Great platform for collaboration for team members and design thinking.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the different templates you can use in Miro. I think this platform is easy for users to learn and operate. I also like how customizable the workspace is when responding to and designing the space.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly like that I could not share my virtual workspace with people outside my organization. I also thought it was interesting. I also noticed that it could be a learning curve to navigate coming from Jamboard or Padlet so more tutorials would be nice for struggling users. I also do not think Miro is a good platform for younger users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using a virtual collaborative space where our team can share in design thinking while solving wicked problems. Miro has also be helpful in finding solutions with mind mapping.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a very collaborative experience where you can experiment with all sorts of people and have a lot of different tools to enhance your business. Its unlike anything I've ever seen.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the website can be a bit slow; this may be due to the number of visitors using the site and thus prohibits a good experience. But most of the time, everything runs smoothly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I go on InVision to brainstorm ideas and think about new ways to solve problems that I myself may be having in my studies or job. I also think its a great tool to graph and design.

Intensified virtual collaboration

What do you like best about the product?
After trying several tools offering virtual meetings, Miro proved to beat them all. It allows remote working, ensuring no team member is left out due to connectivity issues. Also, it encourages real-time visuals when dealing with a team, making conversations regarding complex topics easy to plan and discuss.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro is an excellent tool for remote discussions on more complex and sensitive topics. Such remote talks can be easily documented on Miro. It was also easy to adapt to meet one's needs, which helped every team member.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helped reduce the time spent moving from one venue to another to attend meetings. It also allowed working remotely, ensuring that work did not pause due to an individual's location. Lastly, Miro offers a wide range of functions to choose from that help visualize and track a project's progress.

Miro Facilitate Team Collaboration

  • April 11, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the large artboard to store large-scale diagrams, especially when working on service blueprints. Also, the collaboration feature is good for working with colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, it is slow when more than ten people work simultaneously on Miroboard. The templates varieties are not enough to cover most of the diagrams as a UX designer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Align the goals and the strategy for the business. Prevent work in the silo with the online collaboration tools to work together across different disciplines in the company.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very intuitive to operate. The functions on the toolbar are easy to understand, and even if you don't know how to use them, you can quickly find them, so even first-time users can easily get started. There are also plenty of flexible templates available, so you can create a board that fits your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are difficult to use. For example, it may not work well when writing or moving characters. Also, in the case of the free version, some functions may not be available due to restrictions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is very useful in product management work.
For example, to share our product vision, we used Miro to create our product roadmap. This helped clarify the big picture and help the whole team understand the direction of the product.

What do you like best about the product?
Fast and equipped with the proper or fantastic to efficiently convey and illustrate the work. Sticky notes and flowcharting certainly help a lots. Much better than those offered by Mircosoft.
What do you dislike about the product?
It hangs pretty often and causes more restarts. Nothing I would be able to see to resolve the issue. It needs to provide a more stable and essential to save the last work done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Engineering and meeting follow-ups

Overall satisfaction

  • April 06, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the collaborative aspect and the different templates available. I also like the voting feature and the new feature for Presenting. I haven't used other competitor's tools so I am not sure how it compares but I am overall pleased with Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is that some of the ways to use it are not intuitive. For example, it is not as straight forward to group everything in a frame once an item is placed in the frame. One thing that really bothers me of late is that it is not possible to lock sticky notes when they are in a frame.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has created a helpful collaborative tool for hybrid meetings. I use Miro for a lot of my meetings for that reason. It also has helped with documenting processes and designs in a visual easy way. It is an excellent tool for workshops.
