MIRO boards, a very intuitive, interactive collaboration platform
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a great "canvas" to share ideas and thoughts with larger groups especially in the post covid zoom / teams environment. There are many uses within the platform from brainstorming to schedule planning sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sketching live during conference could use better pen settings and be more versatile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Interactive collaboartion from any location.
A cool digital whiteboard that helps me collaborate creatively with others
What do you like best about the product?
It helps me visualise ideas, thoughts and feedback. I can collaborate with others at work but I also use it at home almost like a pintrest for my home decor ideas!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I wish it would support video features. This would potentially help me in my work (Product designer), to discuss user feedback sessions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its a great place to start low fidelity wireframes before I take them to figma. It allows me to get my team in the miro environment, which is easier for them to use than figma, to review ideas and ideate
Miro is a very useful tool, especially if you are part of an Experience Design team.
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro almost everyday. It helps me for several things, I use it to manage the team with the "Kan-ban" templates and the sprint retrospectives. It is also useful for analyzing information downloaded after a study with users and also for ideation workshops with our internal customers. I quite like that it gives me templates ready for some ideation workshops, if I don't know what to choose I can enter the templates of the community and choose the most suitable one. In addition, its use is quite simple for other members of the organization with a lower level of digitalization, in these workshops with the internal client, I see that users are easily integrated into the dynamics and know how to use the basic or necessary functionalities for the workshop that is being carried out.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have used the Android application and it is terrible, I tried it on a Lenovo Yoga and the application worked very slow and always asked for internet connection. If I used it with mobile data and for some reason I lost the signal, I could no longer see anything I was checking, I could never integrate it into my use for field research, I can only use Miro in the office. With its version for browsers it is similar, the internet update has often made me have to reload the page, even if my only action has been to update part of a board or I am writing on a card and due to the constant updating of the platform, I lose the text I was writing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves two main pains. Include more agile practices in the team, without the need to depend on a new platform and increase our operational expense. And create boards for collaboration with other areas of the company, with Miro I can have ideation sessions and leave aside the CJM or BMC so that it remains as a living document and others can constantly update it without learning to use a new platform.
great tool for team collaborations
What do you like best about the product?
easily collaborate with team members
can be used for many types of utilities (flow charts, calendar, brainstorming board, etc.)
can be used for many types of utilities (flow charts, calendar, brainstorming board, etc.)
What do you dislike about the product?
when you have too many boards sometimes you lose track of things
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
a space for team members to collaborate real time
Miro is great for team collaboration!
What do you like best about the product?
My team uses Miro every day for something. We keep a running task tracking page going with lists of things that need to get done on and it is easy for everyone on the team to edit and stay organized. We also use Miro to collabortate over design sessions with remote employees. We make presentations right in Miro and sometimes can just share them with clients or other external project team members for quick collaboration. I love that we can all work on the same presentation at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
For presentations making there are some issues making pages consistent as there are no grid or alignment tools across frames. Some of my coworkers still prefer Adobe InDesign for this although that makes collaboration much more difficult in my opinion. Another complaint is that you are not able to export individual frames to pdf - you are stuck exporting all frames and that can take a long time depending on the file and the quality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us collaborate with remote team members - it makes it fun too, sometimes we add goofy stickers or have post-it battles. It also helps the team stay on track with tasks - we have a running task board that is easy to refrence and use across the team.
Best in class UX, but hard to organize
What do you like best about the product?
The UX is fantastic, it's easy to get going and all users can jump in and be effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Does not support as advanced diagrams as other products, and having just projects instead of folders/tagging as other ways to organize is very limiting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing ideas together outside of just text, giving us spatial and relationships to visualize ideas.
Perfect tool for ideation, brainstorming, and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
We are using miro on a daily basis. I like the variety of options for visualizing tables, charts, business processes, etc. With Miro, it is very easy and quick to put together quality presentations and documentations and share items within an organization for feedback , editing, and resharing.
What do you dislike about the product?
improved APIs are needed to interact with a variety of items (e.g., Tables) to facilicate automations around miro. support for APIs feel a bit slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the issues of (1) jumping into several different platforms to create content (miro put most essential items in one place), (2) difficualties in sharing and collobarating on content realtime, and (3) finding useful templates and visuals asap.
Miro makes creating a project easier
What do you like best about the product?
I like that everything can be documented on a Miró board. Working in product development it helps everyone to see the ideation process. Several templates are available that make documenting the product easier (ie: customer road map, mind map, idea napkin, priorization templates).
Several people can work at once, remote meetings are certainly powered up by Miró. I use it every day.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it's not easily integrated with other applications (ie: office)
You can get lost in a big or complex board. When someone external to the project sees it, it's complex for them to follow the board. Even if you created it, and see it some months later, it can be complex to follow, if it isn't correctly documented.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote work gets easier with everyone working on the same board. And remote meetings are better when everyone can follow the board and collaborate in it.
The availability of the different graphiking tools is impressive, and helps diagram whatever scenario you are working on.

Our Department Couldn't Function Without It
What do you like best about the product?
I love that my team members call all collaborate together, which is a big deal because half of us are remote in different parts of the world. It's super easy it is to use – very minimal training is required to use it so our new members can get up and running on it quickly. I love how you can drop multiple page PDF's in there and extract them all very easily. We do our art approvals in Miro as well and it's very easy to leave comments and tag members for updates. We use Miro every single day in our daily work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the arrow tools were easier to use, sometimes you have to wave your curson on it for a bit to get it where you need it to go. I wish you could stretch things/photos without it constraining. I wish it was like Illustrator where you hold shift if you want to keep the proportions correct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving our approval process, and team members not having to email me for every approval. Its solving us to be collaborative and see eachothers designs and comments.
Miro is the best collaborative tool on the market, and is extremely versatile.
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that it is compleetly customisable and is constantly improving. Miro is super easy to use and learn. I use Miro every day at my company and without it collaboration would be much more difficult and slower. I have worked witht he miro team with feedback, and was super happy with the consideration to my comments. Miro is super easy to impliment to your company, and has a host or integrations you can add.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro Board organization can get a little limiting, and hard to organize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
