Miro in consulting
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is quite intuitive. I really love the graphical user interface. We used it heavily when working with clients on solutions. We create system flow charts and charts that make it easier for our team and clients team to implement/follow. There are amazing templates available and they have the ability to embed videos which we really love.
What do you dislike about the product?
While there is a plug-in for Jira integration, there is a lack of enough documentation on setting up the Apps and best practices on how to use them. Setup is a bit cumbersome and I ran into issues where it just kept loading. Hoping improvement here could be a huge help in the industry going forward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We heavily use Miro while consulting and brainstorming with clients. In this pandemic when everyone is working remotely, this has been a blessing and makes it very easy to communicate.
I love Miro
What do you like best about the product?
Most of the features. Easy to collaborate with team members. Easy to drag and drop pics for mood boards. Easy to produce good looking presentations. Easy to create diagrams and user flows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Line spacing is too small and cannot be changed in text fields. When I have bold font selected and then duplicate the textfield and delete the text and write new texr, the text is not bold anymore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Work together with other departments on various design and marketing projects. Mind mapping and Brainstorming in creative Kickoff Mertings. Reviewing and testing designs and user flows.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just try it and share it with your team members.
Great tool for asynchronous collaboration and design workflows !!!
What do you like best about the product?
Miro helps me to speed up team collaboration and design use cases for our projects that lead us to produce perfect user experiences effortlessly. This tool is a lifesaver, primarily when you work remotely with your team, it gives you an ability to whiteboarding, design products, brainstorms ideas, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that bothers me is using a free personal account that is limited to 3 boards. In Addition, it doesn't support creating a powerful presentation with smooth transition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro primarily helps with collaboration and live whiteboarding to design our use cases for our project. I move faster, and our business performance has increased.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I dearly recommend Miro for the remote collaboration team, and no remote.
Remote collaboration & Brainstorming
What do you like best about the product?
I like to use it for aligning stakeholders on the same page and deciding upon a common course of action Everybody can learn intuitively how to use it. It's one of the best tools I used so far in terms of online collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think I don't like that I cannot Invite external participants on internal boards without asking them to sign up. Sometimes they do not want to provide their credentials even if it's just one-click interaction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Distilling the results of the research with cross-functional teams and the upper management. It's a very collaborative process and Miro does exactly what we need.

Miro is super helpful for mapping workflows!
What do you like best about the product?
The product itself. it makes work easier it's easier than using other platforms. I used to work with powerpoint, and worked so hard on fixing the UI, and with Miro its just so easy to create everything!
What do you dislike about the product?
its a bit buggy, I found myself trying to fix the arrows many times and just couldn't work it...so I give up and just do it the way it is. i would also love it it would automatically correct my spacing (align automatically)- would save me a lot of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
part of my job is to map the work processes of other organizations, and I find it super helpful to map the workflow that way. I can later show my customer what I understndood and when they see it visually they can tell me if I understood correctly or not.
Very useful tool to quickly visualize concepts, collecting Ideas and making mind maps
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use quickly draw and connect shapes with text, navigate and zoom. Creating diagrams with miro is much easier and faster than doing it in, e.g., PowerPoint.
The performance is, overall, excellent (i.e., as good as can be expected from a browser-based application). It has improved since I have first used it. The templates help to get started with specific needs.

What do you dislike about the product?
It is not easy to create elements that have a common font size. The font size adjusts depending on the element types. For example, post-its vary font size by default to fill the shape. They can be set to have a fixed font-size, but this also depends on the dimensions of the shape. What I would rather have is an option to have an absolute font size (optionally with the shape adjusting in size to it).
This might not be a problem for miro, where people are used to zoom in and out, but definitely is for exports (e.g., PDF, PowerPoint), where you only have one zoom level.

* Visualize ideas and concepts
* Quick planning (visualize flows and dependencies in a project)
You get much quicker to a usable result than with other tools (e.g., PowerPoint) because the handling of shapes and connections is much more intuitive (and just works!). People were able to use miro without any introduction.

My #1 tool for basically anything
What do you like best about the product?
I'm typically quite unstructured and I love to just get my ideas out. Miro helps me with exactly these two things by allowing me to work creatively but still add structure to the things I'm making. Yesterday a colleague complimented me for working so structured...
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not always easy to find back things or have a central place for your information. I tend to create new boards all the time and sometimes lose track of what to find where.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work collaboratively with colleagues in creative sessions, as well as for collaborative note-taking during user research. Whenever I need to get an idea out of my head, I work it out visually in miro.
So easy to collaborate when working remotely
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a great tool to use when you are looking to collaborate on projects across a team or a whole business. It is easy to use and easy to navigate, you can all work on it together at exactly the same time without your contribution causing problems for other people on the same board as you can work on different parts of the board at one time.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can easily navigate away from the area you are in and easily zoom in and out (which are both good features to have) but when you are discussing specific areas of the board it would be good to lock the board and its contents in that area so this doesn't happen as easily (maybe a double click will allow you to move or edit objects within that specific section of the board?) it can be a hold up when it happens, especially if you are working on a really large board, navigating your way back to where you were could potentially take some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit we've gained from Miro is the ability to work together on a project or campaign when you are all in different places, It feels a lot more similar to what it was when we were in the office working from a whiteboard.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a great tool, that's easy for your whole team to use, and if you're looking for something to bring them together and improve their communication/ collaborative efforts, this is the ONE you want.
A great tool that makes things easy in difficult times
What do you like best about the product?
As a Product Manager, it's key to let other people visualize what is happening inside your head. Miro helps me to translate onto a digital board everything that is in my head or somewhere buried in my notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as I am concerned, the tool can improve by adding more template that relates to different segments of the agile framework. Adding Gartner quads might help in addition to more "scrum" based templates
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to Miro, I do not need a whiteboard in order to express a concept or walk clients through a process. Miro is an excellent tool for visual people like me and helped make every session more interactive.
Miro takes care of both presentation and collaboration needs.
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy for teams to collaborate on Miro. move things around, add content. Most users find it intuitive after a short introduction. A good replacement for whiteboard, but better.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit complicated to host. As a coach, I need to invite people as guests, and not to teams, unless I want a hefty bill. This limits the use of Miro for the people I coach. I can't invite them to a space where all their boards are but need to share individual links. In most cases that is ok.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do everything in miro. Think, plan, teach, share.
