Great tool for workflows and collaborative planning
What do you like best about the product?
Miro allows our team to collaborate on dynamic projects, such as process flow and user journey planning. I appreciate the ability to have our entire team make live changes to the document hassle-free.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know that I have only scratched the surface with Miro as there are so many functionalities that I haven't got familiar with yet. The most significant barriers I've run into have been related to accessibility dependent on screen size, using my trackpad versus a physical mouse, and system crashes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We create logical processes and journey maps in a collaborative interface using Miro, along with quarterly brainstorms. The tool has allowed us to streamline these processes.
Miro is a easy way to design process
What do you like best about the product?
Easy use of the platform. Professionals of different levels can design processes on the platform with no required training. In comparison with competitors, like Whinscal, for example, Miro has more design options, as different collors and shapes to design workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes could be hard to adjust the size of your workflow with the size of the board. It could add ways to visualize and navigate through the design process, especially to find specific topics into it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has simplified how my team designs processes since we have used it to create onboarding workflows explain new experiments to other squads. In the last year, we increased the speed we design our processes and collaborate. So, Miro is a tool for remote teams.
Best mind-mapping tool among its competitors
What do you like best about the product?
Miro offers collaborative tools to help you in every way in an online meeting. In addition, you can easily share a document you have prepared with your team and get their opinions. The thing that impressed me the most was the outstanding collaboration features. It is great for us to instantly draw/edit everything that my team and I are working on during our meetings on the screen with very simple tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Applications are not very stable. For this reason, we sometimes experience performance-oriented problems. Since it is a cloud, it runs all documents and applications as cloud. However, this causes some performance-oriented problems. Maybe they can develop computer applications at this point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We draw some simple sketches with Miro, use them for mind-mapping, and take joint notes at our meetings and exchange ideas on our projects here. With the Miro cloud working feature, it provides the opportunity for many employees to work on the same project jointly without any problems.
COLLABORATION WHITEBOARD TO SHOW, DISCUSS AND CREATE A PRODUCT STORY
What do you like best about the product?
It allows upload different files such as pictures, drawings, sketches,...You can also add any comment writing sticky notes. Templates are pretty helpful to get ideas. I love how you can deploy a pdf doc, page by page, to work on that..it is great.... It would be great if each page could be framed automatically
What do you dislike about the product?
Shapes for diagraming could be improved. They are "flat". You can not add a picture from Google Photos to the preview area....and I have first to download the picture....

I can show in just one whiteboard the whole product story...It helps me to review and share the whole picture for each project

What do you like best about the product?
work online with all my colleagues and do whatever i want in the workspace of the framework. I use a lot of templates and I'm free to change them

i have not found yet something that I disliked

I am making meeting follow-ups and drawing data flows and brainstorming of new ideas and projects. I'm more productive with design and actions for my team. business performance increased with the follow-up meetings notes

Helpful and Collaborative
What do you like best about the product?
For me, the best part about using Miro is the ability to plan/ brainstorm tasks simultaneously with members of my team. We can fill a board with images to help explain our ideas alongside a spreadsheet to track them.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that I think is missing from this product is simply larger tables. We often reach the limit in the number of rows allowed in a table and are required to make a new table which breaks up our planning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to follow another user's cursor is a great benefit. We can use this when in meetings to quickly review the board as a team and understand what each team member is discussing.
Great Collaboration and planning tool
What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro easy to use, and easy to learn. Working with my co-workers even on different shifts is so easy, and during these working from home times, it has allowed us to keep working
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are only available in the top tier payment option. Which is designed for larger business's then ours. And while we will be upgrading, we won't for the next year use all the license that we get on that teir.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mapping development and code has made it easier to come back and look at what we are doing, and not having to clear a whiteboard everytime we need to create somethign new.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitly give it a go. and do some of the basic training, as it will help you get the most out of the product. If you are using a whiteboard, this is a very flexible alternative
Best Software Ever
What do you like best about the product?
The extent of the power Miro gives you to manipulate information is breathtaking. I have no idea how I would have been able to build my existing business without it. In fact, I have built my company around Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the fact that I can't automate boards to unlock certain exercises on certain dates. If I could do that, I could produce an evergreen training program that would unlock extraordinary value for customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to use Miro to capture information from my clients and rearrange that information in more intuitive ways to help clients visualize their business more clearly.
Miro is born for the new remote/hybrid world we are living in
What do you like best about the product?
Miro just works. The interface and navigation make sense and the time from when I sit down to having a helpful visual, diagram, workflow, etc. is about as fast as I can do with a whiteboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing all of the different accounts can be tricky as some people have a personal free account, and then our business has one. Im sure this is more of an internal process issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to map out 3+ user journeys through our software. Parts of their journey exist on our platform and some parts off. We've been able to use Miro to visualize these complex processes clearly and it has helped us to simplify them after we've seen opportunities on our diagram.

Its a fantastic tool that integrates well into any of the other pieces of software you are using.

Miro is great as it is so simple to use; less tech savvy users can jump right in and be productive. We tried many similar tools and Miro is by far the best.
It works great as a web app, so users don't have to install the desktop app and makes it great for quick reviews anywhere.

What do you dislike about the product?
We often run workshops with people that will likely never use Miro again, so don't have and will never need a full account and are given a link to participate with ability to edit however these people are assigned a random name which can make it hard to know who is who during the workshop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In covid times with many people working from home, Miro has been invaluable to continuing business through lockdowns.
Miro has enabled us to remain productive in creative groups and includes more people in the creative process.
We have had staff moving away from our office location, and Miro makes it easier to retain those workers as there are very few requirements to be physically in the office.

Miro is a great platform and actively developing with a vibrant community where you can get answers and ideas for running virtual workshops and have found it a great learning resource.
Do try other platforms, it will highlight how good Miro is; I tested quite a few and always came back to Miro.
