Flexible Tool for Drafting and Collaboration

  • October 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro allows me to create anything I want, from diagrams to notes, with ease. The real-time collaboration and the sketching tools, including the ability to draw, place notes, and copy-paste images, are incredibly beneficial for my drafting needs. Sharing and working with colleagues is seamless, and the overall ease of use of Miro sets it apart.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the user controls in Miro to be problematic, especially when dealing with the limitations on the number of boards in the free plan. It's annoying when I have more than three boards, as I can't edit previous boards unless I start asking others to delete theirs. This restriction is frustrating as it disrupts workflow and collaboration. Furthermore, I'm uncertain if there is an admin function to manage or delete boards within an organization, which adds to the inconvenience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to draft and share ideas in real-time, allowing my team to collaborate easily. It offers flexible creation tools for images, notes, and sketches, unlike other strict wireframing tools.

Good, but can be better

  • October 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This is excellent for organizing and preparing presentations, and the present function is especially helpful for quick meetings and discussions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free features that Miro provides are quite good, but I believe some of the paid features should be made available in the free version, especially for students.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability for teams to work together and collaborate is the most valuable aspect, as it allows multiple users to work on the platform at the same time without experiencing significant lag.

Perfect for Game Narrative Design

  • October 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It provides a single place where information, flowcharts, and notes can be taken and displayed, keeping clutter out of needing to find information. Gone is the constant switching between Google Drive documents. All of your information can be stored and shown here on Miro. And it's simple to see what is needed to be shown as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real issue that I have with Miro is that I often hit the "maximum text length reached" issue in text fields when I'm writing for my game's narrative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's making things easier to view all of my studio's narrative information. I no longer have to switch between google docs tabs, as all of the information is here. And I can link other documents within the Miro board for the google docs that I already have.

User-friendly and high-quality whiteboard

  • October 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy to navigate, it looks nice, and it has plenty of features without getting overly confusing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are instances where I’ll try to insert a screenshot, and instead of adding the image to the whiteboard, it just opens the image. Not sure why this happens, as it just seems to happen on random occasions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s easy to explain complex problems to people by writing or drawing out diagrams and other helpful illustrations.

Great tool for workshops & collecting information

  • October 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Miro's collaborative features. My team benefits a lot from being able to comment on content whenever they have questions or want to share additional ideas. We also use Miro for internal collaborative workshops, where we can, for example, sketch out our ideas for solutions. Also, everyone is able to use miro, since it's quite intuitive and easy to use. Due to the huge template library, you also constantly find new ideas for boards you can implement in your own solutions. I, as a product manager, use miro every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I dislike is that it's not possible to upload videos directly onto Miro boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We require a tool that enables us to host internal collaborative workshops. Because participants come from various departments, it is important for the tool to be intuitive, as not everyone is familiar with using miro regularly. Additionally, it is very useful for sketching out ideas and working together to develop solutions, strategies and also roadmaps.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. Easy to use
2. Visualization feature by creating a task board
3. Presentation mode
4. Real Time Collaboration
5. Comment option gives more clarity on each tags
6. Its Convert to Jira Issue option takes only few seconds to create an Issue on Jira.
7. It's integration feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Sometimes its performance lags if there is a large board.
2. Its pricing for smaller teams can be high if they want advanced features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it daily to update task progress, leave comments, assign responsibilities, and make quick edits—all in real time with my team. It keeps everyone aligned and saves us from endless email threads or scattered tools. The ability to convert tasks into Jira tickets when needed is a huge bonus, seamlessly bridging planning and execution without duplicating work.

Improved operations for our small business

  • October 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The real-time updates between our different team members make it real easy to keep on the same page. We have a small team who works from different locations on different schedules, yet we can all communicate effectively. We update the board daily, so each morning we are all on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is slow to load on the desktop, and once the whiteboard is large, it is resource-intensive on the computer. It sometimes makes it difficult to complete other resource-intensive tasks on the same computer (CAD software).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro keeps our whole team on the same page, both for business administration and project management.
