See the big picture and in the weeds view at the same time

What do you like best about the product?
Love the ability to organise information and sensemake large amounts of data by moving it around and clustering. So good for seeing the big picture but also for drilling down into a specific area. Everyday I have at least 2 Miro boards open at a time. Have only needed to use customer support once when a big heavy Miro board became corrupted and we could not open it. CS was able to duplicate dthe board on the back end for us. Integrates so well with Google Drive for linking docs slides and spreadsheets. Love the expand feature for pdfs. Super easy to implement on a new project or with a new client.
What do you dislike about the product?
More postit colors. I often use a color gradient to show hierarchy so would be great to have a couple more shades of purple and the blues are not the same tone so it doesn't work as well as the yellows and greens. Would be extremely helpful to be able to create folders within a project. We have so many Miro boards for any given project that it would be helpful to organize them within folders and subfolders
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real time virtual collaboration. Big picture mapping. A canvas to add builds or feedback by clients

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro works well for in class group colloaboration on questions pertaining to class reading.

Miro is my go-to for creative collaboration and interactive activities

  • March 21, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I started using Miro as an online tool for brainstorming sessions, and it quickly became my go-to for creative collaboration and leading remote groups through intereactive activities. It requires almost zero explanation for new workshop participants. They get the hang of how to use it in practically no time — less than a minute in most cases. And no one feels threatened by the humble post it note.

It's such a versatile and easy-to-use tool, that I now use it for a range of projects including wireframes to presentations.

I frequently consult the Miroverse when considering new projects. It holds a wealth of great ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
My presentations aren't linear, and I'd like the ability to navigate the board more easily while I'm presenting. Perhaps some basic links between objects? For example, I'd like to be able to link from an element on one side of the board (like a post it note or a button) to another part of the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps remote teams collaborate and brainstorm. It literally gets everyone on the same page.

Ability to work live and cross-collaborate with teams and share out links for feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes boards become slow and lag when the file has many images or are too large.

Limitations on text styling e.g. fonts, line height, character spacing, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps our team by allowing us to collaborate on mockup designs and outline diagrams of user flows.

Miro facilitates more productive discussions

What do you like best about the product?
I love the way Miro facilitates engaging and interactive discussions where all can participate and contribute. Miro helps us to have more focused discussions - making better use of our time. In general, the staff I lead have been able to engage with the Miro board easily- picking up how to navigate the board, write on post-its, etc. This has helped us to integrate it into our team meetings easily.

I've also been able to use it to diagram our organizational structure - giving helpful visuals to use in meetings, presentations, and reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's hard to envision exactly how to set up a discussion. This takes some creativity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps our leadership team to collaborate effectively even as we are geographically dispersed. We have can more concise and helpful discussions than we've had in the past.

We recently restructured our leadership - and Miro was a key tool in dreaming and building the new structure. Miro also made it easy to present the results to our larger leadership community.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have only run into the difficulty of not being able to be apart of various groups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is helping me solve a range of problems from service design for a website launch, research for design towards domestic violence, and other brainstorming/mind mapping that comes into play

Miro has made our collaboration process streamline

  • March 21, 2024

What do you like best about the product?
I am a graphic designer. Moodboarding, sketching, collaboration and just sharing ideas are a major part of my job. Miro has made it easy to throw out and organize thoughts and ideas. The stickynote feature is awesome for us to take quick notes. We use it daily on my team and I even create boards for myself if I have an individual project. It is very easy to upload images, copy images off the internet or take screenshots and put them onto a board. Customer support has been available when we have issues and is quick to help!
What do you dislike about the product?
A few of the issues I have run into are color dulling of screenshoted images. If i am in a hurry and need to just screenshot a design I can do that, but the colors dull for some reason. I would love to see a more custamizable crop tool so I could make edits on the board to make it more design friendly. Maybe a masking tool? Sometimes we need to take a part of a design and place it on another concept and the ability to have more control over cropping and masking would be helpful!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is a great way for my team to collaborate. We make moodboards, establish territories, sketch and share designs. It is a staple for our design process.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how dynamic it is to allow me to flow in my work, the way I organize my thoughts fits very well with the Miro structure, plus my students and clients love seeing my boards and working with them
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, especially with some students who do not have very up-to-date PC equipment, it is difficult for them to load Miro and make it flow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has mainly allowed me to increase engagement in my classes with my students.
