Intuitive and Practical, But Permissions Could Improve

  • January 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity and practicality of Miro. The app is very intuitive and quite useful, combining simplicity with details. The initial setup was smooth, I quickly understood how it works after they showed me and I watched some videos on YouTube.
What do you dislike about the product?
The issue of permissions is challenging. Whenever someone new joins the team, it's difficult to grant access to the boards and panels. It would be better if it were more intuitive, with the person being able to access directly with the invitation, without needing to request anything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to solve control and organization problems, facilitating the creation of mind maps and the documentation of processes.

Perfect Balance of Simplicity and Powerful Features

  • January 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Miro is super easy to use, providing the perfect balance between simplicity and complexity of uses. It makes information really easy to digest and helps me a lot with my thought process. I also appreciate how the shortcuts are set up, making it efficient to use. The initial setup of Miro was so easy that my team and I didn't struggle at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the templates are a bit unusable for me, I believe if Miro could have AI-generated templates, or templates that build itself, it should be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for making brainstorms and organograms. It makes information really easy to digest, helping my thought process. It's perfectly balanced between simplicity and complexity, and I like how the shortcuts are set up.

Visually Organize Ideas with Ease and Flexibility

  • January 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Visually displaying all ideas (good and bad, big and small) on a manageable platform. Ability to move these notes around, group them by theme, add emojis and further notes. Really like that you can add a document style now so you don't have to keep referring to another window when creating a board. Love that you can select multiple notes and drag them to create space.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the arrow, linking two post it notes is not easy to use. The templates have not been useful for me. I would like more colours of post its. Easier and clearer shortcuts for copy and pasting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a fully remote team and only meet up once a year in person. Miro allows us to jump on a video call and get all of our ideas together without shouting over each other. There have been times at the end of a research project when we have so many ideas and so much feedback, it's all jumbled together. Creating a sticky note for each idea allows you to see themes emerging and duplicate requests.

Essential Tool for Remote Teams with Intuitive, Visual Collaboration

  • January 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a remote team, Miro allows us to work asynchronously and maintain highly visual, easily digestible project plans and architecture. The UI is intuitive, which allowed our users to hit the ground running when we deployed it. While we haven't had to utilize customer support, we did receive a number of requests for demos or training should we have needed them. If you're new to this type of tool, they will guide you 100% of the way through. We use it daily on all of our projects. Having compared it with competitors, it was an easy win.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are a smaller organization and haven't had the time to dig into creating heavily repeatable templates, but that's on us, not Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is helping us stay connected and visualize project plans and designs, as well as keeping the team updated on features during project execution. We're a highly visual group of workers. We keep our boards updated with changes, which makes documentation at the end of a project a breeze as we already have screenshots and explanations that the technical writers can leverage.

Transforming team collaboration and project clarity

  • January 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro offers a great way for people to collaborate on projects (whether large or small) in a very visual way. Miro can also be used as an information repository for the project making it easy to find the information that would otherwise be scattered across multiple tools. Each frames within the a board can be exported as PDF which makes it easy to share with stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislike that I can think of. The tools fulfills my needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team and I now spend less time searching for documents, and our ability to share ideas, communicate, and iterate has become much more effective. Using Miro saves us time and provides significant improvements in the clarity of project design and management. I am a great advocate for this tool and clients find it very helpful.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can build organizational charts and flowcharts and share them with the team.

During the creative process, solutions that offer more flexibility in an easy and intuitive way facilitate the practice of establishing creative connections, due to the reduction of cognitive effort and the freedom they offer.

Versatile Tool for Workshops and Visual Collaboration

  • January 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to customize layouts and organize information in Miro. It's really useful to have standard templates you can start from and adjust to specific needs. It's a starting point for me to think about how I can best represent or organize information, and what's valuable is that I can then make adjustments as needed to get the best layout. The initial setup was super easy, which I think is fantastic. Plus, it's a great tool that we have come to enjoy using.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be complicated locking areas where you don't want others to adjust - sometimes it's accidentally unlocked or hard to click what you want to lock. Finding where everyone is can be challenging too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for workshops and organizing work plans. It solves issues of visually representing information and access, making it easy to customize layouts and use standard templates as a starting point.
