What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity and the amount of options that I have as a facilitator to run workshops virtually. I literally do not see myself going back to a "real" whiteboard as Miro gives me better options.
Oh - and of course the Miroverse
Oh - and of course the Miroverse
What do you dislike about the product?
I literally can't think of anything essential. One minor thing is that with especially bigger boards, the loading time tends to be a bit more "lengthy", but there are good workarounds available.
A library with pictures (free to use) would be amazing.

Sometimes it may be hard to share a link that will be available for everyone - some features require a signed-in licensed user and even though I have the feature available I cannot share it with newcomers.

Mostly I am using it to create interactive screens that allow my team to cooperate while working on a software design for developing web applications. This tool is great for this purpose.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
What are you waiting for? Visual communication made easy. Multiuser real-time editing.
The best collaboration tool I've ever used.
What do you like best about the product?
Miro flexibility allows me to utilize it to fulfill a wide range of UX design jobs, from research to prototyping. I really like the fact that you can share your boards or designs with individuals who do not have a Miro account and they can still engage with your boards and provide comments. This is especially beneficial when working with stakeholders who do not want to register an account for things they will never use outside of meetings with me. The interconnections are also really beneficial. The ability to import Google Drive files and Asana tasks during our team's brainstorming sessions has enabled us to collect ideas that had previously been distributed across platforms and interact with them in more innovative ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you need a tool to produce high-fidelity mockups or prototypes, it's not as comprehensive as Figma or Adobe XD. Miro, on the other hand, has shown to be more beneficial than other tools in collaborating with stakeholders and coming at a judgment on the general path a design should follow. I also wish Miro could design shapes using the Pen Tool and then fill them with the Paint Bucket Tool. There have been several occasions when I'd like to be able to produce basic artwork without having to use Illustrator, export it, and then submit it to Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've utilized Miro to interact and connect in ways different than the traditional video conferences. I'm resolving to receive stakeholder input as quickly as possible, and I enjoy how simple it is to build lo-fi wireframes. It makes it simpler to develop a large number of ideas and communicate them to stakeholders in a form that they can comprehend and see. When I use it as a planning tool, it also helps me to illustrate how different pieces or concepts relate. Previously, I created flowcharts using Diagram.IO or a standalone diagramming application. Miro is fantastic because it allows me to generate a wireframe and then, on the same dashboard, a flowchart that depicts what happens on the backend when a user interacts with the website.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The quickest approach to get through the first learning curve is to get right in and experiment with the software. Many aspects are extremely straightforward, especially if you are familiar with popular keyboard shortcuts, but it may take some time to become used to them. Take use of all of the templates available in Miroverse. I would recommend starting with the free version since it has a lot of versatility in how you may use it and interacts with a lot of other tools and platforms.
