Helpful Tool for group projects
What do you like best about the product?
I like the capacity of Information you can keep on the board. The board gives a good overview and makes group projects easy. The sticky notes and the frames are beneficial too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The textboxes only allow limited text. Sometimes one needs to write more than bullet points, and it would be great if the textbox could hold an entire A4 page worth of text. For non-payers, the boards are limited, even when you use Miro for a school context. We, students, can't afford Products like Miro, but we have been using them quite often. It's impossible to use past boards, as the active boards are limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My master class uses Miro for group work and presentations. In particular for mind mapping and gathering information on a collaborative whiteboard. Maybe the Miro team could also focus online making MIRO available to students. If this is sucessful we can continue using MIRO for business later.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is easy to use parallel to Zoom, making online group work very easy. The templates are an excellent way to organize information when you don't yet have an order.

What do you like best about the product?
There is not a day that goes by without using Miro. It helps me gather information, structure, cluster and visualize it, and collaborate with my coworkers and clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Recently, I've been missing a 'repeat previous action' shortcut (which used to be double click) to get the same shape you just added. I used this all the time to get new EMPTY post-it's easily. Now I have to either:
- duplicate+drag a post-it (which also duplicates with it the text I've already written inside)
- add a post it with the menu or N shortcut, which forces me pick a color first, every time
- use tab and drag the post-it to the place where I want it to be
I would like to have an option to just get a new empty post-it immediately at the spot where I click :)

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a fantastic tool for teams that believe that the process is as important as the result. Building ideas, plans, designs and solutions is a continnum that requires joint efforts, and Miro allows you to build all of those as a team - even if you work remotely! The workshops are just all more fun using this tool that helps you with timer, anonymously voting, playing background energizing music, etc
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if Miro had an option to see the historical track of the board, so as to see how things have been evolving in the board and who contributed to each part.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a remote-first team spread throughout the world, and being able to use Miro for brainstorming, workshops, analyzing data or preparing presentations makes it a much more pleasant sent experience for all
Solution for brainstorming!
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is always the best solution for my brainstorming and research sessions. Very convenient user experience and vast space for ideations. I enjoy the workflow on Miro, along with the templates and options Miro provides.
What do you dislike about the product?
Divisions of research categories within a board could be defined better, and the frames could have more color options or identities on their own. Miro can develop more better options where individual notes or references are exported individually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A better understanding of research by laying out all the options and ideations on a clear board benefits me in finding out a direction for the project. Having a Miro board helps in teamwork as collaborations on Miro bring many benefits in giving input while brainstorming. The fast response of Miro during collaborations helps us in this process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use Miro as an interactive platform as maximum as possible. Miro is one platform where just text or notes aren't just part of research but a user experience design as a whole.

Miro is a collaborative tool, it is great for project groups / agile squads. In a virtual world, it is fantastic to have a tool that mimics the real-life collaborative experience
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not come across anything that i do not like. I love the regular updates, recommended boards and the online help team. Also seeing how other companies use the boards allows me to think more creatively

What do you dislike about the product?
- Well, there are no significant drawbacks, but I would have liked to have a lock feature for a selected option (for example, lock in the "arrow" selection so that I can easily re-use it).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using Miro primarily for synthesizing my research data (affinity diagrams, mindmaps, etc.) and sharing these with my colleagues. The flexibility and ease of using visual elements made it easier to create better presentations. I also found this as a central tool when it comes to collaborative decision-making in my organization.
An awesome tool for collaboration and remote work
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy how diverse and easy it is to create wireframes, diagrams, and presentations. Also being able to choose from templates is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I share a board with someone, it automatically shares my other boards (free mode-student). Not being able to upload my own typography
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Design challenges. I have found Miro a great tool for brainstorming and bringing many ideas to the table while also being a space that can save and store your information.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the diverse set of functions that the tool offers. It is very simple to understand and navigate through it, and it is highly useful on a daily basis. The pre-filled templates are a great tool to visualize information for a wider team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about this product is the limited number of boards that could be created per account. It could be great if the trial version involves more features to make people more hooked on using the tool. One other function that could be great to have in miro is the file size converter, for example, to PDF files when downloading frames, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Miro for several reasons. One is to present product problem statements to the team. Second, creating competitor's analysis on different topics. It has excellent pre-filled templates that facilitate visualization and efforts.
Easy to use, fun collaborative tool for both trainers and trainees alike
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, visually appealing, fun way to engage everyone, trainers and trainees alike, with MS Teams. Love the Miro Community and templates! Very helpful. HUGE thumbs up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very occasionally, connection issues with Miro cloud. A simple re-start of app usually solves the issue. But a heads-up a couple of days prior to any server upgrade/maintenance issues will be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorm sessions, Discussion groups in teams and breakout teams,and I also use the boards as my collaborative tools during my coaching sessions. It's a winner! Every session has been engaging and a success!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's the easiest collaborative whiteboard I've used so far. Best to try it out via the free plan!
Miro is Best
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is phenomenal for online collaboration. We are in the design field, and its functionality and aesthetics are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exporting is not great - there is no way to batch export images or select certain frames. Additionally, some text gets scrambled in certain PDF viewers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process solutions where a lot of input in a remote environment is necessary. Cross project collaboration & alignment.
