Multi-purpose platform that keeps getting better
What do you like best about the product?
I like how versatile it is, how easy it is to use for Retrospective with one team, User Journey map with another team, and just any kind of logic mind maps that one might need when visualizing. In the current times of working from home this is invaluable. Plus I love that platform just keeps getting better, providing integrations with other services to create eco system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike 2 things:
1. Paid plans. I don't mind paying, but in my specific case (am a Scrum Master in an IT company, working with roughly 25 people) 90% of my colleagues use Miro only twice a month - when we have Retro. It makes no sense for me to pay for that many people on a subscription basis if they just use it twice a month. I would love a plan where I can pay to have more boards, but will not have to pay for every single team member. Maybe a fixed amount to add more boards? e.g. $25 to add another board or something. For now I just stick to my free plan because it has unlimited users. Doesn't make much sense that once I start paying users become limited. Again - not against paying at all, just need a more flexible model
2. Not my complaint but a lot of my team members are unhappy that every time they go to Miro (once in 2 weeks) they have to sign in again AND they are showered with an update popup. Maybe give an option to not see those notifications as popups and just have them on the background.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Miro as a convenient cloud solution for Retrospectives with my IT teams, and recently for user journey maps and even some design mockups when we're discussing designs on the call. It helps that the board is unlimited, so I keep all retros in one place and can very fast see what we wrote in previous ones without switching documents, etc. It also allows for some creativity as you can easily post gifs, pics and emojis which helps lighten the mood.

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has been a great platform for the development of my postgraduate classes. Collaborative work is great and Miro allows it to develop smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
That my students remain linked to my account and not allow me to create more boards because of that. Similarly, I would like to have an educator account that allows me to have more functionality without having to pay for each member.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The possibility of involving my students in collaborative work.
It's become indispensable
What do you like best about the product?
Nice balance of features and ease of use
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major. Some functional changes f

Miro is more than a whiteboarding platform - it's evolved the way we work
What do you like best about the product?
Miro's versatility is in a league of its own but seamlessly meets users where they're at - whether a seasoned virtual collaborator or newer to the concept. This aspect has been critical for adoption at H&R Block - while an infinite whiteboard, the platform makes it easy to jump right in and get started from scratch or through a template.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike, but a couple things top of mind that would be great to be able to do in Miro is: 1) Hiding all overlay menus to reduce screen clutter when workshopping. 2) Lots more sticky note colors!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While COVID forced our teams physically apart, Miro brought us closer together and evolved how we work cross-functionally. From IT and Operations to Product, Strategy, and Design, our growing user base leverages Miro for more than workshops and product strategy - it's become a powerful communication tool for open knowledge sharing. We've seen significant efficiency gains through better collaboration and stronger alignment that have resulted in a better, more inclusive way to work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is genuinely more than just a fantastic online collaborative design tool; it will evolve how your teams work together, and you'll wonder why you didn't try it sooner. As you consider if Miro is suitable for you, don't just consider features; consider all the possibilities in how it could accelerate innovation, foster better collaboration, and drive more substantial alignment.
The digital whiteboard for everything
What do you like best about the product?
Miro provides in the digital world what a large wall in a physical workshop room used to do: it's the space for everyone to collaborate, create, organize, structure, visualize. I even use it for my brainstorming and organization, which came to me as a surprise. And even better than a natural wall, it is infinite and provides numerous ways to add elements. Plus, there are some useful features like a timer and voting capabilities built-in.
What do you dislike about the product?
Depending on your use case, it's not cheap. And some companies are not willing to use it due to GDPR and data security concerns - I'm not sure how much this is an issue with Miro, but it can make working with Miro in a client's company impossible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
* enabling teams to collaborate visually in a remote setting
* as a training tool
* as a home base for events like conferences or meetups, providing all information, links, documentation, and feedback
* personal brainstorming
* preparation of workshops, trainings, offerings and events with a few people

The #1 collaboration tool that you must use
What do you like best about the product?
I love MIRO's beautiful design, simple UI, infinite canvas, and all of the integrations available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not free forms yet, not text-styles options yet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MIRO solves virtual and face-to-face teamwork giving us an infinite canvas to share our ideas and communicate better thanks to easy-to-use visual support tools.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think this tool is a MUST.
Visual collaboration is a big step forward to effective communications and teamwork. MIRO is the best visual platform to do that.

A great tool for collaborative development
What do you like best about the product?
Miro makes it easy for a team to solve problems together. Everyone can draw or type at the same time. It's straightforward to get a lot of input quickly. Miro integrates well with Jira and other tools we use. Miro has lots of good templates for a wide range of development realted activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The video calling is adequate but not great. Miro can cope with huge documents but they can be tricky to navigate if you don't use sensible naming conventions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating software and used to rely on physical whiteboards. Miro is much better than using a whiteboard because the result is clearer, and it works great with remote participants.
Great tool for collaboration across multiple teams
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility. This tool is AMAZING to work async with other teams and enhance collaboration to a level I have not yet experienced before. As a PM, it has lots and lots of use cases and is used during all product lifecycle stages. It supports better communication and alignment. And since it covers my needs well, I tend to keep all my work on it, which facilitates my organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find it hard to find a given function the feature has - the UI is clean and it's just a matter of spending some time trying to find out what you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
