Intuitive collaboration tools

  • October 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I particularly like about Miro is how easy it is to create dynamic, collaborative boards that everyone can access in real time. It’s a very intuitive tool. Anyone can contribute by adding ideas, documents, or links effortlessly, even those who aren’t very comfortable with digital tools. You can upload PDFs, diagrams, BIM model snapshots, or tracking sheets, which makes it an excellent space to centralize all project information.

In our Lean practice, Miro has become an essential support tool for running Value Stream Mapping workshops, process analyses, and Last Planner sessions. It enhances collective visualization, helps align teams, and speeds up decision-making. It’s more than just a virtual whiteboard — it’s a true co-creation environment.

We also use it for ICE (Integrated Concurrent Engineering) meetings within the VDC framework. Miro allows us to structure these sessions smoothly: participants can simultaneously view models, add comments, share constraints or solutions, and track progress in real time. This creates a far more effective dynamic than traditional meetings, where information typically flows in a sequential manner.

Another feature I really appreciate is Miro’s ability to keep a record of all exchanges. You can easily revisit past decisions, track versions, and even use the boards as visual meeting minutes. This strengthens continuity between sessions and makes collaboration among project stakeholders much more seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, while working in Miro, I make changes and accidentally exit the board by using the browser’s “back” button. It’s a small detail, but it can cause confusion or waste time. It would be more ergonomic if Miro’s own “undo” or “back” function were positioned in a more intuitive place, ideally at the top of the interface. This would help prevent navigation errors and make the overall user experience even smoother, especially during real-time collaborative sessions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro mainly solves issues of coordination, communication, and collective visualization in complex projects. Before using it, a lot of information used to get lost in emails, scattered documents, or unproductive meetings. With Miro, everything is centralized in one visual space, accessible in real time to everyone involved.

The platform helps turn ideas into something tangible, organize processes, and collaborate both synchronously and asynchronously. This brings much more clarity and flow to our discussions. In our Lean and VDC work, that translates into better alignment between teams, faster decision-making, and less time wasted chasing information.

Miro is also a real asset during ICE meetings. Teams can view models together, add comments, track actions and decisions. All within the same workspace. It strengthens transparency, encourages engagement, and supports the culture of continuous improvement that’s central to Lean.

In short, Miro makes collaboration smoother, more visual, and better structured. It simplifies teamwork, reduces organizational friction, and directly contributes to project performance.

Trainer using Miro for facilitation and training delivery

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Interactive frames and shapes. I like how easily I can edit and move the frames around. I also like lock and hide feature of the frames.
What do you dislike about the product?
Frame numbers and frame links keep changing. It frustrates me when it changes because I have to look for the frame number in real time while delivering training. I prefer it remains same and I can keep notes of the frame numbers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtual interactive activities. When I moved to virtual training from in-person, I needed something where students can do activities. Miro turns out to be the best tool so far to serve this purpose.

A wonderful tool

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a wonderful tool for communicating with others (in my case, my students) simply yet effectively. Miro's templates provide just the essentials; they emphasize the most important things. There are many document and graphic templates to choose from, and you can discover different ways to reach people's hearts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints about this app. I like everything about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Miro I have solved communication problems, because I like clarity and I don't like messages and posters overloaded with images, because I think they distract attention.

Makes Remote Collaboration Feel Effortless

  • October 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It has become the single, indispensable hub for all our team's collaborative work, effectively replacing the need for multiple niche tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Miro is incredibly powerful, the sheer number of features and tools can be slightly overwhelming for brand new users
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Text-based documents and spreadsheets are often inadequate for mapping out complex workflows, user journeys, or project plans. This can hide dependencies and make it difficult for stakeholders to grasp the full scope of a project.
Remote teams often struggle with the loss of spontaneous "whiteboard moments." Video calls can be passive, and it's hard to ensure everyone is on the same page, leading to misunderstandings and disengagement.
It translates directly into more effective brainstorming, better-aligned planning, more productive retrospectives, and a more streamlined and transparent agile workflow overall.
