    Professional Training & Coaching

Miro takes care of both presentation and collaboration needs.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy for teams to collaborate on Miro. move things around, add content. Most users find it intuitive after a short introduction. A good replacement for whiteboard, but better.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit complicated to host. As a coach, I need to invite people as guests, and not to teams, unless I want a hefty bill. This limits the use of Miro for the people I coach. I can't invite them to a space where all their boards are but need to share individual links. In most cases that is ok.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do everything in miro. Think, plan, teach, share.

Great tool for remote collaboration

  • November 11, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro enables us to effectively work as if we were all in a room but remotely. The tools and addons available make layouts simple to create, such as flowcharts and wireframes and then annotating with virtual post-its and swanky arrows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you can experience network lag but haven't experienced it in a while, possibly due to our internet connections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Due to the Covid pandemic, it was not possible for us to all brainstorm and collaborate in person. Miro has enabled us to all work remotely with nearly the same levels of collaboration and participation as if we were all together.

Easy to quickly build visual stories and share with colleagues

What do you like best about the product?
It's nice that it is actually one big canvas that you can fill, like an endless whiteboard.
I use it to create roadmaps, create an overview of my research and present Sprint reviews to stakeholders (really like the Jira plugin for this)
What do you dislike about the product?
In the beginning, I was struggling a bit with the navigation, moving around the canvas was such a pain I almost quit using Miro. But then I found out I had to change the navigation from 'mouse' to 'trackpad' and it was way better!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First problem I solve is making research easy to share and explain to stakeholders; since it's easy to add images and links, you get a good overview quite fast. Besides that we also solved the problem of non-interactive sprint review sessions by using Miro; it's fun to ask people to leave comments on sticky notes with emoji during the meeting
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use plugins like Jira and Figma to create an easy overview of everything you're working on. Tip: use it as well for your team retrospectives, it's fun to collaborate, add pictures and everyone can directly contribute, my team really likes it.

Miro is a dialogical platform

  • November 11, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Our company - Dialogues & Design Ltd - is consulting and training dialogical skills. For that purpose, Miro is an excellent digital tool: thinking together!
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be good to develop the template structures further on. Anyhow these templates are working very well and they fulfill our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dialogues are based on thinking together and listening. Mainly this works best in face-to-face meetings, but Miro helps in this when you are in a virtual connection.

What do you dislike about the product?
Well, I've had to think about this one. Sometimes I struggle about making flowcharts with templates
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been using Miro mostly at the discovery phase working as a designer, clustering all my research insights

A complete game changer

  • November 11, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to collaborate remotely with teams and the infinite amount of space on each 'board'. This has been a complete gamechanger for our company, especially during the pandemic. Also love all the different 'drag and drop' elements of the design and how tables autosize.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I dislike, although I'd love some additional design elements (eg, ability to create stand alone thick vertical straight and curved lines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workshopping ideas with teams, sharing ideas visually during remote meetings.

Super useful app I always needed

  • November 11, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can organize my thoughts in a natural manner.
I like that I can collect all types of information in one visual place.
I like its templates.
I like that I can present and share the board with my clients and coworkers.
I like that I can sketch inside the board and make notes with stickers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when the board is heavy loaded, it takes time to open it. It takes time to generate the images.
I don't like it when I want to connect an arrow on someplace on a large image; it jumps to one of its borders. But I can understand why it happens, and there are a few tricks to overcome it, like placing an additional object on top of the image and then connecting the arrow to this object.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use MIRO for all my design processes. I collect all the information needed for the project on the board; I make the suitable composition of this information. I place there all the visual outputs of my work. It makes it easy to control the chaotic process of creation. And I don't need all these physical whiteboards that I had.
