Great for documenting complex code flow
What do you like best about the product?
infinite canvas, ipad support, apple pencil support, ability to track and resolve comments from teammates, ability to search across the board, excellent performance smoothness
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not too fond of the lack of collapsible elements. If I want to document complex code, I don't want my diagrams to look complicated in the first look. I want them to be able to click and expand part of the diagram. Just like in Google Maps, we get more details when I zoom in more and more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Miro to solve the knowledge transfer of our codebase. We document code flow, data flow, state diagrams, user scenarios mapping, etc., in Miro. We also use it to figure out how to refactor a complex code in our codebase
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't come here with the expectation of a "do it all" solution. It will work superbly for you if you look at it for solving a particular use-case like diagramming, brainstorming, project visualization, etc.
Best virtual white board
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is the greatest tool for collaborating virtually. It's very easy to learn and use. You can easily upload presentations and mark up as a group; you can use custom templates; it has graphic tools and even built in creative thinking exercises.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had spell check and a global word search.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used Miro to collaborate with classroom settings, engage clients in interactive workshops, brainstorm with colleagues, and self-organize. Miro has become a primary software in my virtual work environment.
Super Great Miro!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that miro has easy export options and the ability to create a presentation!
What do you dislike about the product?
The ONLY thing I don't like is when I place a frame I can't move the whole thing I have to drag the edges around until I find the right place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Miro to create flow charts of all my processes to have a broad look. This meant I could review the processess and save time.
Great tool for brainstorming and general visualization
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Miro provides a real-time tool that you can use to collaborate with teammates remotely. I personally love to use whiteboards when working with teammates, but since we're all working remotely, we can't do that in person. Miro lets you do that. Not just that, but you can also use it to visualize personal tasks and to create your own innovative plans.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's really nothing that comes to the top of mind, but it may be beneficial to be able to collaborate with individuals not on your own Miro account. It may be possible, but collaborating with partners at different companies would be interesting.

Nice and very usefull templates and tools
What do you like best about the product?
Building a project using wireframes is so easy with the wireframe library it helped me show my stakeholders how the product would look. Also, the templates for UX research are well diagramed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had some trouble in the past leaving a team and preserving a copy of the work, even creating a new board. I had to create a new account and start from zero. Maybe a export feature would be helpfull.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I save a lot of time using UX research templates, making a low fidelity prototype is very easy, I feel like I'm more productive and can focus better on other tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you, like me, are users that mostly code but need to fast prototype or make diagrams well presented, Miro will save you a lot of effort making templates, selecting colors, spacing elements, and more.
A feature i look fordward to use is the scrum poker, I have been triying to use some websites that are suposed to help with that but did not worked well, hope Miros way work way better even with a free version.

Something that I was searching for a while and it is all there what I need
What do you like best about the product?
Templates, infinite board, multiple spaces
What do you dislike about the product?
Can not attach a concrete link from a different space - for example - when I add like a summary and I want to link it to a different space in a specific place - I can not do that. Also I can not add a link to a spaceific table square
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visual representation. Benefits would be that everyone can express themselves however they are comfortable with.
Miro is the best tool for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
People can simultaneously work in the same Miro Board and collaborate on whiteboards, mindmaps and diagrams. You can also pin people to your view, making it fantastic to present inside Miro without sharing your screen directly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Miro Application makes my MacBook run wild - but the online version works the same, so that is nothing to complain about. It would only be a shortcut for getting faster to your boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the past, we have discussed topics in Teams and Zoom sessions. The difficulty in here is, that only one person can share and it gets more and more complicated to follow when multiple persons are speaking up at the same time. With Miro they can choose whether they speak or directly make adjustments on whatever you are working on.
Pimp up visual collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Many themes to choose from to have a ready base. Initially very simple learning curve, so it is easy to use. Remote online discussion improved. It is providing inbuilt features to use instantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited shapes are available for Diagram. Standardized UML shapes are not available. There are glitches that sometimes you need to restart your browser. The export settings/options are few and unclear
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows you to use a simple tool for remote workshops. Its intuitiveness allows anyone to work on it immediately without having first received training. Miro has all I want in a single tool: - works online - storage for PNG drawings, like a library - works nice with my pen tablet - wide variety of colors - control over background color and contour color - work with text and geometric figures - connect objects - group elements - fix elements and lock them in the background.
The app can be used for virtually every area of life and work!
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about using Miro is the lightness of the application, even with the immense amount of functions, it doesn't weigh the computer down and so it can stay open without problems while working. In addition, the availability of templates with different methodologies greatly speeds up the creation process.
What do you dislike about the product?
As much as it is a complete application, I believe that it should have focus. So, I think the presentation, chat, and video call functions can hinder the application's development since they are pretty bad compared to those already available in the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems regarding the construction of ideas with the team, where the tool enables centralization of activities developed in different frames on the same board.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a lightweight tool that takes on the role of many other tools and is easy to use, use Miro.
Excellent tool for collaborating in person and remotely
What do you like best about the product?
The collaborative aspect is just great. So easy for people to join a board and start co-creating. I also love the flow-chart building tools, the easiest out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Working with people using different hardware, I find that some struggle with the zoom in/out feature - which is essential when using massive boards. Works really well with a mouse and rollerball, but not everyone has that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualising complex flow charts and decision matrices. It makes it so much easier to get others to interrogate my thinking, and to adjust and update. It is also incredibly easy to use (i love the connector lines with adjustable text!!)
