Empowers creation process, and helps to engage and collaborate with your teams.

What do you like best about the product?
The outstanding balance of simplicity with excellent support for advanced workflows. Miro is easy to start with when you need something simple like a blank piece of paper, yet complexity and teamwork is at hand if you need it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some templates seem a bit underdeveloped. Mindmaps works excellent, but it would be good to simplify tools like flowcharts, concept maps, etc.
Also, why not have a default cover/preview area for each new board? I don't want to choose them manually each time, and in most cases, they are right in the middle of the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Miro for daily planning and feedback gathering from the team and customers. Often I have a separate Miro board opened for each important call or process in the company. It helps to keep everything well organized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try.

The best I have ever used for project planning!

What do you like best about the product?
Easy and intuitive. It was definitely designed to be used on multiple platforms. I can easily use it on my laptop, tablet or even smaller screens, like my smartphone.
It is an incredible platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is the only negative point of this tool. Not that the price is not fair, probably it is when we consider the dollar price for countries where it is the main currency.
But for me, living in South America, the final price (after exchange) is costly. That's why I have never upgraded it =/
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, brainstorming, presentations, planning traffic campaigns, designing purchasing funnels. Everything I need I have there.
It is a well designed all-in-one solution.

What do you like best about the product?
is an easy-to-use and super interactive tool that allows dynamics between small, medium and large teams that are in different places, time zones and offices at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
the way of locomotion between the screens, sometimes the user ends up getting lost while dragging from one screen to the other, making the dynamics a little bit difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helped us in dynamics for the construction of the ecommerce application of the company where I work and also in the creative workshop for the creation of custom typography for a branding project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If it's for a group dynamic, be aware of the steps explained by the administrator so you don't get lost during the process.

Miro is simple to use and fast to learn - Collaboration guaranteed

  • January 27, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's simple while very complete. The "follow" capability is very useful. Board templates are great and very wide scope. The new Gantt chart is what was missing
What do you dislike about the product?
The advantage of being able to create so large boards sometimes may create difficulty in finding things, but that's a trade-off challenging to manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborative working in remote mode is the greatest thing.

Life Saver & World Class Collaboration Tool

  • January 27, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's a virtual whiteboard where you can visually see plans, calendars, etc while still linking to documentation. (Less clutter. More creativity & collaboration.) And the community templates are wonderful!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. The free plan is amazing - and you get 3 limitless boards. I've used both free and paid - paid is worth it if it's in your budget & you have a team! If anything, I dislike how much time I can spend on prepping a board - but once it's prepped, I feel like it's smooth sailing from there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Created a marketing events calendar so people can see what's happening regarding events. I can link back to it or from the board to more detailed documentation.

Able to visually show marketing plans so cross-team and cross-world teammates can envision what is coming up (high level overview) yet can still dig deeper into a task thanks to linking.

Able to show process flows for different digital events, community processes, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out! Be sure to go through their training - there is SO MUCH you can do with even just the free version. Paid is worth it if you have a team. They also have badges where you can get certified. This has made my personal, business, and work lives so much easier. Especially in our now remote world.

The solution for visual planners /whiteboard / mind-map type of people

  • January 27, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like to scribbed ideas and strategies using circles, words, and arrows. This works great on paper or whiteboards but not when I'm working with a remote team. For a few years I have been wasting time re-creating my whiteboard notes using graphic design tools like Canva or even Google doc's freeform drawing space, but what a time suck. Miro has sped up my efficiency from "idea in my head" to "visual layout of my idea" and then I can share it with people I work with. This is why I've started using Miro every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot paste videos yet. I would like to see a plug-in that connects calendars into Miro. For example (rough idea): I connect Outlook Calendar and a Miro board populates a visual monthly calendar (grid style) this way I can have one central place to visualize a calendar for say, a marketing campaign or content calendar, and also have it be viewable in my Outlook Calendar. I think it could be an interesting way to plan campaigns all in one-place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a space to mind-map concepts with strategies and most of all start big picture then zoom into the weeds... all in one place. I love that I can hyperlink any text to 3rd-party apps.

The place where you can put all of my ideas the way you want, using infinite space and methods

  • January 27, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro being a giant sketchbook where you can test infinite possibilities to show everyone your ideas. i often use images from internet and my printscreens ,and all it's dynamics cheer me up . and i use very often the voting system with my crew.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think having to put the password almost everytime, and some copy+paste acts doesn't work, i think solving this two problems, it would turn miro perfect for everything i need
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i dont need to have a giant whiteboard and a lot of sketchbooks, where i had a mess on my table, with miro everything gets more clean and minimalist ! And very budget compared to everything that i need to own before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It may seems a little bit difficult on the first steps, but follow every tip that appears on your screen and you will be a miro master!

miro is simple to use

  • January 26, 2022

What do you like best about the product?
ease of use and ability to collaborate with other people
What do you dislike about the product?
at times there are glitches where it crashes, and when I enter text into shapes it doesnt easily save and I lose the text, having to then go it a few times
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
explaining concepts and processes internally, benefit has been documentation of this and ability to communicate it = more productive. I use to use Google slides for visual explanations but Miro is much better

Miro EDU Review

  • January 26, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the options to export different sections of the board. Sharing with other teammates, presentation mode. The ability to use emojis makes the content a lot more fun and relatable. Adding the notes section so that different team members can comment was clutch!
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting around the dashboard is a bit clunky. When adding team members it is confusing because you have to click through a few steps to check out who's already on the design boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro enhances my presentation with its ability to scroll around and create a more interactive experience in class. It makes learning fun and interactive even with very technical topics.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Watch the training videos before you get started. It will save you a lot time.
