Customer Journey mapping and links to SOP
Intuitive and Efficient, But Needs Better Organization
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for general workflow diagramming and documentation, and it is an easy tool to map out processes compared to others I have access to. Much of the controls are fairly intuitive. I like the connectivity between different views and being able to quickly add elements to the diagram. Although I haven't tried them yet, the features such as voting and timers seem useful. The initial setup of Miro was very easy, which was great since it is all net new usage in our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like Miro's overall organization. There needs to be better folders for documents in the different spaces, as it shouldn't be limited to one tier. Also, being able to tag elements with multiple tags and then filter by them would be helpful, especially for large workflow diagrams. It would also be useful to have a feature that automatically formats diagrams cleanly. After creating connections, there should be a button to make it as legible as possible. I spent over a day cleaning up a document and moving lines around when that could easily be a feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro makes mapping out processes pretty easy with intuitive controls compared to other tools.
Effortless Brainstorming and Organization in One Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how freeform it is, allowing me to use it as a space for jotting down thoughts or as a brain dump/map whenever I need. What I find especially useful is how it can take that initial chaos and smoothly transform it into something organized and easy to share.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the sheer number of options and different ways to use the mapping can feel a bit overwhelming. This also is probably at least 50% user issue however!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My role requires me to design new processes often. Miro makes it simple to have my "scratch paper" & final formalized process diagram in one place. The visuals also make it easy for me to share these processes with my team who may not have all of the information.
Effortless Team Collaboration with Powerful AI Tools
What do you like best about the product?
Facilitates quick and easy collaboration between team members, with great tools such as voting, timers, and gen AI integration, e.g. summarisation of content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to remember/store lots of different passwords for various boards

- Conduct squad retrospectives
- Maintain a PI plan (we use SAFe) and product roadmap
- Conduct product ideation and discovery sessions
- Conduct feature breakdown and t-shirt sizing sessions

What do you dislike about the product?
More recently I have found the performance of Miro both in browser and app form to be slower than it used to be. I feel like there has potentially been feature-creep which has slowed down the responsiveness of the core interface.
Sometimes diagramming, which is one of my core uses, isn't ideal, such as arrows and lines snapping to the wrong elements of boxes. However I do trust that Miro development is responsive and continually improving things.

Miro enables us to collaborate with clients by visualising their product requirements and mapping out the customer journey together. It serves as an invaluable tool during workshops, making the process more interactive and effective.
Miro: Intuitive Collaboration with Stellar Initial Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for planning, architecture, project overview, and sprint reviews, basically anything that needs a whiteboard, even when not working remotely. What I like most about Miro is its collaborative nature and the intuitive UI and UX. It solves problems by keeping information centralized as a single source of truth. It's also easy to share and collaborate on. Miro offers tools for making nice-looking documents, providing just enough to accomplish what you want without becoming confusing. The initial setup was one of the best I’ve seen so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love more shapes and diagrams. You could also include icons such as Hero icons or Font Awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro keeps information centralized as a Single Source of Truth, making it easy to share and collaborate.
Great Collaboration Tool, But auto-licencing guest functionality needs improvement!
What do you like best about the product?
It's really useful for group collaboration sessions and strategic planning sessions. It's really simple to pickup and use for newbies which makes it easy for them to adopt in sessions for the first time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Whenever you add someone as a guest to a board it automatically requests them a licence even if they don't need one so you have to check with them every time if it's needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An easy use collaboration tool which is especially helpful for us since Google discontinued Jamboards.
Empowers Global Teams with User-Friendly Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I like the user interface and the overall experience of Miro. It's really helpful to be able to come into a tool that's user friendly. I've used MURAL before, and Miro is a lot more user friendly and has a nice user interface. I enjoy using all the different tools Miro offers for a variety of tasks. It's fun and easy to work with, which is great, especially when thinking creatively. This user-friendliness allows even those with varying levels of tech literacy in our organization to figure out how to use it pretty easily. I also like that it's a great tool with a lot of flexibility, accommodating different working styles.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro seems to run pretty heavy on low bandwidth environments, making it difficult for some people to participate seamlessly. It doesn't load well in places with weak Wi-Fi, which is a big challenge. Also, though I like the flexibility Miro offers, sometimes there's too much flexibility, which can be a hindrance for project management tasks like Kanban that require more structure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for brainstorming and ideation, solving collaboration challenges with our global team. It helps us work asynchronously across time zones, providing a flexible space for everyone to contribute.
Empowers Remote Collaboration with Inspiring Templates
What do you like best about the product?
As a remote team, we have the flexibility to work through situations and refine them until we are completely satisfied. This tool successfully brings the collaborative aspects of in-person meetings into an online environment. I find the templates especially helpful—they provide a solid starting point whenever I need inspiration or guidance. Thanks to this, I’ve been able to design and coordinate workshops both within our organization and with external partners smoothly and efficiently. Anyone can jump in and start using it with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
The templates they provide are usually WAY more than is needed. They offer full end to end solutions when I usually just need an element or a starting point. (the fact that this is the only thing I dislike about Miro says a lot! It's pretty amazing!)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can accomplish what we need to roll out to the team much more efficiently than if we were just discussing things over a call. This tool allows us to thoroughly develop our plans and make improvements before putting them into action.
