What do you like best about the product?
That its bot simple for me as a professional as well as simple to bring customers in
What do you dislike about the product?
Some more advanced setings for facilitators. Multiple owners to hide and show frames eg.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Distance work is managebla with miro. I can coordinate my findings and also make it visible for others. AMAZING
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is the best sollution ive ever tried. Its easy to use and navigate but also has all the advanced settings and components that i need. You can easily invite a colleague to the board, it will only take them under a minute to understand and navigate freely

Great Collaboration and planning tool

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro easy to use, and easy to learn. Working with my co-workers even on different shifts is so easy, and during these working from home times, it has allowed us to keep working
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are only available in the top tier payment option. Which is designed for larger business's then ours. And while we will be upgrading, we won't for the next year use all the license that we get on that teir.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mapping development and code has made it easier to come back and look at what we are doing, and not having to clear a whiteboard everytime we need to create somethign new.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitly give it a go. and do some of the basic training, as it will help you get the most out of the product. If you are using a whiteboard, this is a very flexible alternative

Best Software Ever

  • January 24, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The extent of the power Miro gives you to manipulate information is breathtaking. I have no idea how I would have been able to build my existing business without it. In fact, I have built my company around Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the fact that I can't automate boards to unlock certain exercises on certain dates. If I could do that, I could produce an evergreen training program that would unlock extraordinary value for customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to use Miro to capture information from my clients and rearrange that information in more intuitive ways to help clients visualize their business more clearly.

Miro is born for the new remote/hybrid world we are living in

  • January 24, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro just works. The interface and navigation make sense and the time from when I sit down to having a helpful visual, diagram, workflow, etc. is about as fast as I can do with a whiteboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing all of the different accounts can be tricky as some people have a personal free account, and then our business has one. Im sure this is more of an internal process issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to map out 3+ user journeys through our software. Parts of their journey exist on our platform and some parts off. We've been able to use Miro to visualize these complex processes clearly and it has helped us to simplify them after we've seen opportunities on our diagram.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its a fantastic tool that integrates well into any of the other pieces of software you are using.

Miro perfect tool in trying times.

  • January 23, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is great as it is so simple to use; less tech savvy users can jump right in and be productive. We tried many similar tools and Miro is by far the best.
It works great as a web app, so users don't have to install the desktop app and makes it great for quick reviews anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
We often run workshops with people that will likely never use Miro again, so don't have and will never need a full account and are given a link to participate with ability to edit however these people are assigned a random name which can make it hard to know who is who during the workshop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In covid times with many people working from home, Miro has been invaluable to continuing business through lockdowns.
Miro has enabled us to remain productive in creative groups and includes more people in the creative process.
We have had staff moving away from our office location, and Miro makes it easier to retain those workers as there are very few requirements to be physically in the office.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is a great platform and actively developing with a vibrant community where you can get answers and ideas for running virtual workshops and have found it a great learning resource.
Do try other platforms, it will highlight how good Miro is; I tested quite a few and always came back to Miro.

Miro helps me in so many ways

  • January 23, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
All the great features and the friendly user interface
What do you dislike about the product?
The changes in the new ways of voting has made it a bit less easy to set up voting for less experienced users of Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to get an overview of all the stuff I'm doing and planning. I can facilitate workshops in Miro that enable a large group of people to collaborate and find solutions to challenges. Miro and all the great features makes it fun and easy to be effective and creative in workshops. Miro helps me win as an agile coach and facilitator.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be a part of the Miro community and you'll learn nifty Miro tricks and meet a bunch of great people.

A great tool for sharing knowledge and synthesizing research information for projects!

  • January 23, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The UI is very intuitive, and the overall design of the workspace takes the process of creating a dashboard for a college project and personal artistic research to a more professional and harmonic approach. I love the templates for creating different mindmaps and whiteboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features that compose the paid plans are not that accessible to educational institutions in other countries. Also (as a personal note), I would like to see a dark mode option; this makes working on a project at night a lot easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting information such as images, text, video, and other multimedia makes presentations and teamwork more accessible to our class. This tool has enriched all our creative processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Getting a hold of Miro's team features makes teamwork an organized and resourceful experience.

Invision was the stepping stone for many in the tech world to collab in design stage

  • January 22, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The first proper design tool that got comprehensive tools for freehand and vector-based prototyping. It was way ahead and disruptive that it quickly captured people like us who wear fed up with Adobe being non-designers.
Seamless integration with Sketch was an added advantage.
Something that I liked the most outside the tool is that they were pioneers in remote work culture within their company and the industry. It helped them to solve the collab issue from within.
What do you dislike about the product?
Somewhere in 2017, as Figma's prominence grew, Invision gave up and stopped innovating. It merely remained a left hand (plugin or add on) of Sketch and nothing more. This made me jump to Figma.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration, Design system boilerplate, plugins to make life easy for us non-designers, sketch integration made the additional tasks easier.
Wireframing boilerplate and a single source of truth design dictionary for team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
At this stage, I would suggest you better opt for Figma over InVision. Figma at this stage is light years ahead in every aspect.

University Miro insights

  • January 22, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really love how easy and intuitive the software is (+ that is available for web, app, and browsers). I use most of the templates, and their variety is outstanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes dislike the presets and default navigation tools, they come to be a bit confusing for first-time users, and sometimes settings aren´t that clear, but overall it is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simultaneous teamwork is one of the problems that miro solves; I get a massive benefit from how easy it is to connect with people and how every feature falls in place when working along.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
First-time users must be patient and open to exploring all tolls and find the ones that fit their needs the most.
