Brainstorming and sharing ideas has never been easier

  • October 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using miro for a couple months now, and it's a very easy way to share ideas and knowledge with colleagues. I really like the diagraming tool, it comes in handy very often in my line of work. We use Miro for team meetings, for planning, voting for ideas using dots. I probably use it at least once a week, usually more.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's sometimes a bit hard to find the right tool, I find moving arrows from one node to another a bit tedious, especially if I have to edit a couple of them at once. I think the tool selection box could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily keeping multiple ideas, diagrams and flowcharts next to each other hellps me feel organised. Multiple people being able to add notes really speeds up brainstorming as opposed to waiting for each person to say something out loud. In a bigger team, voting for ideas is also really valuable and speeds up meetings drastically. I have more time to do actual work.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how collaborative it is. It enables several people to brainstorm together and visually capture the ideas being discussed for their project.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, when you try to zoom in, it doesn't focus on the spot where your mouse is positioned.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows my team and my clients to share information and collaborate together.

Excellent tool for creative collaboration, and more despite some quirks

  • October 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro excels as a shared collaborative space where multimedia content—photos, text, YouTube videos, Google Docs—comes together in one visible place. Whether we're doing internal brainstorms, building pitch decks, running creative workshops with clients, or planning complex workflows, the ability to see the full breadth of a project at a glance is invaluable. It's truly versatile for everything from systems planning to individual idea management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Board management feels surprisingly rudimentary for such a mature product. Moving boards between projects or spaces is tedious and cumbersome—I wish there was a typical folder/file structure where I could organize and nest boards however I want. Additionally, the sharing dialogue box confuses colleagues: guest access and normal sharing options appear together, making it unclear which link to share. Both board management and sharing permissions seem like they should have been refined by now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of fragmented information across multiple platforms and tools. Instead of jumping between documents, videos, images, and other resources, we can bring everything together in one collaborative visual space. This is especially valuable for complex creative workflows and systems planning where we need to see relationships and connections at a glance. For client workshops and internal brainstorms, it eliminates the friction of sharing and co-creating in real-time. The result is faster ideation, clearer communication, and more efficient project development—everyone can literally see the same big picture.

Miro is part of my day to day, it's the best tool for quick co-creation of content in a visual way

  • October 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro's strengths like in composition, its very fast and easy to throw and shuffle lots of content without a huge effort and complex on-boarding. There's plenty of features for facilitators that make it very fast to knock up a session in no time to help groups get to consensus and clarity.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is common feedback from all interactive whiteboards, that if you weren't involved in content creation a wall of content is hard to mentally process. It's very easy to plaster a wall with content that translated to information overwhelm.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro makes it very easy to go through the process: New board > add some templates and common collaborative workflows > lead/facilitate a session > have insights and consensus at the end of the session.

An excellent meeting point

What do you like best about the product?
You can collaborate both in real-time and in a deferred manner, which is now called "asynchronous work." It includes chat and video conferences. It is very useful for developing ideas, as a board can have a starting point, but you will continue using it for years. For example, we have one from 2021 that we keep updating and improving. It functions as a repository of knowledge that facilitates dynamics in which each person contributes their perspective and then a collective vision of the team is built. It is truly a real revolution.
What do you dislike about the product?
First of all, the issue of zoom can be problematic. If users do not coordinate, one can end up creating something the size of a model, while another designs something as large as one of the 7 sisters. The learning curve is not that simple either; inviting people who have never used the tool to a workshop can be quite chaotic. The free version serves its purpose, although it has its limitations, and when you move to the paid versions and add more users, you start to question the return on investment of all this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a collaborative platform that allows simultaneous work in both physical and virtual teams.

There's no better way to get work done

  • October 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how a lot of the newer capabilities allow me to be "messy" and work towards more structured outputs like presentations and docs. As a "way of working" as well, being able to bring everything I need into a board (pdfs, Google Docs, other resources, etc) to brainstorm, strategize, plan and execute is unmatched - I wish everyone and every org worked this way.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the UX has improved I think there's still a ways to go, especially for users who are less familiar with the tool - when I'm trying to collaborate with team members who are less familiar, it takes a level of education for them to do more than just add sticky notes to a board. A lot of the most useful capabilities and shortcuts can be hard for a general user to find, or the cues, like hover affects are too subtle for them to even notice they're there - eg. resizing capabilities, filtering for bulk editing, 3rd party embeds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows me to move much quicker, efficiently and smarter when working on projects or deliverables

What do you like best about the product?
It's simple to use and works very well for collaborating with teammates. I find it user-friendly and effective when working together with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be used by many people, and what's even better is that it operates in real time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't see any problem at all

A solid tool for team collaboration with minor shortcomings in user comfort.

What do you like best about the product?
The unlimited workspace is a great feature for me, and I appreciate the ability to direct all participants' attention to a specific area. From the standpoint of organizing online collaboration, I find this to be a very powerful tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way paid components are integrated leaves much to be desired. When I search for graphic elements for my projects, I frequently come across premium content that I am unable to purchase as a regular user, which is frustrating. Additionally, the keyboard shortcuts could be more intuitive. For instance, pressing "n" to create a new sticky note doesn't function while I'm typing text. Using a shortcut like Ctrl+N would be a more effective solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform is useful for organizing online meetings, such as mind mapping sessions and strategic planning discussions.
