  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro allows you to collaborate easily live with a large group of people. It makes brainstorming fun and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it isn't easy to synthesize what you brainstorm through miro afterward because there is so much information in a Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps with brainstorming in large groups and getting opinions from many different people at once.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that everyone can be at the same time at the same place, making grow and shine all kind of projects.
I think the visuals of Miro are the best in market.
And, last but not least, I am big fun of the templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like Miro to develop new templates more often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There´s no need to explain the benefits in remote work, it´s pretty obvious. But I also find Miro very useful when I work on my own. It let´s me think out of the box, with no structure.
It´s an amazing tool for retros with the team!

    Education Management

Great collaboration platform

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has allowed us to recapture some of the old "whiteboarding" magic. It's not the same as meeting in person, but the next best thing. It will allow us to move forward as a hybrid "in-office/at home" workplace, which is great. Best features are the ability to frame discussions and to draw collaboratively
What do you dislike about the product?
File organisation is an area that could be improved when used across the enterprise. It is not always easy to find boards that you have used, or been invited to some time ago.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is helping us to solve the problem of how to balance working from multiple locations (homes and office) and remain productive. To help us collaborate and develop new ideas and innovate. Simply, without Miro we would not be able to drive transformations or design new initiatives across the enterprise in the same way.

Fun collaboration tool

What do you like best about the product?
The open canvas to create and collaborate in any way you can think of makes it great to zoom into details and out for overview, whether it's a large project overview or a collection of different things we have done together it gives you a great place to work together.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need to know how a board works when you first arrive, and there isn't anything that will help you there since we all work in different ways and you'll have to learn from your peers. I would love to have layers added so I can create things on different layers and hide/show as needed :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been running all sorts of team meetings, and it's great to keep those in one place and jump into old stuff when needed later. We've run large meetings and used miro for gathering questions beforhand and that has been great for everyone to see the questions and even answer or add to them before the meeting.

    Computer Software

Great features and the software never lags

  • January 04, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature is the ability to create flow diagrams on an infinite canvas. We use it for making engineering diagrams, brainstorming on wireframes as a precursor to Figma for hi-fi designs. Works well and has a great feature get the job done in multiple areas. Also, I love the fact that its fast to load and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The freehand drawing feature is a miss on the iPad when using the stylus, the shape detection features when doing freehand drawing also doesnt work everytime. Would be good to create more than one note/doc per board too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for engineering drawings and collaborating on UX. It helps us solve the problem of brainstorming together as remote team on flowcharts and wireframes.

The simplicity of creating content, the very original and easy-to-use templates, in addition to the explanation for using them
What do you dislike about the product?
Really, I still haven't found anything that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me organize a presentation for the work team, it is quite simple to use.

Uninhibited problem solving potential

What do you like best about the product?
Fast, flexible, and intuitive. Provides an excellent means to explore and develop communication and collaborative styles to bring teams together. Incredible for creating maps of concepts with structure to manage and execute upon problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
I understand why you can't use it offline, but working on boards in an offline mode would be incredibly valuable. Allowing the owner to lock the board or check it out to work on it would be huge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mapping out enterprise architecture and data flow, focusing on defining processes and people. Having a singular collaborative space allows for collective review and editing to ensure that the information adequately communicates to as wide an audience as possible.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Explore as much of the free tier until you inevitably decide to upgrade. It's worth it.

What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility for simultaneous work with your coworkers. It let you know who does the last thing in Miro and it has a lot of predefined schems to do groupal analisys.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes somebody can does changes that you don't want, but it's not a real problem because you can restore the data lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kobetsu Kaizen events, rainstorming, daily Kaizen panels.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It has tutorials to learn to use the program

Amazing as a virtual whiteboard!

What do you like best about the product?
I like how the MIRO auto-completes my flowcharts. It's almost as if it knows what I'm going to do next.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the fact that some people in my company don't have access to it entirely. So, sharing becomes a little difficult. This is probably because they work as external consultants, and hence run into security issues. But it tends to hamper collaboration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I'm working with my designer, we use MIRO to map the current flow of actions performed. This is done even before we come up with UX. We learnt that UX iterations are expensive since they are still higher fidelity. MIRO iterations are very cheap and easy to follow. They offer the right level of focus on core flows.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Teach your teams how to create mind-maps and process-flow diagrams. Once they are sold on the idea, using a tool like MIRO will seal the deal and concretise the habit of creating diagrams as part of their work.
