A better way than the old Microsoft diagrams for boxes and arrows.

  • January 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, the greatest advantage I've found is that I don't have to install it on all of our laptops like we did with the previous tool. Once I share the link with each person they can go ahead and arrange the sticky notes as needed. And the fact that it saves automatically has also been helpful since my laptop battery is about to die.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the connection arrows are very frustrating as they will snap to the wrong side of the box and I will have to go into an extreme level of detail (i.e. zoom in at 400%) in order to locate the tiny dot that connects the arrow to the box so that I can move it. At times the entire board becomes slow and unresponsive because there are too many large images/screenshots that were pasted onto the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company uses this product to draw pictures of our servers, because prior to this method, we would email each other files back and forth and no one knew which file was the most current. Now, I simply create the flowchart on the board and if someone decides to delete it, that is their responsibility. Also, this allows us to avoid having team members walk to my desk to ask about the operation of the systems we design.

Good for Simple Tasks, But Lacks Advanced Integration

  • January 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a very solid basic tool, easy for people to pick up for very simple tasks, and designing boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more advanced features are not as user friendly and not very user intuitive. It also does not have a capability to auto pull data from ADO or Jira like other similar applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtual whiteboard

Essential Collaboration Tool for Seamless Remote Work

  • January 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There is a rich portfolio of functionalities which are intuitive to use even for users new to the software. As of the ease of implementation, it works from every browser, even without a license or any pre-configurations, which is a game-changer for our teams. On top, there are multiple integrations available that allow to export data even outside of Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my daily job, I have a paid license which is quite extensive - when I use it for personal purposes though, the free tier is quite limited, both in terms of boards and essential features.

Another problem I encountered is the performance with big boards with lots of content - it can be very slow to load and even lag when there are multiple users connected. This can really kill the momentum in a workshop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is my go-to tool I use daily to facilitate complex workflows between colleagues from different company areas, especially when we are connecting remotely from various locations. It allows me to co-create and collaborate on key deliverables of my daily work: product roadmaps, value streams, planning workshops, Objectives and Key Results...

I love how flexible Miro is, and how quick and easy it is to manipulate information across the board. I also appreciate the ability to share and give access to people, allowing us to collaborate on documents effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, I cant think of a fault for what we use it for
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for planning and presenting website architecture. It helps map out big complex things in an understandable way, offers flexibility, and easy manipulation of information. It also allows sharing and collaboration on documents.

Visualization and Collaboration in Miro

  • January 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to take screenshots and create user flow and user journey in Miro. The ability to share the screen and collaborate with other users is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scales. I have some kind of board from which it is made, and every time I create a new element, I need to stretch and adapt it to the scale. That is, the grid is set up incorrectly, either it's on one board or it's like this everywhere.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, Miro is an alternative to presentations, where I conduct all project work and share my screen with the team, visualizing and presenting my work.

Visually Appealing, Effortless Collaboration Tool

  • January 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really find Miro super visually appealing and easy to use. I could adapt to the tool in less than an hour, which is great. The integrations with Webex and Confluence make my work environment super seamless, allowing me to embed Miro links without needing to export and save files. The collaboration capabilities of Miro are better than what I experienced with Excalidraw and Draw.io. Initial setup was super easy with no qualms at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, Miro has nothing to dislike at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for creating various diagrams and our team uses it for sprint retrospectives. It integrates with Webex and Confluence, making my work seamless. It's visually appealing, easy to use, and supports great collaboration.

It's allowing me to share my ideas with my colleagues and refine our approaches and flows together.
