Creating a collaborative environment for teams using Miro
What do you like best about the product?
One of the standout features of Miro is its collaborative environment, allowing teams to work together seamlessly regardless of their location. The software's vast array of visual collaboration tools, such as virtual whiteboards, sticky notes, and mind maps, fosters creativity and enhances productivity. Miro's integration capabilities with popular project management and communication platforms further streamline workflows. The extensive template library makes it easy to get started and customize boards to meet specific needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the tools Miro provides are questionable. I double-checked every detail of my notes, but the online application suddenly crashed. Also, image processing capabilities for panoramic construction or document-scanned processing could be massively improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This software has been a game-changer for me when it comes to remote collaboration. It allowed my team to communicate and brainstorm effortlessly without any problems. With its virtual workspace, there was no longer a need for physical whiteboards or sticky notes. We could collaborate regardless of where we are. The nature of Miro enhances the sharing of information, making it easier for us to ideate and make decisions together. This software has truly revolutionized our project collaboration, saving us time and boosting overall productivity.

Experienced
What do you like best about the product?
Simple and fast way to collaborate and, visualize ideas, take notes. I can organize thoughts in a single place. When compared to Mural, Freehand feels more organic to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could have a few more shades of light gray. This would help with creating wireframes. The option to ungroup applies to all elements. However, sometimes I want to ungroup only the top-level grouping, rather than everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows my developer to be part of creating process by inviting them to put their ideas inform of wireframes by using pre-build wireframe components that works as lego blocks.
It works, but falls behind compared to other services

It's very easy to use in it's UI and tools that it offers. The collaboration aspect works as intended and has helped our team work together well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It falls behind in terms of text formatting, tools, and features compared to Miro and FigJam.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the ability to map out work and wireframing before going into designs. We use InVision & Craft to upload our design work from Sketch and it helps that there is freehand on the same platform to plan, ideate and research before designing.
Great tool for capturing and presenting thoughts and workshopping ideas
What do you like best about the product?
Stickie and custom colors. Linking between them. Various methods of grouping components together

Lacking the capability to connect items with granularity. Fussy way to add users to the board.

To be able to capture thoughts and references and organizing them into presentable buckets.

What do you dislike about the product?
It took me awhile to find that "Explore" icon is the place where I can add any of the nice templates in the same board. Other than that, I like everything else!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a UX Research and my job sometimes is to alight the stakeholders arounfd the insight from the research we have. One of the challenges is always make sure that any stakeholder I want to invite understand the interface. With Invision I haven't seen any propblems with that. W tried other solutions like Figma, but it was not so easy to learn

What do you dislike about the product?
Text size usually gets too small when typing into a shape - it has some strange text-resizing algorithm.
Hard to copy and paste and move elements.
Too much manual effort for updating prototype screens. When syncing prototype screens, they do not automatically update when the screens update.
Wished the prototype screens linked directly to the spec page.

Solid wireframing and sketching app
What do you like best about the product?
So far I've appreciated that the interface is quite easy to use. I've used a number of similar platforms like Miro, XD, and Figma, and in the month that I've been using Freehand so far it's had the functionality I need and is also simple and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I've not found anything that I dislike about Freehand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Freehand helps me quickly sketch out an idea to share with my teammates (like a landing page wireframe), and is also where I do strategy whiteboarding for my content marketing framework.
