Super useful tool for free-flow collaboration in teams

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an exceptional tool for creative expression and visualization of team members' ideas and thoughts. The canvas is unlimited and can be organized in many different ways, which helps in collaboration and brainstorming. The tool's flexibility in supporting agile ceremonies is great. It has enabled us in the team to maintain an iterative and responsive workflow. Also, we can handle very professional presentations there, making it great for engaging with stakeholders effectively.

The real-time collaboration feature is also another amazing thing, it has helped my team quite a lot to work asynchronously. It also has amazing templates that help to get started, like user story mapping and SWOT analysis.

One last thing that I find quite nice is the integration with Jira, where we can also add tickets and reference them there in a nice visual way.

We regularly depend on the tool for our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features are pretty hidden. I spend some time to get where they are, and some I don't even know about until a friend or colleague points me out, and I would say wow, I never thought this existed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me and my team in so many ways. For example, we struggle with visualizing data models and finding a tool that allows us to do so. We also use it for our agile ceremonies, and it saves a lot of time in preparing and organizing presentations and activities for our ceremonies, such as retros.
We also use it to make presentations to stakeholders and reviews, we use the presentation feature quite heavily.

Streamlining Collaboration and Planning

  • May 03, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Firstly, its ease of collaboration is a game-changer for my team. We can seamlessly brainstorm and share ideas in real-time, regardless of our locations. Secondly, the visualization capabilities are fantastic. Complex concepts become clear and easy to understand with Miro's intuitive interface, making communication a breeze. I also love how versatile it is—we use it for everything from backlog prioritization to user persona creation, and it always delivers. The integration with Jira helps us link epics directly to items on our story map and it's easy to find the information even weeks after. Implementation in the team was very smooth, we just had to invite the team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Miro is a valuable tool, there are areas for improvement. The mobile app's user experience could be enhanced to match the desktop version. Additionally, offline access would be beneficial for users in areas with unreliable internet connections. Addressing these issues would further enhance Miro's usability and effectiveness in our workflow. I use it multiple times a day and being able to use it on the go would be a massive help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Whiteboard for remote or hybrid workshops
- Visualising ideas as we speak
- Finding and applying product management templates

Miro is such a useful tool for brainstorming

  • May 03, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- Very easy to use, drop down the item
- Support my flow of thinking
- Can use it any time any where
- A variety of useful feature
What do you dislike about the product?
- There some features need improving, such as designing
- The only thing I dislike about miro is just somewhat about its limitations in terms of designing or linking objects features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I mentioned in previous questions, instead of taking so many steps to make a presentation (create outline, break the content then design slide), the UX UI of miro is very friendly in terms of using it to make a mind-mapping presentation
