I use Miro for flow charts and I really appreciate how it helps with organizing and provides tools for ease of use. I like the intuitive UI, which makes it easier to share and present. It's also great that I can organize multiple diagrams within one workflow, creating a good story and grouping things together. The initial setup was very user friendly.

Versatile for Creativity, Needs Better Image Control
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Miro for everything from brainstorming and presenting to development and project management. It's easy to organize all kinds of information in one place, which is crucial for designers who need to sketch and show visuals quickly while still being able to tag things and make lists. Sticky notes are my favorite feature; they make it easy to track who said what by assigning colors and organizing or keeping them messy in countless ways. They're also fun and support a collaborative environment, especially when working with clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that there was a way to mask images and change opacity for them. Making your own icons, importing SVG files, image opacity, and image masking are areas where Miro could be improved. The templates are confusing and never work great. They're there for super structured tasks, but otherwise, I just make it up as I go along.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro makes it easy to organize information in one place, important for quick sketching and tagging in design work. It supports collaboration with clients using sticky notes, which can be tracked and organized flexibly.

Transforms Workshops into Dynamic, User-Friendly Experiences
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro on a daily basis as I appreciate being able to turn my workshops into dynamic environments. The platform is user-friendly for my participants, which allows me to focus more on analysis instead of dealing with complicated formats. When we finish the work in Miro, I can easily extract PDFs or get the information on other formats to share with the participants as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to understand better how to find my boards, sometimes I get lost between the ones created by my team members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main advantage for me is the infinite canvas, which allows me to create SIPOC, LVSM, and Lotus Blossom diagrams all on a single board with just one link. This means my stakeholders can see the entire project and its phases in one place, without having to deal with complicated documents or using up a lot of space on their computers.
Charts in Miro were great and overall I had a great experience.
What do you like best about the product?
Templates make things quite easy for me when I don’t feel like creating them from scratch. I also use it for real time collaboration with others and I no longer send each other attachments via email as if we’re insane. I’m pleasantly surprised it worked w/o crashing when I moved my excel data into the template for an org chart and you can also add pics from the internet.
What do you dislike about the product?
"Snap To" is garbage and it always puts everything in 90 degree angles that I don’t want. I really wish I could hide those ugly connector lines behind pictures and they never go behind anything. And it is also expensive to subscribe to it and the auto arrange ruins every single layout and I have to redo every layout manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can still see the production process even though my computer screen is covered with a huge smudge. I create flowcharts for my programming class and it saves me time. This also allows me to explain my project plans to others without having to talk to them for 10 hours.
Excellent for Visual Collaboration and Organization
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a great platform for organizing and marking up visual content, and is especially helpful in facilitating collaboration during virtual meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I often struggle with file size limits, and some of the features I find most useful (such as upload documents) are hidden away in the toolbar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An easy way to markup visual content and share feedback within teams.
Perfect for Visualizing Ideas and Seamless Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
When I first found Miro, it was because I wanted a tool where I could draw out my chain of thoughts or architecture (I'm a software engineer, by the way) where sometimes I would need to go from a big idea and zoom in, and zoom in into the little ideas, like an infinite scroll, so that's one of my main strong points about it, even though it's not infinite. Collaboration is the second main reason to choose it. I use it not only to share thoughts and architecture with my team, but also a lot for training and workshops where I am the teacher, where even people with no previous experience can jump in right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I can think of, it suits perfectly to what I expect from this type of tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualizing complex software architectures benefits the team by providing a common understanding. I also use this a lot in the workshops and training sessions I conduct. I create exercises where participants use Miro to connect concepts, drag and drop words, etc., which helps captivate and keep everyone engaged.
