Perfect for Business, Good for IT

  • June 14, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It an amazing too to visiualise all aspects of business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I miss a couple of technical diagram types, that are actually useful. For example I could not find any good tool for sequence diagrams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We found miro extremly useful in customer journey mapping, estimates and other business related aspects.
As developers we also use it for some technical diagrams. These are less capables, but visually better presented than other technical diagram tools, and that makes decision making easier.

Very useful and visual for organizing projects schematically

What do you like best about the product?
Ease and variety when creating very visual schemes, offering a wide range of templates to create and design a creative strategy.

Additionally, if you share the project, many more people can work on the same board without needing to create different ones.

There is also the possibility of grouping various independent projects on the same board, which is appreciated for having everything compiled in a single workspace.

It has no limits on boards or spaces and is very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since it is such a large space, sometimes finding something becomes a bit complicated. The use of the mouse zoom is essential. I think it would be ideal to be able to locate projects easily with a click, for example.

Another thing that doesn't convince me is that if you want to include an image, you can't just do a CTRL V. You have to drag the image or import it.

Internet is needed to work in this application and for all changes to sync, which at some point can also be a disadvantage if you don't have access to the network.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far, I haven't had any further problems.

Miro is the perfect place for collaboration

  • June 14, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
With miro I am able to fully visualize my ideas and thoughts, I am able to collect insights and use it as a virtual mind map. I enjoy collaborating with collegues in team meetings or discoveries or workshops. With the stickers and emojis I am able to personalize my ideas or react to other peoples thoughts. It is very helpful that i can connect Jira with Miro to move around tickets and reference things.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little overwhelming if the amount of information and material on a miro board is very large. Especially if it's someone elses board. Though I suppose that depends on how well the creator can design the flow and architecctre of the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me collaborate online. It helps me visualize my ideas.

Miro is our main content and collaboration tool at our Learning & Development company

  • June 14, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use with new workshop participants. I also really enjoy the AI features and being able to quickly jot down ideas and organize them, across various media formats. We use Miro every day at our company and it's been supoer easy to onboard new team members too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the comment feature could be better. I have lost comments before as currently you comments are not copied over to a new board when you copy objects like a post-it over.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is solving collaboration with multiple online participants at our L&D company. It also helps a lot with documenting, collecting and refining ideas. It keep everyone on the same page. We even use it instead of PowerPoint via its presentation feature.

Miro changed the way I work and plan my life

  • June 13, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I started using Miro only for work related to digital product management, and even in that context, it was revolutionary, especially by enabling collaborative use of boards and creating fluid and less bureaucratic organization. Then, after a while, I also began using Miro for my personal organization, whether for travel planning or dynamic presentations, organizing study materials.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro sometimes takes a bit of time to load when opened, but nothing critical. It would be nice to have a better view of changes made by others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me organize complex projects by allowing me to design workflows easily and quickly. The fact that it is highly visual and allows the use of different elements and colors makes asynchronous communication very accessible as well.

Miro has been exactly what I needed: a visual way to communicate that takes little effort to learn.

What do you like best about the product?
The boards are laid out in a visually appealing, clear, and organized way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had some confusion around navigating multiple accounts (invites from others and my own) and the services available based on different account tiers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drafting ideas/programs/projects that are layered or complex – it's probably the thing I am most excited to do but struggled to share before using Miro.

A Flexible Platform for Collaboration

  • June 13, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a wonderful collaboration tool that offers tremendous flexibility. The predefined templates allow me and my team a tremendous variety of models with which to document and develop our ideas. I use Miro almost every single workday, and have even created a personal account for some of my own uses outside of my day-to-day job.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if Miro could export graphs such as mindmaps in a format that is more easily ingested by tools such as GPTs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is providing a semi-structured model with which I can develop my thoughts and collaborate with others.

What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just helps to visualise and streamline common processes

Great space for working out complex ideas into a visual representation

  • June 13, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the multitude of shapes, colors, and arrows you can create and the easy ability to copy, paste & quick edit them. It helps to color code the designs I am working out so the combination of variety and ability to keep consistency is important to me
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't feel like the templates are particularly useful to me. Each time I have tried to use them I feel like I get trapped with trying to alter sizing in a way that feels correct, then ultimately get frustrated and scrap the whole thing in favor of creating my own from scratch
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro primarily helps me map out complicated workflows across our business as we look to solve for bottlenecks and make the business more scaleable

"OUR TEAM NOW WORKS TOGETHER MORE EFFICIENTLY- RELAYING OUR THOUGHTS GRAPHICALLY IS MUCH EASIER"

  • June 13, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Teams from our company typically work both on-site and remotely because the majority of our projects are centered around research analysis for business sales development and growth.Because of its pre-made layouts and voting features, Miro has also proved helpful in enhancing meeting dynamics. The ability to participate from any location is made possible by the mobile app, which is especially helpful for remote or mobile teams. We connect these teams using Miro, which gives us a shared workspace where we can meet virtually and work together on the projects. Moreso, I love how Miro helps us to plan our project works which includes creating diagrammatic representations of the projects for easier visualization and monitoring
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much comes to mind right now, I'm a true lover of Miro, but despite its benefits, it can be expensive when sophisticated features or a huge number of users are needed. The platform can also occasionally be slow to load boards with a lot of information or visual elements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro can easily generate and share process diagrams and designs, which is highly appreciated by both my team and clients. Having a system in place that allows us to talk about and organize our work clearly has been quite helpful. It's also been beneficial to my colleagues because it doesn't require any prior knowledge of mind mapping or diagramming! With the aid of Miro's top-notch visualization capabilities, we can easily visualize our projects and gain a clear picture of their development. We can work together uninterruptedly with other teams that are working remotely thanks to Miro
