, so I have to built them using lines, however in a month they that that feature. So it was pretty useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am building the Future Process Map , enhancements of the process and also a SIPOC matrix.

Started using MIRO to replace in-person whiteboarding, and we're still using it!

  • October 29, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Collaboration while working remotely works very well - we started using it when we were unable to work in person, but now we use it instead of using whiteboards even though we're back in person. I really like that MIRO can be used for so many different things. We use it for stand up boards, for presentations, for wireframing, for architecture discussions, just about any collaborative work that I need to do, I know that I can use Miro for it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a long time to "process results" after voting. I can't set voting times or timers that are less than 1 minute long (sometimes I want to do 30 second or less quick fire voting rounds).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote collaboration is the primary problem we are solving. It's also great even for collaboration in the same room, as everyone can bring a laptop and get involved with what's happening on the board, whereas a physical whiteboard has a physical limit based on size to how many people can use it at once.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try Miro! It will change the way you and your team work remotely (and save you a heck of a lot of money on Post-it Notes!)

Love this virtual teaming experience!

  • October 28, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has become an irreplaceable collaborative tool for me and my teams, especially as we are all working in a virtual setting. It has proven hugely useful for everything from daily standups, to client workshops and trainings, to internal team brainstorm sessions. I appreciate its usability, thoughtful features, and thought-provoking templates. In a time where we don't have the ability to whiteboard in a team room, this is definitely the next best (if not better) option.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro is sometimes confusing for my clients upon first-time use and login. It could be a bit more user friendly on the web version (the desktop version works much better, but clients often don't download it for one-time use). The zoom feature gets to be tricky on the web version, is also a bit difficult to manage without a mouse on the desktop version. Clients also tend to have issues creating their very first sticky note or text box, so it may be helpful to make those features even more intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned earlier, Miro helps solve some of my solution design issues. Its in-app tools allow for creative brainstorming and whiteboarding. Some of the features (like the timer) help encourage timeboxed thinking and other ways to spur creativity despite video-chat fatigue.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're considering use of Miro for a host of reasons, from virtual teaming to workshop hosting, I'd recommend you try it and play in the system. It may seem intimidating at first for some users, but once folks get the hang of it, they will likely really enjoy it!

Powerful and easy to use

  • October 28, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how intuitive it is and how many possibilities it gives us to show our work to others or to organize images and ideas. It's a great platform and I don't know how I would live without it now!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I don't like. I think MIRO is very complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a UI UX Designer, so I make game flows on MIRO, and I also collect references of other games, other interfaces, colors and images.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend everyone to use MIRO

Easy Diagramming tool

  • October 27, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to get started, really intuitive, no training needed and it's a helpful way for our team to virtually collaborate and diagram out marketing campaign flows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when there are a dozen or so of us in there at a time, seeing each other cursors is distracting. It looks like flies are all over your screen, but I think there might be a feature to turn this off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtual Brainstorming and Diagramming mostly. Getting the campaign flows right for marketing campaigns or processes that have many steps. Making timelines and coordinating projects.
