Miro Transforms Remote Work into an Engaging and Organized Experience

  • June 29, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has completely transformed my experience with remote work, making it easy and collaborative. The platform's intuitive tools allow for seamless navigation and use, turning sessions into fun, beautiful, and interactive experiences. Miroverse templates are a fantastic source of inspiration, making it simple to start any project, from brainstorming random thoughts to organizing company all-hands meetings. The commitment to delivering an excellent user experience is evident in the platform's smooth operation and minimal frustrating bugs. Whether I'm running workshops, planning internal team activities, or managing general organization tasks, Miro consistently proves to be a versatile and indispensable tool. Its ability to engage teams and keep everything organized has made Miro an essential part of my professional toolkit - I use it every day, multiple times a day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the miroverse library was a bit more robust, but understand that takes time to have contributers develop. It would also be able to save templates to my own library and pull them into new boards - like an ice breaker or check in that I might use on several different boards. I wish it was a bit more friendly towards handwriting - I wish it had "smart handwriting" smilar to how it has smart drawing. It would also really help to have predefined/suggested color pallets to help make my boards visually pleasing - maybe an opportunity for some AI suggestions there: "insert this icon here, resize this text there" etc to lower the amount of effort required to make beautiful boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The transition to remote work created a lot of problems for my team. Miro helped us solve most of them. We have a central location with all the tools (and more than) we need that we would have in an office. The synchronisty/real time ability of the app is incredible, there is so little delay real time collaboration has pretty much gone away as an issue. It's also helped us with documentation - instead of having temporary things written on white boards, we have permanent boards we can go back and reference.

Miro help us to document our discovery and delivery of new features and products in a daily basis!!

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and learn, very nice UX, new features al weeks, the way Miro inform about new features and changes, and specially the posibility of collaboration, comments, notifications!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we lost changes on boards, not a very big deal, but sometimes is anoying. Heavy boards are slow, or takes much time to load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps my team in Planexware to document new features and products, as document already existing products in a very understandable way. Create boards with journey maps, diagrams, and wireframes using collaboration, many users at the same time, is a no-way-back!!
The Product Management Office has Miro as one of the formal documenting tools in Planexware.

Miro is a must-have

  • June 28, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has made collaboration in a remote or hybrid role possible. It is intuitive to use and there are SO many features that are available making Miro a tool suitable for almost anyone. (I say almost here because I'm sure there are exceptions). They are constantly adding new features and the community templates make it easy for you to get started. I use Miro for work and for my personal life - that's how much I enjoy using it! Recently, I've been impressed by their gen AI tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it's an infinite whiteboard I never know exactly what Zoom level to start on - everyone has their own preference!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration - working remotely and asynchronously as well as in real-time.

What do you like best about the product?
It has lot of tools to keep work updated, like comments, post its, the chance to @ someone.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need to make a change with the possibility to reduce all selected objects (including connectin lines, postits, text fonts etc) all at once. This happens when you start to work in miro with a wrong zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me diagramming things easy, and to chatch up with the work my team is doing. It's easy to use

Marvelous collaborative ideation tool

  • June 28, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the most the simplicity and the freedom that the tool gives you. It really is a white board without limits
What do you dislike about the product?
It should be easier to collaborate on a whiteboard with the real names of the participants, without having them to register.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Even if you are all working from home, at a distance, you can all look and collaborate on the same subject. It's like you're together in a virtual room.
The possibilities are nearly the same as if you we're all live in the same room

A great app with minor shortcomings

What do you like best about the product?
I'd say it's features are 'just needed' and the discoverability and intuitiveness to use them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I recently saw the Gen-AI feature in Miro and I tried using it for multiple purposes. It doesn't really does the job, most of the times I tried. For instance, I once tried to bring in a table of responses, select a column from it, and convert each row of that column into sticky notes with only the relevant text. Something similar to what I'd do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I largely use Miro for data cleaning and summarization (or triaging). Doing activities like removing irrelevant data from user responses, thematic analysis of user responses, workflow mapping, and empathy mapping on doc pages or other platforms is quite difficult. Miro is a very efficient virtual whiteboard that allows very effective collaboration for data refinement and summarization. Miro helps reduce my effort required on these activities. Their templates are just what I need for my work.

Love how collaborative it is!

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has so many templates I can use and it is so collaborative. It's very easy to use and has a lot of uses from brainstorming to even mapping.
What do you dislike about the product?
I actually haven't found anything to dislike about Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I usually use Miro as a way to collaborate and dump all the data. Then, together with my team I sort through it all and map it. It's very useful and very intuitive. Also it can be customized and can help show the stakeholders why this step is important.

The only collaboration tool you’ll ever need!

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The user friendly interface of Miro ensures that users have zero to minimal learning curve. Once you're on Miro, you can start exploring the features and functionalities in a very navigation friendly and user friendly manner. You'll hardly need to utilise the help/support section when exploring Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
On the 'retrospective' templates, would prefer if you could add 'upvote' provisioning so that we could also easily gauge the weightage or traction towards any specific recommendations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Easy to collaborate in real time.
2. Ability to map dependencies which was difficult in previously used tools.
3. Chat section is super helpful in ensuring that anything important isn't missed.
4. Huge numbers of ready to use templates saves considerable amount of time.

I always use Miro and I love it

  • June 27, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro everyday. With my work as a Designer/analyst I use it to visualize everything. I give a lot of only sessions with stakeholders and it's great to use it with a big group. I really happy with Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I can think of is that I didn't find an easy way to take the boards from one account to another one. I have recently switched to another company and I already miss my old Miro boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am doing a lot of sessions with stakeholders. That's a really big solution for getting a lot of feedback from everywhere.
