Visual Collaboration Made Easy with Miro

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Miro for its features and available UI designs, which make it easy to create flowchart diagrams and architecture diagrams. It's valuable because it helps me explain things more visually rather than verbally, and clients understand better with visual diagrams. It also solves collaboration issues across teams and projects, providing better clarity on problems, especially for remote teamwork or when dealing with brainstorming problems. The initial setup was easy using the available documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro has so many features, icons, templates, and features that when any new user wants to try it, they don't know where to start. The major problem is the same onboarding for everyone; a role-based feature should be enabled that helps users to step in easily and learn its use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves collaboration issues across teams and projects, providing better clarity, especially for remote work and brainstorming issues. It helps me explain visually instead of verbally, aiding client understanding with visual diagrams.

Centralizes Team Communication Smoothly

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro to keep track of print designs between the art department team, concept team, and design team. It eliminates the need to get up and talk to someone in person, removes middleman work, and helps keep everyone aligned and on the same page. I like the comment box where we can chat about specific details, and how I receive an email whenever someone comments. It helps me stay on top of questions or comments without having to constantly check the app. I also like that it houses all information in one place and keeps it secure. The initial setup was pretty easy to get the hang of, and I've been able to catch on fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm still figuring out how to fully use the features. Sometimes it's hard to move or resize elements. Sometimes when I try to move an element, it resizes instead, or vice versa.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to track print designs across teams, eliminating the need for in-person conversations, reducing middleman tasks, and keeping everyone aligned. The comment box with email notifications keeps me updated without needing to check Miro constantly.

Miro: The Go-To Whiteboard for Team Collaboration

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro really easy to use, which is a big plus for getting things done quickly. I especially like the voting feature, as I use it a lot for project decisions and team activities like Scrum retrospectives. The ability to vote makes decision-making really handy. I also appreciate the private mode and how quick it is to share things. Miro serves as a single site to do a variety of activities like brainstorming, team building sessions, organizing ideas, and drawing project plans. It’s a nice whiteboard full of functionality that helps in organizing ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that i can think about
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro provides a single platform with a functional whiteboard for brainstorming, team building, and organizing ideas, simplifying my workflow as an IT Project Manager.

Flexible and Visually Engaging, But Phone Access Lacking

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro for the flexibility it offers, allowing us to adapt the platform's visual design to fit any need. The templates are really helpful too, as they save time by providing common approaches to tasks, like brainstorming. The embedded conceptual guidance in the templates, such as how a brainstorming session might progress to ideation, is particularly useful. I also find Miro to be much more flexible than what we used before, and the visual design is better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our colleagues who join by phone can't really participate. The platform doesn't work on phones as far as I understand. The frames are a little tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro lets the team contribute anonymously, boosting participation. It allows visual idea presentations, facilitating conceptual discussions.

Collaborative Powerhouse for Complex Projects

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro very useful for development management courses like Intervention Design, where team members can collaborate and work on multiple elements. It solves several practical problems, especially when dealing with complex issues and groups and messy realities. I like that Miro does not freeze the responses and allows us to be iterative and revisit it to strengthen our understanding. I love how inclusive and non-hierarchical it feels, as everyone can contribute without any hesitation. The ease of collaboration with Miro is fantastic, which was one of the reasons we switched from using Google Docs. Additionally, the initial setup was easy, and the program team was helpful in getting us started.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe UI and navigation can be improved a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for collaboration on complex projects, where it helps solve practical issues. It supports iteration, feels inclusive, and non-hierarchical. We switched from Google Docs due to its ease of collaboration.

Effortlessly Intuitive and Collaborative Tool

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Miro is very intuitive and I can start using it right away without the need to read documentation. It's great that when I involve others in working on the Canvas, they don't need any explanation either, it's just a matter of starting to use it. I appreciate how it's easy to get an overall view of what's going on at every stage of each research project and paper. Using different templates is useful to have something to start with rather than starting from scratch, and starting from a blank canvas is also valuable in some cases. I find it particularly amazing and nice that multiple people can use Miro at the same time, and it allows me to give real-time feedback, which is helpful when students brainstorm and develop their project ideas. The initial setup was very straightforward and easy, which I consider one of Miro's best features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess that one issue, if I can call it that, is when I'm collaborating with people that do not have a business account or a pro account and only have the free account. It's very easy for them to fall into the limitation on the number of Canvas they can have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for planning research projects and papers, giving me an overall view of each stage. It also helps with student brainstorming and explaining concepts in real-time. Multiple users can collaborate easily, making it ideal for teamwork.

Collaborative Powerhouse with Endless Meeting Options

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for collaborative work with my teammates and cross-department meetings. It lets hybrid and remote teams work collaboratively both synchronously and asynchronously, and it's easy to use. I love the variety of options for running different meetings, from ideation to project planning to competitor research to retrospective. It's colorful and collates different meeting notes in one place. Additionally, I use it with Confluence and Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was a learning curve, especially to learn how to use the special functionalities (e.g., AI) but the more I use it the easier it got.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows hybrid and remote teams to work collaboratively both synchronously and asynchronously. It offers numerous options to run different meetings, collates meeting notes in one place, and is easy to use.

Unmatched Creative Freedom for Prototyping and Idea Organization

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I value most is the nearly limitless freedom Miro offers for free-form prototyping, editing, and organizing my often chaotic thoughts and ideas. I really enjoy starting with a blank board and using it as my creative playground. Miro also allows me to put a lot of references of design and UX in one place and compare them in any possible way.
Additionally, Miro provides a wide range of pre-made templates that are helpful for my work as a PM (even though I don't use those features very often), along with almost any form of tool for editing my boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not always satisfied with the way the AI features, such as diagrams or documents, end up looking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to collect and view all the references and data I need, both comprehensively and from various perspectives. This not only boosts my creativity to develop entirely new ideas or combine existing ones but also assists me in selecting the best option. When it comes to diagrams and documents, I really appreciate not having to start from scratch.
